It is very nice, clean and central hotel. Staff is excellent and very helpful
If I have to say something is the heater in the room ( or too hot or too cold) but you can easily survive
I loved the staff!!
Wifi was not good and the food was not good at all.
LOCATION: Arrived at Grand Central and taking 5 am shuttle to JFK next day and price were my reasons for choosing Dylan, but would stay there for any reason now..an excellent experience.
They didn't have the slippers and robe or the I pod deck radio that was in the amenities and the queen room was much smaller then it appeared in the picture
Location is great Rooms decent size
My room was not cleaned for two days Not enough Staff in the lobby Lines to ask questions Staff need to be more knowledgeable
Excellent location, within easy walking distance of UN and midtown amenities. Front desk was welcoming and very flexible in agreeing to a late checkout. Room was cosy and comfortable, public areas attractive.
Street-facing room suffered from a lot of night-time noise from garbage trucks, delivery vans etc. Room was extremely dark, not least because I had to keep the curtain closed to conserve heat on a midwinter visit. (Better window insulation needed!)
Clean room; good size room; friendly staff; excellent location.
The coffee pot were not plugged in, can't locate the outlet at the mini bar location. The shower drain was clogged, the water backed-up. The room were not made up when we return to the room at 4:30pm.
The marble bathrooms are quite stunning.
Furnishings are dated and falling apart
The staff are very friendly and helpful. They give the guests chocolate every night!
Everything was better than anticipated!!
Location location location
slow service, old fashioned, constantly having to ask for coffee for room as only one pod per day and working in room I need 3!!!! Easier to go to starbucks on the corner which is what they expect you to do I think.
I was very surprised with this hotel because it was so cheap for New York. The room was excellent and I had a view of the Chrysler building. Bed was very comfortable and the wifi was flawless.
Staff were just okay. House keeping forgot to refill my toilet paper a few nights in a row - I had to use tissues. Front desk staff weren't overly helpful and one staff member was rude.
The location is great, you can't get to every where in the city, by taking the subway on the grand central station.
loved the location, price, staff, room even the coffee maker in the room! totally schwanky cute place but not pretentious. will absolutely stay again, but not in a room that's on the front side of the hotel, especially not in room 401.
didn't like that the garbage trucks were out all night. no rest for the weary. don't stay in room 401. and the sheets could have been softer. if I was able to sleep, I probably wouldn't have cared that they were stiff.
The location is fantastic.
The bed was very uncomfortable for me, but if you like super soft beds, you may like it.
the location was great and the room very good. for the price and the amount o time we sped in the room it was an excellent value!
the HVAC in the room was not great, it was very hot and the CATV had some problems.
Starbucks on the corner.
The hotel is old, the staff is not accommodating for changes, there is lack of order upon check in, the rooms have old furniture, the bathroom was not clean, the front of the hotel had caution tape but didn't appear to be under construction. I will never stay there again.
An overall solid experience. Friendly people, good wifi, nice bed and awesome location. Nothing fancy but good quality.
Location was good. Bathroom was nice and clean. Room was good size. Good value.
The room was too hot. The buffet food the second day looked like the food leftover from the day before. Couldn't use the computer because there was a guy sleeping in the chair right next to computer desk.
Location was the most important for us, especially since we had a very early appointment the next morning. The staff at the concierge desk was very pleasant and friendly both when we signed in and out.
nothing negative to report
Location very good, staff very pleasant, amenities great, room very clean all in all a very nice place to stay.
Nothing really to criticize was pleasantly surprise based on some reviews that I read before my visit.
To many bits of info in room
Location was perfect! Literally easy walking distance to Times Square, Rockafeller, 5th ave, Radio City. It's all right there.
The furniture in room a bit tacky
Rooms are OK, location is pretty good, and I liked the fact that the Benjamin restaurant is at the hotel.
There is no concierge, front desk staff was not very efficient, heating system is old and hard to control, the shower is awful, and it was pretty expensive.
