House and neighborhood is nice
I was able to book this property last minute for the same night only bad thing about that was that I booked after 6pm. Which no where states that the office was closed so therefore I paid for a night that obviously wasn't available. Paula at book it had a hard time letting the DWS know that they had to refund us our money they said no!! I'm waiting to here from book it about our refund. Last night there when we returned from Disney we tried to open the door to the house and couldn't luckily there was and after hours number on by the front door, I called and told then the situation that person then had to call a locksmith we were stranded outside with a 6 month old baby for almost 2hrs. The locksmith replace the lock stating that it was old and with our luck broke on our stay there. I called the office and left a voicemail of the situation. Can you believe no one has called us to apologize!!! First with the booking of a house that wasn't available and taking out money which to me is robbery and then is incident!! You would think as command courtesy they ok would have called us for both issues but they haven't!! Or even give us one extra day since I had already paid for that night that really wasn't available and then being stranding outside. My suggestion would be to call them first BEFORE 6PM and ask them all the question you have before booking!! Nice place far from Disney but comfortable for a baby. I'll be waiting for my refund for that night and maybe a apology??!!
Clean little house, lots of bathrooms. It was a place to sleep at night.
There were 2 swimming pools. We took the kids to the one closest to us. It was always closed. Turns out that only one pool was open, and it was the one further away. Our kids never got to swim. There were no extra garbage bags. We had to use little shopping bags toward the end of our stay. So we had to take our garbage to the dumpster it those little bags the day we left. There was no dish soap or paper towels in kitchen. The master bedroom had a leak in ceiling. We called maintenance, no one ever answered. We dealt with one employee who checked us in, she was efficient but unfriendly.
Upon arriving, I was impressed with the 24 hour security of the location. It was in a gated subdivision. I was expecting 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, but was surprised that the home had 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. It was quite spacious. The private pool and laundry were excellent benefits. It had all the amenities that we needed. JP, the maintenance man, was very polite, and helped us when needed.
I was told that I would be getting a King size bed, 2 queen size, and 2 twins. However, I got 2 queens and 4 twins. I was disappointed at not having a King size bed. As soon as we entered the home, we started hearing a beeping sound that went off every few minutes. We soon realized that the battery in the fire alarm was weak, and it just happened to be in the living room on the vaulted ceiling that would require a ladder to reach. It would be quite annoying trying to sleep with the fire alarm beeping all night/day for a week. I called the emergency # right away and it took about an hour for a call back. JP, the maintenance man, was super busy and didn't arrive until 10pm our first night. However, he was very polite and helpful and changed the battery. It was also terribly hot upon arrival, because the AC had been turned down, and it took quite a while to cool the house back off. It was on a timer. The worst part, however, were the bugs. There was definitely a bug problem in the house. We had ants and roaches crawling on the counters. There were dead bugs in the bath tub as well. My son went to eat his cereal one morning and had ants crawling in it! That was disgusting. We had to put ALL the food in the refrigerator to keep the bugs off. Also, the home was about 30-40 minutes from all the the parks. So we had to pay a toll every time we wanted to go to downtown Orlando, which was about everyday.

The blinds weren't to my likening they were broke wouldn't open or close the right way.
That everybody had they on room and that it was not that dirty like everybody was saying on the computer.. We had a wonderful time and we will be calling them again come next year and we didn't even have to go to a time share. So we got to enjoy FLORIDA beaches and theme parks.
The beds comforters was not that clean enough for me. Everything else was okay with us.
nice people, good neighborhood, key in box, stores near by, clean large house, washer and dryer, good towels and clean beds.
having to leave messages to call back, no king size bed in master bedroom, one bed missing pillowcase, hall carpet had bad stains, kitchen chair pads and place mats not clean, missing some cooking pots had to call to get some, only one kitchen cloth, back slide door hard to open and door blind broken.
Space, facilities and location
A fan in junior suit was a bit noicy. Everything else was excellent.
We were not able to open the house with the security code given (since it was not explained how it should work), so we called the "24 hour atention number" several times. Nobody answererd. We called Booking and they were not able to contact then either. With no help, we could only manage to enter the house by dawn. We got exhausted and lost our first day in Orlando. The house is not a villa and there's no security. A week from our arrive, they changed our house to another one we didn't want. I wouldn't book with then again, there's no assistance. There are other options for the same price..

The Davenport house was new and big (2000sf, 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms) with a small private pool. Good amenity - 3 flat screen TVs and pool/hockey tables in the garage. Reliable wifi and a/c. Very clean. Friendly staff responsive via email. Great value!! Saved hundreds per day comparing to tiny hotel rooms and more on food.
It's ok distance from Disney (10-15 min drive) and a bit far from Universal (25-min drive). Only 1 detergent packet and 1 small shampoo bottle. Bring your own if you have an extended stay.
When I landed in Florida with my family I was informed there was no house for me.

My young adult children loved the pools and I loved the hot tub. The landscape of the place was beautiful! The inside of the villa was also beautifully decorated. We enjoyed our stay very much!
some of the out lets in the house didn't work
I liked that it was centrally located and the property was clean, well maintained as well as comfortable.
We checked in on a Saturday and it was somewhat of a hassle as we didn't travel with the printed confirmation each time we went out of the complex to get back in even though we had the temporary permit.
no supplies. not very clean. broken light switch. broken coffee pot. no usable pots and pans. no office!!! not able to speak to anyone since I always got the answering machine.
this was a geat location and was very private. i liked their security that was in place made everyone feel safe
Livation was great. Confort. It was like home away from home.
Needs new pans and cooking utencils. New sheets and pillows. Needs more communication from the agency as far as key code and what to expect. Like a list of ehat we will meed at the home: dish soap, toilet paper, etc....
We loved having our own pool. Even though the weather wasn't as hot as we would have liked, the kids swam anyway!
When we arrived, there was trash all over the driveway. Apparently it was left out and animals must have gotten into it. Inside the house was very clean and we were pleased with it.
The facility and surrounding we're very impressive. The place was roomy and with three children, two adults and one seven year old, the place was just right.
It all started weeks before our trip when I had to call repeatedly and send a message to get all the information, address to the house we were renting. Arriving late at night on the first day and discovering that the information given wasn't sufficient or even accurate was most frustrating. Having just arrived from outside the country with no access to a phone to call was a downer. We were stuck at the main gate with no code to get through the gate. When we eventually got through late at night we were offended by the staff member who was mending the desk who treated us like fools when we couldn't open the box to get the key. After a while she her self realized that we had a wrong code. That was a bitter start to our vacation.
Location WIFI kitchen utensils everything we wanted, was in the house.
Quality of some products like iron board, pressure in showers' water was not good. It was not communicated about where to put the trash by facilities, how to open lockbox. Communication about villas and inside features should be communicated, so we can plan for things which are not going to be in the house like paper towels, trash bags etc.
Excited to plan a football team vacation to Walt Disney but on arrival we were assigned to a dws Vacation Villas complex beds not made up, dirty kitchen, garbage, dirty bath room, the whole dws Villas was completely uncleaned. With under staff short notice to clean to maintance staff, no towels was available, after one hour and forty five minutes to be assigned to another dws Vacation Villas. Upon being assign to a new dws Vacation Villas the king bed room Bath Room spa motor not working, poor maintenance, the stove burners not working, no bath towels to take a bath upon arrival, then after four calls to sandy on dec. 5Th towels were deliver the next day dec. 6Th, On a byecle Carrier at 11am. The duration stay from Dec. 5Th - 12th none of the maintenance broken items were not fixed after calling repeating daily to Sandy and the face bowel is missing the stopper. I personaly found a wal-mart store Near by Venissa bay villa in kissimmee, florida. This type of service make vip customers plan with other facilities and spread the word of how your say at this dws Vacation Villa in kissimmee, Florida, The Address is Bldg. 33 Room 108. My football team and myself plan our vacation stay with you for the first time to played foot ball at the espn complex on Dec. 7Th - 10th, and 12. We all were disapointed in the poor service rendered by Sandy to not get any service the duration of our trip from Dec. 5Th - 12th. Sandy promise a maintenace personal with be at the site on Sunday Dec.7th I personaly stayed all day sunday waiting no show of maintence representive, and still no show upon check out time on dec. 12Th. I am sorry to lose vacation time, to be forece to purchase small bath towels to take a bath.
On Dec. 5Th arrive At Venissa bay Villa to be assign to a total dirty Venissa Bay Villa. The Kitchen dirty, Garbage left, all bed dirty not made Up. Repack the rental car to be assigned another Vacation Villa took one hour and forty five minutes. After being assigned a new Vacation Villa at Bldg. 33 Room108, King Bed Room Bath Tub jet spa motor not woring, stove burners not working, face bowel missing stoper, no towels to take a bath, I found a wal-mart To Purchase towels after many calls to sandy daily to make a call to maintenance from dec. 5Th - Dec. 12Th every thing is still broken no show of maintenamce. I plan this Vaction due to our football team played At espn complex superbowl champenship, to give business to your facility, but in return poor service. I will look in the near future investing with other business. This service was unexceptable. We vacation consist of a 7 days stay to pure unprofessional staff conducted by Sandy. I was promise by Sandy maintenance will come to repair all broken bath tube spa Motor, face bowl Stopper missing, Stove burner broken, towels to take a simple bath after one hole day arriveing on Dec. 5Th, I purchase towels at Wal-Mart on Dec. 6Th to take a bath. I am very sorry to experience such poor, poor, poor service I will make sure other Business, and Organization will not experience the same poor service. I am very sorry.
