Everything - moved here after a bad night's stay at the Hampton Inn Times Sq Manhattan. The location is great for the WTC and Brooklyn . Mid Town and Uptown are easily accessible with the station only a few minutes walk away. Good selection of restaurants close by.
Sheets were very nice and bed/pillows were very comfortable. Plenty of places to eat around the hotel.
Check-in was quick; however, the Lady that checked us in was a bit condescending. Also, we did not consume anything from the minibar, but we were charged for it. Apparently, when you open the fridge, you are charged, whether or not you consume their items. The price per night was more than the accommodations were worth. I called the front desk to ask where the ice machine was located. I was told there was not an ice machine on our floor. I waited on the phone for more information, but the the front desk was silent. I then had to ask them where I could get I could get ice from then. They told me they would bring a bag up to the room. When the ice did not show up after an hour, I went to bed. My husband called back down to ask if they could bring ice to the room. The gentleman that he talked to was rude to him, but they eventually brought the ice to the room.
Close enough to the nearest subway stations (2-3 blocks). Very quiet area. Right next to 9/11 memorial and museum. At walking distance from Battery Park and the ferries. Also a short walk from Chinatown and Little Italy
very personable staff, bar and restaurant excellent. very attentive to all our needs.
Suite Design Staff
Strong attention to detail, from architecture to creature comforts. Lovely dinner experience onsite.
Didn't care for non-traditional wall between water closet and sitting area.
overpriced and no breakfast taxes not included in these prices ....beware people ....
Absolutely nothing about the hotel whatsoever
Miserable staff in restaurant, grumpy service. noisy rooms, no facilities other than one bar cum restaurant. no comfortable public areas at all, odd layout of rooms, misclassified as suites. trays and room service debris constantly littering the corridor some left out for 18 hours.
Spacious room, river view, attention to detail in design, comfort.
Receiving 87 cents as change was odd. Had I been the accountant for such a luxurious hotel, I would see to it that the staff could simply give 1 dollar as change to the customer who paid over 300 a night. The inclusive breakfast was a joke as it consisted of 3 pieces of pastry and butter. You need to pay for a decent one.
Staff were very friendly, no issue with locating a room with a pull out sofa bed for our 8 year old. Swapped his breakfast choice no issues when he didn't like his first choice. The shops behind the hotel made for easy time with room treats, but the water and ice left every evening did make a difference! The location only one block from ground zero made it all very easy- no stress or hassle from the hotel. We tried ice skating at the Brookfield place only 5 mins away. Also beside the express road to get uptown relatively quickly. All in all great stay
This is a very modern hotel with great staff and facilities, but the feel is really a business one rather than a tourist one. We tried to get info on hop on hop off bus but no information was available, and the decor and minimalist feel lacked the holiday feeling...the red light in the reception area at night from blue in day was the most my son commented on.
quiet and comfortable place to stay.
The rooms were fantastic, beds comfortable, shower great , staff lovely and everywhere very clean
That we had to leave
We loved the attention to detail throughout our stay. When we came home for the evening, we found that the blinds in our bedroom had been closed. The bathrooms, specifically the showers, were great! The rooftop bar was cool- the bartender even gave us blankets on the windy night we sat out there.
One thing I didn't like was the automated mini bar - some people I travel with, and I won't name names, like to pick things up and check them out before realizing they're being charged to the room. The front desk was very helpful though, and didn't charge us after seeing everything was unopened and back in its right place.
This is my 10th visit to NYC and the Conrad did not disappoint. Wow views of the Hudson River so much so that I didn't ever want to close the blinds. Breakfast was incredible. Pretty much everything about this hotel screams 5*

the design of the lobby and the specious suite.
very impolite staff
Location Great bathroom Clean Comfortable bed Accommodating staff
Weird decor Coffee machine broken
Room, cleanliness, staff, location. This hotel is beautiful. The rooms are huge and very comfortable. The area is perfect.
Long walk from the room to the front door. The hotel is so big. But that was minor compared to the good things.
Good quality rooms, very comfortable beds, friendly and helpful staff.
We didn't touch much, just a half bottle of wine from the mini bar, one tea and coffee and a few extras for breakfast. But touch anything and it costs a LOT. For example, $15 per day just for wifi - a total rip-off when other hotels in the Hilton chain offer a basic wifi for free. There isn't a buffet style breakfast like most hotels, effectively you get to chose from a small list of options or get $20 per person per day as a credit against the main breakfast menu. Can be a queue to get a table for breakfast, wait times up to 15 minutes were quoted.
The hotel looks new. It's a suite so meaning it's relatively spacious.
The valet parking is not complementaty and cost me 65 dollars per night. And we waited 40 mins for the concierge to bring the car over! Totally rediculous. The water of the shower room is not even hot. I waited 25 mins for it to turn hot. It is not a five star hotel service, because I find it very hard to reach the front desk when I call them. Sometimes they simply don't pick up the phone.
Spacious room, good location
Elevators unreliable, Strange opening policy of rooftop bar, Even concierge didn't know about
Great entrance and reception, view from the room (15th Floor) on the Hudson just magical, large room with all you need (perfect shower, nespresso, separate living area). Good food & drinks in bar and restaurant, just watch out early closing (no diner after 10? Just snacks at bar)
No free wifi
