The hotel has a really good location (lower east side, a few blocks from china town and little italy), just next to the f train which brings you directly to the center of Manhattan. The staff was really helpfull and friendly, very customer-orientated. They were all just perfect. The rooms are a little bit small but perfect if you'll just be at the hotel for sleeping. The hotel is on a big road, but you hear no noice at all from the cars, that was really good. The roof terrace has an amazing view on the skyline of nyc with a lot of tables and benches. Near the hotel you have a supermarket, restaurants, pharmacy and bars. Again thank you to the reception and hk for making our stay unforgettable, you are the best!!! Room 305 Charlotte & Laurent Unfortunately breakfast is not served at the hotel, but there is a place called "sugar" at a 2 min walk from the hotel. You can sit there or order "to go" and eat then at the roof terrace of the hotel while enjoying the nice view.

Excellent hotel in the heart of the lower east side. So close to all of the great restaurants/food outlets if you want a real taste of NYC. The roof top area was an absolute plus for fantastic skyline views of NYC. So close to the subway and soho if you are a keen shopper and the staff at the hotel were always on hand and friendly. The room was great and clean - no issues. Great hotel and you get value for money here! Nothing

Love the convenience to the subway (just around the corner), nice staff, quiet roof top deck, decent sized room. There was a continental breakfast last time I stayed, and it was done away with. The staff member at the front desk said it was cost prohibitive. He mentioned that the hotel got a liquor license and a bar was possibly going in on the rooftop deck. PLEASE leave the quiet, relaxing deck as is! It was so nice to come back to and unwind after a crazy day on the city!

The rooftop view cannot be beat & it's in an awesome location. Definitely worth the price for NYC. And the shower was super fancy. Nothing!

The only thing I liked was the location, because it was near friends' apt. Thus the convenience. The room was extremely small, even for just a couple. The bed was too low for more mature people as I. The room was not cleaned daily. Only the towels, soap, sheets were replaced, and the bed made.

This is a great location for a base to look around the city. The hotel is clean and has a really nice roof terrace with a great view of the city. From what I could see from looking around other hotels, this is a reasonably priced hotel for New York. There is free wifi with good connections. There's a nice Tapas bar just next door which offers 10% off for guests at this hotel. The hotel staff were all friendly and helpful and were happy to help with questions we had on locations around the city. They also allow you to leave your bags after checkout for no extra charge which was good as allowed us longer in the city. The room is very small. The air condition wasn't very good but the room was a comfortable temperature as it wasn't too hot outside. The bathroom has one frosted glass wall instead of a solid wall so if you'd prefer privacy this isn't great as the room is so small.

Great location for the cool East Village and right next to the subway. Great looking design. Excellent roof terrace. Very helpful and friendly staff. Cheap laundry service. Free wi-fi! Not really a complaint but it could get noisy outside. Didn't really bother us though. Could have done with more hangers in the small cupboard.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. Very convenient location near the f line. It was nice to have a place to get a cup of tea/coffee during the day and a beautiful rooftop patio to enjoy it. The room was smaller than we expected (2 of us). Also, the textured glass wall between the bathroom and the bedroom is stylish (very European) but does not give one much privacy. That took a little getting used to.

Staff on reception were very helpful. Recommended a place to eat, helped us with directions when we needed to get to the airport the next day. Roof terrace is cute, especially in the sun. Whilst the room was nice, it was very noisy in the morning from road traffic.

Staff were very helpful, we got a complimentary upgrade to the 6th floor instead of the 2nd- the view was amazing! It happened to be our last night in NYC & was a great way to finish it off by staying with you.
