    When I checked into my room I noticed a minibar check list that was not replaced with a new one. The minibar was not restocked either. Sloppy cleaning that could have cost me a lot of money had I not noticed it

    The location is great. The fitness center is well-equipped.

    The room furniture was a little old. The insulation was not good: the noise from outside made it difficult to sleep... The room was small. There was no micro-wave. The price of the room is quite high: you pay the location.

    Staff, location, size of hotel, modern room with adequate space.... great price for a wonderful quiet location in NYC. Not every tourist is at the front door of the hotel.

    Bathroom sink need counter to place toiletries, make-up, hair brush etc.

    Location, price,cleanliness,

    Needs shelve in bathroom (no place to put toiletries), difficulty using phone after repair was done. Had to ask for soap

    Great location, comfortable bed.

    This is a European hotel which caters to a large European clientele. Rooms smell like smoke, even in "non-smoking " rooms and the staff seems to "look the other way." Staff is polite, but customer service is uneven. Rooms are adequately clean, but hotel rooms definitely need renovating and better maintenance( cracks in floor tile; bathroom caulking that is brown and peeling; grouting needs repair definitely needs better maintenance and TLC. Also, no robe and slippers in room, as advertised, and not put in 2nd day either. Basic toiletries were not replaced (soap, tissues, hair conditioner), dust was left on light fixtures, carpet was not vacuumed adequately. Also, I had to remove a burnt washcloth behind a bathroom light fixture that someone had placed there- could have been a fire hazard!). Don't know how long it was there, but housekeeping did not clean there! Some of the staff is more helpful than others; the male staff was awesome; they were more customer-friendly and more accommodating, than the two female staff members that I dealt with. Both female members were polite, but were not responsive to valid complaints, and were not very customer-friendly. All three of the male staff members, on separate occasions, however, were very polite, accommodating, and very responsive to hotel issues. There are many hotels to choose from in NYC, and I will not stay here again.

    Location

    Staff unresponsive, especially the general manager. Nonsmoking room that reaked of cigarette smoke. Requested new room. No response. Housekeeper said room above us was smoking and vents are conected.Needed towels. Contacted desk, waited 30 min.then we tracked down housekeeper. Room not "made up" by 4:00 pm first day. Had to call for housekeeping. Party in next room on last night. Contacted desk at 11:00 pm. Party still getting louder at 11:30. Called again. Desk clerk sent up bellhop (Dylan has no house security). Party still louder. Told desk either change room or get police. Room changed at 1:00 am. Left written message at checkout fo GM to contact us. Still no call. Service is apparently not a priority.

    Wifi connection was not working and no breakfast included. I have filtered only hotels with breakfasts included from booking.com then this hotel listed so I have selected. They said it was a separate option I had to add. I have paid about 65 dollars for three people and we were the only one at the restaurant. I wanted to have a hot water for the instant ball noodle and the front receptionist was not happy to do it but looked at me with a mean face. I won't go there again.

    - excellent front desk service , reception very friendly and helpful - centralized place for shopping and access through tram

    -shower room was splashing water all over as the door does not cover well. - couldn't locate the aircon control in the room so not able to monitor temperature of room

    Fast check in, free wifi, clean rooms

    Our floor had staff hanging around, apparently using a room. Could hear loud voices in the hallway outside our room in the morning.

    Location is good and close to transport

    The room on the 14th floor was outdated and the bathroom could use a major refurb. Very small wash basin and no place to hang towels. Beds are not great and sacking in the middle. TV and wifi (slow) signals are substandard.

    Oat at the front desk was super helpful and attentive to our needs. The double luxury room that we had was a corner room and very large for the four of us. The bathroom was modern and the location of the hotel was awesome! I would highly recommend staying at the Dylan!

    The location is so convenient - an easy walk to everything I needed to do. Plus I love that it connects to the Benjamin and they deliver! Best room service ever.

    Spaciousness of the room, great corner room with lots of space, beds were very comfortable, the location could not have been more convenient for our activities in the city. It was very quiet, good sound proofing.

    When I checked out my credit cards were denied and I expect it is because it is a Eurostar hotel and there main system may be linked outside the country my credit card company probably registered that I was outside the country and because they hadn't been notified they would not put it through. I called one of the companies and it said they had not denied payment. Desk people tried a 4th time and it went through but it was a very scary moment to have two credit cards denied within two minutes. They should fix their system. Otherwise the Hotel was wonderful

    Location is close to grand central station. You could walk from station to this hotel. The connection of wi fi is good.

    My paper bag that I leave at concierge is almost lost if I didn't ask the staff hotel.

    Let's start wit the good: location - that's it - a couple blocks from Grand Central and within whispering distance of every major Manhattan subway line - but you can say that about at least 100 hotels.

    Reserved a Junior Suite and pre-paid, which you think the hotel would appreciate the customer making the commitment of pre-paying with no refund possible - they have the offer - you would think they'd appreciate that. But no, they use it as an opportunity to fill the worst, most run down rooms in the hotel in the worst locations at $400 per night! If this hotel is 4 stars, then I should get a few dates with some starlets, because I am some kind of weird conglomeration of Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp (but taller) and George Clooney! My requirements were simple for $400/night - Junior Suite, clean and quiet is essential (I am in NY on business travelling from California and a light sleeper). I get into the room and immediately wanted to change but was told "nothing else was available" (thee usual mantra). The room was dirty - flat out filthy - I had to clean everything. There was a space at the top of the curtain of an extremely high window (high ceilings are nice except in this instance) which doesn't seem like a big deal, but when I tried to go to sleep and turned out the lights, there was a light streamlining into my window, and it came through the opening and fanned out across the top of the bed at pillow level - like trying to sleep under a spotlight. I tried to have it fixed thee next day and while I asked 3 times, the engineering guy (whatever) never showed up, so it went without being remedied. Don't ever stay on the 4th floor of this hotel - it's also apparently a service floor, so people were coming in and out of the stairwell all night, letting the door swing and slam shut behind them. It was like bombs going off all night at odd moments. There was also a connecting room to my room, and the door with a big space at the bottom leading to the bathroom in the room next door (!!!) so not only could you hear every single thing the people were talking about in their room, but the hairdryer and other odd and not so odd bathroom...
