Location was fab, great by subway at grand central. Great food places around. Big bathroom, comfy bed.

The internet never picked up network- staff said it would be re-set, but it never was. Dribble of a shower was pathetic.

Perfect location!

The sink in the bathroom was clogged and we had to ask twice in order for someone to come and fix it.

Poor housekeeping, didn't clean our rooms the first day. They came but we requested them to come back after 5 minutes but they never came back The next day they barely cleaned it and did not put toiletries The receptionist guy was rude in answering simple questions however the trainee was very nice so was the valet

The entire staff was extremely helpful; from the initial phone call and bookings, to check in and eventual check out. Checking in, the hotel allowed us to arrive early and offered to watch our bags, however the room was ready early and they allowed us to check in early. Upon departure, although check out was at 12 noon, they allowed us to leave our bags all day if we wanted in case we wanted to see more of the city. One gentleman even went as far as going outside to try to help wave us a cab!

Understanding that this is NYC and with that all/any hotel room will be pricey, the quality of this room was adequate at best; I've been in worse but also much better. The air conditioning thermostat was basically a prop; it didn't change the AC operation at all (the room temperature was adequate despite this). The furniture was old and worn and the bathroom was small, but overall it was sufficient for our needs and housekeeping was very good.

The location was prefect. The bed was extremely comfortable.

The outlets were really old and in difficult locations.

Always great to stay at the Dylan - great location, friendly staff and lovely comfortable rooms. Never stay anywhere else when in NYC! And their Benjamin steak house is just fabulous!

They gave me the wrong room on the first night and were rude about it. The rooms were cold and the ac made noise but didn't produce heat. The bed was not very comfortable and the window was a struggle to open and close (in a smoking room!).

The room was clean and the heating and a/c worked fine. We could open the windows to get fresh air. The bedding was good quality and clean.

While a good size, the bathroom had zero counter space, just a small area around the sink, making it very awkward to put on makeup, brush teeth, etc. There is plenty of room to install more counter space and this would be a worthwhile upgrade. Also, we were placed on the 2nd floor near the doors to the kitchen area of the restaurant. We were awoken around 1:30 with the sounds of staff moving tables and talking. Finally, the staff was not very knowledgeable about specifics of nearby shopping even though we were in the heart of the shopping district.

As a photographer I had a couple of equipment bags in and out the hotel everyday - could have done with a bit of help opening the door! English Breakfast Tea! Wi-Fi very poor.

WIFI was very slow

A wonderful boutique hotel, Fabulous location, convenient to everything in mid-town and beyond. The bus from ewr airport, which promised to drop passengers at Grand Central Station, instead dropped us on 41st just east of Park. All I had to do was cross Park to the hotel! Gracious staff. Nice to have the restaurant in the hotel. Comfortable, quiet, room with good amenities. Big coffee cups with good European coffee in room. Recent remodel to the room I had, with more on the way, I'm told. A friend who joined me for breakfast at Benjamin's Steak House will recommend the hotel to her friends visiting the city.

Fox News had been frozen on screen for at least four days as of my arrival. Each call brought a different excuse as to why, varying from needing a reset, to not being in their contract with Time Warner cable, to there not being any cable tv in the hotel at all, to Time Warner would be out after the holiday to fix it, but not until after I had left the hotel. (As of my noon checkout time the third day, it was still not fixed.) Not only is it unacceptable to omit the top rated cable news station on the air for days at a time, but the wide variety of excuses suggested a willingness on the part of the hotel to skirt the truth. This is my only reason for marking down the facilities, which were otherwise delightful. Fitness room a bit cramped and the equipment was not the finest.

The hotel advertised free wifi however access from rooms was variable and could not be relied on for work purposes. There were a few things not working well in the room and it took a few days to get them sorted out - mostly I believe because staff did not follow up.

The room was big clean and very comfortable. The location to Grand Central was outstanding. I loved the shower.

There wasn't any view and the window stayed covered by a curtain so it was a little dark.
