The amenities were all I needed and the room was pristine.
Not much other than getting use to that part of NYC
Kind helpful staff, clean rooms with all the amenities, perfect location. Amazing roof top terrace! Would stay again in a New York minute and recommend to travellers!
The location is great Could walk to eveything in the lower east side.
The rooms are very small. But for the price I guess is comparable with NYC.
Tiny rooms but if all your doing in it is sleeping, it's fine
location was very good and the staff was excellent .
the rooms were small with even smaller bathrooms....the price was high but, I do not travel to NYC that much. Had to go to basement for coffee instead of lobby.
We love the staff. They were helpful, patient and knowledgable. The location is very good, being close to Broadway and to Canal Street.
Rooms are small
Stylishly designed and furnished, this hip hotel in the hippest section of New York has a rooftop with a spectacular skyline view of the city. The rooms are of necessity small in this congested neighborhood. Breakfast is included. the staff is right on top of your every necessity. You won't spend much time inside. the attractions are outside the hotel.
The amenities are few. No restaurant or exercise space. Like every other resting place in town, it's incredibly expensive.
The room and bath were comfortable and clean. Just the right size for a good sleep and quick shower while enjoying time visiting the Big Apple ! Staff was delightful. Well priced. Good value.
No vending machine for soda. No ice machine.
The staff were so helpful and friendly they went out of there way to help. The location was perfect and the Wholefoods shop nearby was wonderful especially for breakfast I loved going back to the hotel rooftop for breakfast. The shower and the bathroom was spacious and luxurious.
everything was great
My recent trip marked my 3rd stay at hotel East Houston over the space of 5 years. I am pleased to say that each stay has been more enjoyable than the last. Rooms are acceptable, little on the smaller side but that's never bothered me and bathrooms are always clean and inviting. Staff are great, they offered to arrange my transportation to the airport without me even having to ask. Very professional. Great place that won't break your budget in a cool location.
The rooms are small, but that's typical for NYC. They were clean and well appointed. The staff was friendly. The hotel is close to a lot of fun bars and restaurants, even a Whole Foods. I highly recommend it.
Great location, helpful staff, and the roof terrace was amazing - even better you could take your own food and drink up there 24/7. Not cheap, but one of the better value options in NY.
Some bits of furniture could do with a bit of a touch-up, many of the tables / chairs had a slightly neglected feel
The hotel room is organized very efficiently. Bathrooms are clean and just the right size. Quiet rooms, even with road construction on the corner. A great place to get some sleep!
Convenient location Nice clean hotel Very friendly staff
No breakfast available
Loved the location, the staff was friendly and helpful and the rooftop deck was absolutely lovely. Our room was small but nice and comfortable.
My only complaint is that the bathroom had a floor to ceiling window to the bedroom, which was a bit uncomfortable when one of us had to use the restroom.
My room and view
Quiet, relaxing, friendly staff
No drinks available in the room, nice coffee room downstairs but carrying drinks back upstairs a bit awkward
Location Air Conditioning Cleanliness
No fridge Can see my significant other go pee through the bathroom glass
The location of the hotel was nice and they have a roof top area with a nice view of the city.
The room was very small, the bathroom was nice but had a glass wall which gives no privacy. The shower door was not sealed and leaked whenever you took a shower.
The evening manager was very welcoming, pleasant, profesional and accommodating. Modern, clean and quiet in the back of the hotel. Beautiful rooftop w a gorgeous view!
Rooms are small, cramped and dark. Lots of loud construction and road work all around hotel currently. This is temporary though as the neighborhood is being revived. The morning manager is the most un profesional, disrespectful and dillusional man I have ever experienced. After being disrespected, harassed and physically threatened by him. Refused to give his name. Refused to give a reasonable accomidation to myself who is disabled and partially paralyzed. Leaving me to get my bags down five flights of stairs to the lobby. When the police arrived, from his request to remove me from the property. The police quickly realized his insanity and he was now the one being warned of an arrest and getting served citations for multiple reasons. After the police left he actually threatened to charge my credit card with additional charges.
Smiling faces, helpful and kind people. Perfect location for my needs.
Great location for our needs... Roof top was a wonderful addition for relaxing with family and friends
Location, location, location. Walking distance to SoHo, Chinatown, and the F train is so good if you need to get to just about everywhere: Uptown, Midtown (GCT), transfer to east side and west, even Brooklyn. Other perks: the rooftop view, the local eats.
I know it's a given if you're staying in the LES area, but the noise outside on weekends; the lack of a desk in my room (I saw another room had a desk and a chair); a fridge would have been nice, since there is no dining in the hotel.
Location Housekeeping Laundry service Helpful staff 24/7
Not many TV channels Computers downstairs old & slow
Tidy & simple room just for myself for 3 nights. Roomy marble bathroom/shower. My room was on the Houston Street side on the 6th floor so I had a nice view facing the Empire State Building. Besides the sounds of traffic & the city outside, my floor was exceptionally quiet. Hotel is in very close proximity to the subway and within walking distance of many places I enjoy visiting.
I didn't necessarily mind how small the room was because I was traveling solo and didn't need a lot of space. But, had I traveled with a companion things would've been very tight in the room I booked. Food (at least snacks) and beverages on site would've been nice, but it's not like you can't walk out of the hotel right into a bar or place to eat.
