Good price Nice breakfast menu
Location to shopping
Restaurant breakfast Staff!!! Reall bad!
The hotel is modern and very comfortable. It is located a short distance to a subway which allows you to visit other parts of Manhattan.
The staff were efficient but not friendly compared to other hotels in New York.
Great location - next to the Hudson river, a small park, World Trade Center, and the ferry building. Exceptional standard room - sliding opaque glass partitions create separate bedroom, bar / bath area, and living room. Extensive use of oak in furnishings - added a softness to the nice contemporary decorating. Supremely quiet + river view. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.
Lack of vending machines.
Layout of the suites, more than ample square footage, rainfall shower head, comfortable bed and linens, attention to detail. Service provided by staff, anticipation of needs, valet service all excellent.
Sensor in wet bar. Moved a bottle to read the label and was charged.
Nothing. New York has many great hotels, this is not one of them.
With the exception of the cleaners, every other member of staff we encountered on our seven day trip was rude and useless. Took three attempts and two days to get our breakfast vouchers (which were included in the room rate!). Concierge refused to help with several requests, restaurant staff were regularly arguing with guests and the door staff are the rudest I have ever seen. They even insisted we carry our own bags down flights of stairs but wanted a tip for calling us a cab!
The bed & suite was excellent
Paid wifi...???? At a 5* hotel u would expect wifi as standard... Also what is the breakfast voucher about? U hv either paid for breakfast or not
The room was lovely and location good, however the memories we have are not good due to their deceit...
The Conrad has a pending hold on $1497 (US $) of our money as they had been given 2 credit cards on arrival, due to one being declined. When we arrived back at the hotel the second day we had a message to attend reception as their records showed no funds being held by them for our room? Our room had not been cleaned either?? We were assured that the funds were being held and they had made a mistake? The next day they put a hold on the declined credit card for 3 different amounts thus tieing up and extra $1497 (US$) of our spending money, with no authorisation. We were unaware of this until we tried to use the credit card only find out Conrad had pending funds held on both our credit cards?? One of which was spending money for our honeymoon? When we spoke to them they assured us that the additional funds held had been released..no explanation as to why they had taken the extra money with no authorisation? This was on Tuesday. It is now Saturday and the funds still have not been released?? Not happy!
Having visited many times over the years I was concerned about being in a hotel so far downtown but in fact it was the best thing I could have done. The rates were reasonable the hotel was immaculate and an easy walk to the nearest metro.
would have liked a larger menu at the restaurant.
Staff were fantastic, room was spacious and immaculate, the food was very good, the view was great and the bed was extremely comfortable! We loved it and would definitely stay again.
Inside confort of the hotel, gym and restaurant confort. Location. In a strategic point in the WTC.
We booked for USD 1,700. for a week. 3 people. Suite Deluxe Room, They say is for 4 people. it´s a lie. There´s no meals included, we just took one breakfast, no car so; no valet. Final Check Out USD 2.045
Layout of hotel michelyn class resteraunt staff will help with anything
Very well located , comfortable, modern room, friendly staff , good quality price, whole foods near.Excellent!
- perfect location - sizeof the appartment - confort
-sevices : average for a 5 star hotel - no swimming pool - small gym
Would definitely recommend this hotel. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. I don't drink coffee and so asked reception if it was possible to get a kettle, tea bags and milk instead of the coffee machine in our room. Within five minutes it was delivered to our room with a cheerful smile. The size of the room was great. You had the option to sit in the 'lounge' area with a big flat screen TV or watch TV in your bed with a second big flat screen TV. Breakfast was great. Lots of choice and all freshly made to order. The portions were just right and we never once left feeling hungry. Really glad we chose this hotel.
Beautiful big room, very comfortable, and location close to waters and ground zero.
I Am annoyed that After two days the hotel has still not managed to put back the deposit etc on my credit card. Shouldn't take this long.
Despite being told that the Conrad was a little out the way, we loved the location. Away from the craziness of Times Square, it was lovely to go back to our hotel without having to push past thousands of people to get there. The subway was a short 5 minute walk from the hotel. Underneath the hotel were a bagel shop (serving every type of bagel), where we ate breakfast every day and a lovely selection of restaurants, if you wanted to stay local. The staff were very helpful and did everything they could if we asked a question or for some advice. We loved it at Conrad and would definitely recommend staying there.
The one negative was the fact you had to pay for Wi-Fi. In New York, you can walk into a Starbucks or McDonalds and get internet for free but unfortunately this was not the case at our 5* hotel.
Clean, spacious, great bathroom, comfy bed. Staff very helpful.
Friend had contacted concierge to arrange for special surprise during our stay because it was our 10th anniversary and was told it would be arranged...never happened? A little out of the way from uptown, but nice and quiet at the end of long day. $60/day parking
Room was very comfortable and proved to be a welcome oasis of calm to return to in the evening after each exhausting day of sight-seeing. The location provides a wonderful view of the Hudson and the Manhattan skyline.
This is an expensive hotel to stay at so it is a shame that wifi is not free.
The room was spacious and clean and having a suite was really useful. The view of the hudson river was worth paying extra for and the actual hotel was beautiful. The shower was also the best I have used in a hotel ; powerful and spacious!
The breakfast system!!! Firstly the wait for nearly an hour to be seated was unacceptable for a five star hotel. The token system of $20 per person for breakfast was a struggle to choose something within the allowance having to pay extra for the 'complimentary' breakfast every day and made breakfast a very bitter affair.
Very modern, clean comfortable hotel. Well located to the attractions like WTC, South Pier (for Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island). Polite staff, especially good cleaning service.
Very long waiting time to be seated for breakfast- even up to 1 hour sitting in the lobby if you went down after 8.30 AM. The explanation given by the hotel was that it is Xmas but this is the first time when I experienced such a situation.
The location was very nice . The staff was very helpful . The rooms were by far the biggest that we stayed at compared to trump soho and the Waldorf . It's a must stay !!
room-size, big bathroom with separate shower, nice and helpful staff, the concierge, beds, 2 TVs
the bar is closing very early
