New and clean
Shower was not strong enough
- staff - elevator is ringing at each floor when you are in the elevator - morning breakfast - had to wait 50 minutes to get 2 boiled eggs - sink was leaking in the 2 rooms we rented
Great location close to the World Trade Centre & 9/11 memorial. The immediate area is clean and modern and feels safe. Very close to the Hudson river. You can see the Statue of Liberty from the roof top bar. Short walk to nearest subway station.
The view was very nice, the modern amenities in the room were appreciated and we felt so comfortable from check in to check out that we have added it to our top 3 hotel stays.
No pool, no hotel parking
Great location, super service, clean hotel
New and modern hotel
Lots of noise from the contrutions arrund all the night! We cant sleap decentely during all3 days.
bedlinen and separate wet room great when with a family. Also loved the ability to screen off areas and the LED lights which gave enough light to see in the night but not enough to wake anybody
I objected to being charged $15 because a fourth person accessed the wifi (for about 1 minute) until I told them I would be charged, On a $550 bill only a small amount but it really left a bad taste in my mouth and one of my kids felt really bad about the charge. As a result of all construction nearby it was also a bit noisy
having to pay for wifi. asking the front desk for a US adapter 3 times before anyone bothered.
the rooms were spacious and comfortable. the staff was courteousy and pleasant. the rooftop bar was a huge plus. the location though far was discrete and sexy.
the lack of choice for parking. its a bit far from the city's attractions.
Had some plumbing issues, called the front desk who said they would take care of it immediately, but never did in the next 5 hours before checkout.
room is tidy and big, bathroom and bedroom are super good, like the bed it's so soft!!
there is no free wifi !
Location, room size, amenities
The hotel had a 'boutique' feel about it and the location was surprisingly convenient despite being quite a distance away from Midtown. The subway was only a short walk away, views over the water were very nice and it was quiet at night which made for a good night's sleep. The breakfast menu had something for everyone, highly recommend the pancakes! Kids loved the fact that Shake Shack was just outside the hotel.
The location was only a problem when you were unable to take the subway and had to get there and back from Grand Central as the taxi will almost always encounter traffic which makes for quite a long and expensive taxi ride.
Lobby is nice and clean Staff is super frendly
Breakfast was very expensieve for twice nothing
Spacious, high quality rooms. Nice to come 'home' to after a busy day sightseeing. Great bars and restaurants nearby.
Mini bar prices. Why? Who buys that stuff? $10 for a bottle of Stella at the roof bar. Roof bar was a bit too small.
Location was fantastic, right next to the world trade centre and such am easy wall to all Downtown attractions - Wall St, Trinity Church etc. Rooms are very nice, hotel overall is very nice and clearly new. Roof top bar has fantastic views across the Hudson.
Not much to dislike. It was fairly expensive, and therefore maybe not the best value for money.
Roof top bar shut during the day - it could be used during the day for coffee & snacks. Bigger variety for "included " breakfast.
Great location & staff were excellent - always willing to help and everything happened so easliy & without fuss. Very professional but friendly. Would stay again without hesitation.
Spacious, modern, located in a great area of Manhatten. Loved it!
Hotel was fantastic. Staff very helpful. Brilliant gym facilities. Breakfast had a good choice and was very nice. Beds the most comfortable I have slept in. Fantastic location in Battery City. Would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be staying again when I return to New York.
Very welcoming environment and staff, especially the "chamber maids" nothing was too much for them. The turn down service was such a treat, with the little extras like the glass and water by the bed at night and the little note of the next days weather being a personal treat of mine
Sort out the wifi fees mennn?! How can such a top notch establishment charge for wifi in this day and age???
Location, great room, very helpful concierge, view over the river
Shower only albeit massive, there was no bath
