The parking isn't favorable. We had to walk pretty far from and to an unsheltered garage.
Indoor pool, Jacuzzi, Lazy river, pool tables, ping pong, Starbucks, restaraunt, bar, gift shop, public computer area, indoor golf, etc. This resort has everything imaginable for children and adults. You don't have to leave the premises for fun!
One remote for two TV's. Called front desk by accident trying to get an outside line and the guy (receptionist) called back and was very mean about it. Also, sales lady on premises recruiting/harassing people to sign up for time share presentations.
Wasn't aware of the options for my children until I arrived. Kids had a blast & closed the indoor water parks every night. Starbucks a plus for me. Thanks for a great weekend!!
11 check-out indoor water park spacious rooms
I liked the outside vanity and sink for convenience of being used the same time as the bathroom. I liked the two TVs one for use of regular TV and the other one for DVD, Cd, and TV if desired.
The microwave a little small
The accomodations were nice.
There were some guests that were very loud and drunk outside our room until after midnight. I had to call security 3 times.
Been going to Myrtle Beach for over 20 years. Best place we have ever stayed at for a family.
The clean appearance and very nice rooms.
Would like earlier check in.
Location was good.
The room was filthy. There was lip stick on the electrical outlet by the vanity. The box springs were stained with who knows what. Dust covered all the electrical outlets. The balcony was cracked all the way across, so my husband nor I wouldn't set on it. Very DISAPPOINTED, terrible week- end. Would NEVER stay here again!
I had booked a Oceanfront King room for an overnight trip for my granddaughters birthday and when I checked in I was told that I was getting a DOUBLE upgrade. They put me and my friend in a Oceanfront two bedroom condo that was AMAZING! This room was absolutely beautiful! I would live in it. I want to thank Barbara and Toni for making our overnight stay wonderful! Will definitely stay again! The waterpark was the perfect place for my grandchildren to play as well.
Absolutely nothing applies here
On day of check out Valet lined up multiple cars in all spots near the building for hours before owners were ready. Rest of the guest had to load away from the building. Extra hotel fees make rate much higher than anticipated.
The room was fantastic for 5 people. The davenport bed was much better than a pullout. The kitchen was fully equipped and the bathroom was spacious. It was great having the laundry facilities in our room. But the best of all was the spacious balcony over looking the beautiful ocean. The choice of waterparks and pools meant you never got board and there were a lot of other amenities that kept everyone busy. The staff were very helpful and friendly and were only minutes from anything we wanted to do. We will definately be returning
The only part that was not enjoyable was leaving!!
Waterpark for the kiddos
No movie rentals
Pool Area for Kids,
Wi-Fi very slow- lots of buffering- continued to lose connection. Pillows were too bulky
Large clean room with view of ocean. Staff friendly and helpful.
Playground was great for the kids better than three years ago Very nice Rezeption sraff
We are family of five we got four sets oft towels we ask for more it took cleaning more than two hours to bring a sets oft towels we had to call a second time
Location, plenty of space in the two bedroom suite for 7. Overall it is a good place to place to stay. Kids loved the indoor waterpark
Dead roach in the pull out couch. One Bathtub was very clogged, which I decided to clean out with a pair of tweezers, that was a disgusting mistake! With taxes, the room was over 200 a night, just seems like a lot considering we were not there that much and the state of the room. Furnishings starting to look a bit run down.
Spacious rooms with everything we needed.
Location and outer facilities were great. Clean exterior and beach/pool area. Too cold to use the pool but hot tub was in great condition. Bed was comfy. Location of room was oceanside - great.
Room was a surprise as to how outdated it was - #509. Kitchen needs a complete remodel and the shower/bathroom needs an update.
Close proximity to the beach. Room was good size for everyone.
The kitchen light was not working, this is the second time we have stayed and the sleeper sofa has been dirty.
The view and the assistance from the staff
Booking .com went over the top to help me with my reservations and changing them.
The hotel staff was snobby and rude...the British woman thought she owned the hotel and lied to me about my reservations. NEVER will I stay at the Dunes again. Had I booked it myself I would have lost $900.00 Thank God for booking.com who did the work for me and got my money refunded.
view room staff pool
prices for food this year the mattress was uncomfortable for myself
Great location, amenities and nice rooms
When the temperature is in the 40's the "indoor" water park needs to be closed off. It is advertised as being indoor but all of the windows are open so technically the only thing that makes it indoor is that it has a roof. It was too cold to enjoy it
1) We loved the view, the sound of the ocean and the overall area. 2) Being off season, things were fairly easy to get to and enjoy such as the great show at the Alabama Theater. 4) Stopped in at TBonz at Barefoot Landing for appetizers and had the best wings ever. Wish they were in our home area.
1) The room had signs of wear and tear smelled old and musty - getting the door (no screen) open to get some fresh air helped. The in-use light on the stove was on but we never used it. 2)Getting caught up in the timeshare deal believing we were talking with hotel staff. 3) Everything in Myrtle is so expensive. 4) The concierge staff didn't know much about the area or restaurants. Said they would look them up online for us. We could do that ourselves.
