Location-location-location! Room/street very peaceful and quiet while only 1/2 block from Grand Central Station. The room was larger than any I've stayed in at this price range (in any Manhattan neighbourhood). A very nice boutique hotel at a very reasonable price! |

The Dylan is close to the New York Library and Grand Central Station. The UN is nearby. I really appreciated the free internet access. It was a nice place, but nowhere near worth the price I paid. The styling is very nice, but the bed was too soft. Similarly, the chairs and couch were more about the look than the comfort and utility. |

It was a good place to sleep and rest. The bed was very large and comfortable, the absurdely high ceilings made me feel like we were in a pit, but with the really good curtains keeping the light ou I slept ike a baby. The tv was broken and we had to ask for toothpaste. |

Pratically nothing as the expectations for the price and the location were really high, I did not find what I wanted for the price I paid!. After two days I moved to another Hotel! Almost every thing |

proximity to Grand Central Station there was no daylight in Room 307, had I know that I would stay in dark all the time, I would not prefer this hotel. |

Our suite was unusually spacious at a fair price. It included a fabulous 60-foot balcony and attractive bathroom. The bell desk staff was competent and professional. Great location. The front desk staff was unimpressive -- it was ten minutes before anyone so much as acknowledged us upon check-in. The room felt "thrown together" with odds and ends as if from a garage sale -- particularly the living area in the suite that had tacky decorations, curtains that did not close properly , inadequate lighting for reading and cheap furniture. |

Well appointed room with fabulous beds and linens and a great, minimalist marble bathroom; wi-fi;,very courteous, helpful staff, excellent mid-town manhattan location - close to shopping, theatres, subway, a block from grand central station and the new york public library and bryant park. Oh yes ! no bed bugs as I far as I could see; I checked! No view, very little sunlight in my room, a 'not great' blue carpet in my room, few common amenities beyond a small lobby and the restaurant/steak house. Re bed bugs: apparently this is a problem in all classes of hotel in new york and worth determining ahead of time and as part of the overall rating of the hotel. It does not apply to the dylan hotel which is exceptionally clean !!!!! |

Location, location, location! The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was modern. They were stingy with their towels (even after I requested extra) and soap. Also, the room was very dark even with all of the lights on. |

I liked the location of the hotel and the reasonable costs. I did not like the facilities. I do not believe it should be rated a 4 star hotel, more like a 3 star hotel. The breakfast buffet was not worth the 20 dollars, the room was not well lit and the bathrooms need updating. Simply put, the hotel looked nothing like the pictures on the website. |

Staying at the Dylan was an excellent location for all activites in Manhattan. Close to public transport, parks, the river and good restaurants. My room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast cooked dishes eg. could have been hotter. |

Spacious, quiet room, good design, comfortable bed, nice bathroom (spacious, comfortable, attractive design), ipod dock, friendly staff. Only complaint is about the booking system with tax not included in the advertised rate. Made it quite a lot more expensive. |

The bed was comfortable! The room was spacious and clean, and we enjoyed our stay there. It was in the heart of Manhattan so close to shopping and restaurants. Also right beside (1 block) Grand Central Terminal, so easy for getting around. |

I am very happy with Dylan Hotel until my last day. The hotel is located in a very central location. The room was adequate size. The lift was slow but acceptable. The airconditioning was working fine. The last day I asked for an hour late check out. The receptionist said that he need to check with the manager. I am confident that he did not even try to get me a late check-out. It may be the New York style but there is no harm at least pretenting that you are trying. |

Central location in New York. Good to have breakfast included in the hotel price and the breakfast was good. Air conditioning in room was very efficient but the controls were not very evident and it was necessary to turn the fan off at times as it became very cold. |
