You get what you pay for, it wasn't the greatest place but it was clean and the beds were clean and comfortable, I slept all night after a long LONG drive. I love how much they love pets. We had 6 cats and a dog with us and they were great about it....
Nothing,, I paid for less features and hoopla and didn't expect much.
The coffee was good.
Not clean, everything old and shabby!
The manager of the place is a true cataracter. Very nice person who make super strong coffee and fresh blueberry muffins in the morning. And he gives you good ideas for where to go next.
Manager was nice.
Room was filthy, holes in the walls, floor was wet from water-overflow. Just a run down motel.
Everything else. Even Motel 6 has to be better than this place.
Can't say that there was much to like!
Front office very dirty, breakfast food looked like it had been setting out for several days. Floors in room were so dirty I wouldn't want to walk on it without shoes.
Really cool guy at the reception. Friendly and welcoming. Even offered us blueberry muffins in the morning.
proprietor was delightful. Room 1 is large. TV worked. Cable & /Wi-Fi. Frig & Microwave
proprietor appeared dingy. Room 1 could stand some paint. How much does a 24" cost?
The host was very friendly. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was good.
Coffee , muffins
Big room. Wifi work well. Good muffins for breakfast. Close to restaurants.
Older motel that needed remodel. Not enough electrical outlets for recharging phones. No outlets in bathroom sink area.
Friendly stuff, complimentary breakfast
IF you like to sleep in an old Motel in a dead city, then do not hesitate to book into this place!. The only advantage is the close location to SEGO canyon - I can suggest to visit that place and look at the indian paintings on the rocks!
If you do not like to sleep in an old Motel in a dead city, then try to avoid this place!
The room was clean. The beds were comfortable. It was very helpful they had a room with 3 queen beds, we had our daughter and 2 granddaughters with us and we did not have to pay for 2 rooms!
The exterior of the building was a bit run down, needed paint. Did not have street appeal, if I had not made a reservation for the 3 bed room, I would not have stopped.
The manager was nice.
Would not take a shower in the bathroom. The caulking around the bath and the tile grout was black. Bathroom was very dirty looking. Took photos to prove it. Can't believe the health board doesn't shut this place down. Food was left out all day on the counter. Wouldn't have breakfast there either.
We loved this place instantly. The room was simple, clean, pleasant, with a good fridge, TV, WiFi, airco and toiletries. We got a spontaneous upgrade so it's probably one of the better ones. The foxy smart, genuinely friendly and knowledgeable manager might come to a surprise to more conventional travellers. He's not interested in keeping appearances and has a quite unique sense of humour. We felt treated like people, not anonymous customers and the place felt like home. We immediately booked a second night. The breakfast was a real treat with home-made coffee and delicious scones hot from the oven. There's a quite unique raccoon-looking dog too with his own sense of humour. This place is excellent value for soul and will appeal to those who are looking for authentic people and experiences.
Some will object that the carpet and breakfast corner have seen better days but we didn't care. It was part of the experience and we wouldn't have missed it.
Funny personnel ;) Location is good Fast internet Good breakfast
Location Very inexpensive Very pleasant front desk Quiet street
Very, very basic Somewhat shabby, but new mattress Breakfastfoodsleft out 24/7
The WiFi worked well.
Electrical outlets didn't work. The shower didn't drain well and the water temperature was difficult to regulate. No smoke detectors. Very old place and rundown.
Muffins and coffee, rooms were comfortable.
Room was dirty. Gaps under the door where creatures could have come in. Staff not helpful. Will never go there again.
The staff was friendly and helpful.
The carpet appeared worn and dirty. The tub and bathroom was so worn and in need of repair I did not feel comfortable taking a shower.
We vere amazed by the owner and his servis - he does the best coffee in US :-) and bakes great muffins for breakfest available whole day. Room was clean and AC does not make lot of noise.
The hotel is a bit outdated and need some reparations.
cracked walls, loose sink, yellow bath iso white, mess at reception
