I am very happy with Dylan Hotel until my last day. The hotel is located in a very central location. The room was adequate size. The lift was slow but acceptable. The airconditioning was working fine. The last day I asked for an hour late check out. The receptionist said that he need to check with the manager. I am confident that he did not even try to get me a late check-out. It may be the New York style but there is no harm at least pretenting that you are trying. |

Central location in New York. Good to have breakfast included in the hotel price and the breakfast was good. Air conditioning in room was very efficient but the controls were not very evident and it was necessary to turn the fan off at times as it became very cold. |

Convenient location The room was extremely damp - it could have ben due to the bloody great big wet patch on the ceiling from the upstairs loo. The cleaning staff was good, but then the housekeeping suprvisor chick, after checking my room, left the room door open! Talk about carelessness! I thought I was being burgled, hell, it was only sloppiness. This can really ensure you do not visit again. |

The position is perfect to visit the city, is to steps from 5th Ave and from the central station. The room is big enough and even if it's so central is really quite |

We really appreciated the location and the entire feel of the hotel, very cosy. The only thing that I did not appreciate was the size of the room and no closet to hang cloths. |

The hotel is in a really good position (200m from Grand Central, Airoport Express bus, subway, etc..), rooms are large enough (considering other Manhattan's hotel) and clean, staff is nice and helpful. |

Good service Provided Internet connextion quality was unacceptable. Good Internet service was one of my most important request for the hotel, beside the location and value for the money. |

Central position, very clean, good internet connection included in the room price Expensive charge for breakfast and very expensive phonecall charge (the other side of NY is considered long distance charged as much as calling to Europe!) |

I enjoyed staying at the Dylan very much. The hotel is cosy and very well located. The rooms with the king-size bed are comfortable and quite spacious by city standards. |

The room was surprinsingly quiet. But with no view at all, apart from office windows. Also Very clean. And quite big for a hotel room (luxury queen room). The Business center was not working, so no possibility to check e-mails. |

The location is excellent, just round the corner from Grand Central. There is an excellent adjoining restaurant, the Benjamin Steakhouse. We were unhappy with our room because it had a generator outside the window but, without hesitation, we were moved to another room on the top (16th) floor. The first room offered faced an internal area with a generator of some sort. The room itself was large with a queen sized bed but the noise of the generator would have been a problem. We were moved on request without hesitation.. |

Great location, but thats about it. The room was small, it definitely needed updating, bed was very uncomfortable. The air conditioning was very noisy, I was there the weekend of the heatwave in April, I dread to think what it would be like to stay there during the summer months. |

Most of staff very friendly. Good bar. I did not get the room (junior suite) I had booked - it was overbooked supposedly. A front desk assistant (Anna) was terribly rude and could not care less (I would fire her on the spot). Breakfast not great. |

close to grand central and times square. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Hotel was clean, room was comfortable. Thrilled there was a dental kit since I left my toothbrush home. |

The Dylan Hotel is very well located, close to the United Nations and on the other side to the 5th Ave, walking distance from the Central Park. It is a relatively small hotel, and cosy through use of colours and furbishing. Noise of heating in bathroom (difficult to turn off). Breakfast is rather expensive, and although room service menu lists various types of breakfasts and prices in the restaurant it is a one-choice full breakfast only, or at least presented as such. |
