The manager gave us excellent info on restaurants & the city. Motel was away from the freeway, quiet, and close to restaurants.
breakfast , the hole motel is run down..
The gentleman that check us in was very rude. Yelled at our visitors. Told them it was past visiting hrs which was not his place to say. The towels felt like sandpaper. The doors had bad gaps big enough to see not only light but people waking by.
Friendly staff; inexpensive for rather large room
No coffeemaker in the room (site said there was one). Noisy pipes, ants in the bathroom.
The room was raher clean and comfortable , we had a refrigerator.
This motel is so ugly, standing on a top of a parking , very depressing , the stair way smelly and the breakfast consisted in a coffee ,orange juice and a awful plastic wrapped muffin, so don't mention "breakfast included" We did not wait to get out of there. One more time, I do not understand how Booking.com recommend us that motel. Very deceiving.
Quite, clean well kept rooms. Everything we needed, for a much better price.Close to the freeway but no noise. Short hop to Food, shopping, or downtown.
Nothing, enjoyable stay.
having somebody with me that have a marijuana medication card and then the owner wanted to turn that person in and charged us an extra hundred and fifty dollars did not matter to them that they had a marijuana card
We liked the location - so close to I5 and almost midway from Sacramento to Seattle. Very clean and the couple who run it were extremely helpful & friendly.
Would have liked a coffee pot in the room.
the cleanliness and the friendly staff
Price for one night comfort.
Bed a little hard, breakfast basically non existent.
Good for just a place to stop and sleep for a good deal. Front desk guy was awesome.
They had many rooms available The owner is very friendly and accomadating Place is very clean No bedbugs Lots of parking Close to restuarants and gas stations Easy access to freeway Rooms are inexpensive
Rooms have old tvs and cable not great Room was either too warm or too cold when try to adjust temperature
Quiet and good value with covered parking
Office area locked until 7:00am. Had to leave before that time without instructions about where to leave the key and with no coffee.
The room was very small and did not have any freezer or microwave. The heating system was broken and was blowing the whole night, so it was extremely cold. It was not worth the money paid.
There was a round table with comfortable chairs next to the window. A nice spot to sit and eat or read. The room was well lit and the bed was comfortable.
The faucet was the kind that maybe dates from the seventies, with a faceted clear plastic knob that you pull out. This is harder to manipulate than more up-to-date faucets. The water can come too fast and furiously, and be wasted.
The owner was great very helpful and nice. Easy to find and get to. Called ahead because running late and they were great and willing to wait up for us. Cheap rate.
Hotel is an older one. You get an actual key.
location was great
no elevator "breakfast" was commercially wrapped muffins, orange juice, coffee - no designated area for eating; muffins were on a tray on the checkin counter
Clean and tidy with good facilities. Basic breakfast.
Nice visiting with owner.
Bathroom not clean.
It's a fine place to sleep if you are on a budget.
The building hasn't been updated in many, many years. It is clean and well kept, but quite dated.
The room was very clean and tidy, with invigoratingly hot water from a powerful shower, the staff were friendly and engaging, even offering directions to three good restaurants (Brix Grill, the one we chose, was excellent!) and within walking distance of the motel. There's a Denny's right next door if that suits your tastes. The Dunes motel (with no actual dunes in sight!) is a good value for the money, right off I-5 (but you can't hear the highway), and just across twin bridges into and out of the quaint downtown area of Roseburg. The owner is a funny bugger and tells a good tale. He had us smiling. Thanks for good stay.
The bed was a bit bouncy - no, really, all by itself! Otherwise, nothing distracted from a pleasant stay.
We were on the road for a month and not much matters if it isn't clean. This place is spotless. They did get us a coffee pot on request and suggested a wonderful place for dinner.
We where at Roseburg for an Art festival, we use the hotel to sleep and shower mainly. This hotel is just right, very close to the festival, clean, hot shower. The owner is a very nice gentleman that makes you fell like family. The price is right for what we need.
Price was good, staff freindly
AC didnt work very well. Mattress was old connected spring style.
Asked for late check out and was told they were full. When we came back there were only three cars in the whole lot. They did however let us leave our car there as we went for a long bicycle ride.
