The internet works well
The staff is unhelpful, even when they see someone alone trying to get 3 bags to the lobby through an access without a ramp. Furniture is old, stained and pealing, you can feel the springs in the mattress. TV has few channels and most don't work (told the front desk and they did nothing. The $13 buffet breakfast is a joke, it's a scarce continental breakfast that should be included.
Location , room was cleaned properly
Staff not very interested , if you are OK or not ,cards did not work ,two of them ,could not get in my room ,room very dark ,in need of refurbishment...
Very helpful and nice staff, perfect location and comfortable rooms.
Nothing to nag about
Room temperature was not possible to tune.
The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean; we also enjoyed the "heritage" feel of the Dylan
We started with a room on the 16th floor which did not have working temperature control. On the second night, the room went up to over 90 F which of course was almost unbearable. The staff was unable to fix the problem and did offer to move us to another room for the rest of the stay. Some kind of compensation was in order, but none was offered.
Stuff, helpless, they knew nothing, give wrong info Wrong directions
The staff and location
The room furnishing
The location was perfect. Just out of the way of the business of the city but a short walk to Times Square and Grand Central
The staff were not very polite or accomodating. I was disturbed several times in my room because they did not manage their paperwork properly.
I stay at the Dylan Hotel often...it's definitely one of my top three favorites from the all of the hotels I frequent. The rooms, and the hotel in general, are absolutely lovely. The staff is very friendly and helpful. When I stay at the Dylan, I know that I will be well taken care of.
The area itself is excellent.
Cracks in the bathroom ceiling.
NYC hotels are very expensive. This hotel was good for the price, considering that you are in NYC. Location is great.
It was dimm.
I loved the complimentary hot apple cidar with brandy in the evenings. Nice after a cold day.
Great location. Big and comfortable room. Very clean. Quiet room except for the first night where I could benefit from the cries of kids in the room closed to mine. I enjoyed the breakfast served in the hotel as well as the food from Benjamin restaurant. Friendly staff.
Great location, lovely spacious clean room. Robe and slippers and free wifi. Great city views. Comfy bed and jacuzzi bath.
Some slightly dodgy looking wiring and the drinks making facilities only catered for coffee.
its about tine for a refurbishment of the rooms.
The personnel on the staff were very friendly and helpful with street directions.
The curtains were drawn all the time I was in the room because my room faced an office building nearby. I guess that couldn't be helped. But there was no natural lighting.
Location was great for a quiet stay an central to sights.Staff were the best part! Very helpful, more than happy to help!
The rooms could do with a makeover! Lots of wasted space .
Friendly and helpful staff. Easy access to transport and some places of interest within easy walking distance.
Both lifts out of service on the same day. I don't the breakfast was good value for money.
Good location. Good restaurant in the hotel.
Room very small. And very dark. Must keep curtain drawn because of room facing office building so close..
Excellent location by Bryant park, great for shopping and good food & coffee. The hotel gave me a free upgrade to a corner king bed room. Really nice and spacious (which is unusual for NYC) Bathroom is bright and updated. Great for value all in all.
The blue blanket over the bed looks quite old, since it's decorative so I just put it aside, but it's not something I'd want to sleep under. There's a heat control panel in the room, but it doesn't seem to be working too well. Room was a little on the cold side.
I appreciate Oat who works at the front desk always taking excellent care of me when I stay at the Dylan. The manager is very nice as well.
The ironing board in my room was broken and would not stand up. I ironed using it on the floor.
Very clean, good location, quiet
Key door was jammed had to replace room key multiple times for a one night stay. Room smaller than expected.
Location, staff, price.
Room size was perfect. Very cleAn and comfortable. Excellent location near all public transportation. Staff super friendly
Not a bad experience but the TV offerings were a little limited but this is really a minor thing.
Besides the location it was roomy
Didn't have a tub in any of the smoking rooms and the cable not working properly
