I brought a disabled client to Joseph and wish we could have stayed longer at Eagle Cap! We were having difficulty getting the wheelchair into the room, but all it took was mentioning it, and sure enough! A rug was brought over and placed in front if the entrance, making access a cinch! Thank you so much! I highly recommend Eagle Cap Chalets! !
Very vriendly staff, close to Walowa Lake and the tramline
Simple room that was impeccably clean. Clean air pouring through the windows. Coffee shop and store on site.
We only got to stay one night!
Quiet and comfortable with wildlife bonus (a 4 point buck deer lounging around on the property.) The peacefulness of the place. Almost right next door to the tram up to 8,150' Mt. Howard.
Fluorescent lighting over bed were too low, so one couldn't sit up in bed without bonking your head on the wood light cover (which extended the length of the bed.)
Outside noise from other guest early in morning
The room was comfortable and rustic but not plush. We spent most of our time at Joseph and Enterprise. Saw lots of wildlife.
Driveway up to rooms was not marked well and rather rough. Rooms were not handicapped accessible.
We liked everything.Nice people and staff.
Lack of parking
Convenient location, friendly and helpful staff
not a lot of parking.
The helpful staff
Parking was a little quirky
clean & quite
shower water control was worn out, no paper towels, need more light or bigger bulbs
Excellent location, walking distance to most places.
Hot tub was under maintenance, minor detraction.
Excellent location to everything on the south end of Wallowa Lake.
2nd Floor room above us in Chalet section has a spa, and the noise when being used makes the room almost uninhabitable. Front desk helped to ensure it wasn't being used after 10pm, but still...very poor design.
Charming rooms, we'll appointed.
Bed was hard
It was a clean, comfortable room. It felt cozy and private, had a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. TV had many channels to choose from.
There was a slight odd smell when I first walked in (mid-winter so probably sat vacant for a while).
We had the honey moon sweet. Very secluded, off the beaten path, and private.
