I stayed in a two bedroom apartment with my children for two weeks so my daughter could attend a ballet school in NYC. We took the PATH train into the city and made it to mid-town in front of Macy's Herald Square in about 20 minutes. Our apartment had spectacular views of New York and was very quiet and peaceful for rest a night. I plan on staying there every time I go to New York!
Needs a better toaster and a new can opener.
Excelent appartment for the family
Previous guests floaded wooden floor in the leaving room, so upon arrivat it was wet and partially destroyed. There was no info for us about it, no apologies - that is unusual
What was not to like! The view was terrific and the apartment was so handy for the PARH train - everything was right on the doorstep and couldn't have been better.
Great location and awesome views.
Large apartment, including the kitchen. Modern appliances. Great views of Manhattan island. Close to shopping mall and supermarkets. Close to PATH train.
Perfect location for visiting NYC; very close to PATH and Newport Mall; great view (Manhattan); very comfortable and clean apartment with everything you need
Elevators very crowded - some waiting time at 'rush hours'

We loved it! Beautiful view on the 33th floor! Only 15 minutes to get to the city! Very comfortable!
I only had a little problem with the bathroom..wasn't that clean i expected.
Great views, comfortable apartment, close to PATH station and Newport Mall. Quiet location. Duane Reade Pharmacy and supermarket close by. Easy to get to NYC via PATH. Definitely recommended.
No luggage storage on site, so wasted last day of stay, just a couple of apartments belonging to Sky City in a residential block. WTC PATH station closed on weekends in 2014 so difficult arrival. TV/ Cable sometimes didn't work. Taxi to JFK 120 dollars. Nearest supermarket is expensive, the one near the Mall is further but much better.
i liked the view of manheten. the calm atmosphire after the intesivenes of manheten. it's a very good solution for people who are looking for a big apartment and fair price. and close eanough to manheten. not a big problem getting there.
Very close to the Path. New and clean. Complete kitchen. Nice views (even if they were not the ones advertised in Booking.com).
No staff. It is a building with apartments, so the only contact with the staff is through phone. The sofa-bed in the living room is very uncomfortable.
It was an apartment. It had a stove, high speed internet, more cable channels than a hotel. Also loved that there was no hotel staff
only issue was late night access. I work for a Telecom company and had to do late night work. When I attempted to get to my room @ 4 AM, i needed a key fob. No key fob provided. Luckily I was able to get in
The spectacular view from both the lounge and bedroom. I enjoyed the safe feeling of the neighbourhood and the close proximity to Manhattan via the Path transport system.
Great appartement and view. Good facilities for cooking and dining. Easy transport to Manhattan. Good nearby shopping in the mall and supermarket. Nice running at waterfront with 5 km Manhattan view.
Nothing really, but we could have used a larger pot for cooking lobsters and spaghetti.
All presented at Sky Cyti site was 100% true. beautiful view of NY, better than if I had stayed on the island. Finely decorated. I had a particular problem and the Skycyti Agent treated me great courtesy and eficiciencia in my language and help to soolve my questin. Very clean.
It would be interesting to have a laundry card available
Can’t say enough amazing things about my stay in Sky City Jersey City, New Jersey. This was an unbelievably fortuitous and random find on a travel website; I will stay in this and other Sky City properties any time I am in one of the cities they service. Sky City is a hidden gem in location, value , view and apartment condition , and quality and responsiveness of their management staff. Location: Admittedly, I was initially put off by the idea of staying in Jersey City rather than my usual midtown digs. However, my dates overlapped with that of the un Conference, adweek etc. and Manhattan hotel prices were through the roof! I almost decided not to come to nyc given the outrageous $700 and up rates for regular rooms in 3.5 star hotels. Again, never having stayed on the New Jersey side of the Hudson, I was worried that it might be too hard and expensive to get to the city. So glad, I gave it a try. There was a train station, literally a two-minute walk from the front door. NThe ferry was also within a mile , making entering the city at any time, effortless. Moreover, it was located within three minutes walk of a dog park, a big gym, a liquor store and high-end grocery store, a drug store and a huge mall. The Newport area its is very new and clean . It is also extremely safe at all hours of the night since it is populated by young families, business professionals and students. You could walk outside in the middle of the night feeling totally safe. Quality of Apartment :This apartment was almost larger than my own home in Seattle; it was 1000 sq ft or larger and featured two bedrooms and bathrooms, a huge kitchen and full dining room. Furniture was beautiful and well maintained place came stocked with anything you might need on your stay including vacuums and nice entertainment system. It was also nice to have laundry on every floor.
the amazing view of lower manhattan from the apartment
the building is packed! very busy area
Self Service. Walking distance Grocery & close Restaurants. Lovely Waterfront for jogging.
For business, lousy signals for web & cellular receptions, No office service(I.E.doc. Printout is null). Found cockroaches between kitchen dishes and bathroom, took 2 pictures. Dogs smell and flea exist. No parking at all. Parking cost per day 20-40 USD$.
Spacious clean apartment in a superb location with panoramic views of Manhattan. Friendly and helpful staff who responded efficiently and quickly to any issues. Good local dining and easy transport links to NYC
Some renovation work in the main building reception area but this was a very minor issue
Great! We stayed on the 21st floor and had a great view of Manhattan. We went to sleep with the view and woke up with it in the morning. The location was superb, very close to the PATH train. Quiet neighborhood, very clean. Close to Newport Mall including cinema, restaurants and well assorted supermarket. Friendly concierges. Shirley, Aruba
The place is well done.
It is expensive.
1. Easy to access NYC - two stops to World Trade Center. The subway stop is at the living area, 2 min walk from our building. 2. Very quiet and safe area. 3. A huge mall is at the corner of the area and a supermarket is at another corner! 4. We were so lucky to get an apartment with fantastic view of Manhattan.
No. Would like to stay there again!
