It smelled like a smokers room....stinky!
The continental breakfast. Location of hotel provided easy access to surrounding areas and airport. Parking was great.
The air conditioner. It was loud and would turn on and off which made it difficult at times to go into a deep sleep.
Great friendly staff...
This was my second stay at this location first stayed was good experience this time we had a few unpleasant visitors around 3 am that made our nigth not so pleasant well one of them got under my wifes sheets and did what obviously i did not like as a husband it bite her all over her body gladfully it was just one bed bug...but we notified the receptionist and she said they would not aloud anybody else stay in that room until the problem had been solve....
all around great
breakfast, was a little to simple. a real breakfast would have been a lot better
They claim we had no reservation but our booking company proved we did. The sheets were stained. The shower was hard to work. They still have a pending charge on my credit card that they keep saying they did not do. I would not stay there again or recommend it.
The main thing I liked was the location in Phoenix of the Hotel.
I really didn't like that the soda machine in the lobby took my money and everything was empty. The microwave machine was yellowed with age and the refrigerator didn't really keep the drinks I bought off site cold. and last the A.C. in the room was not that good, and completely noisy when trying to sleep it kept us both up mostly during the night. We left a night early since we really didn't want to stay another night there, that I had already paid for.
I liked the patio around the swimming pool, the rooms are OK and the staff quite helpful.
Unfortunately we had a room near the main street which was a bit noisy.
The location and accessibility were good. The breakfast was decent. The staff gave us two rooms for the first night to accommodate the need for two separate beds, then for nights two and three we got a room with two beds.
I had booked a room with two beds but initially got a room with a king sized bed. Cleanliness was only fair and the general upkeep was the same. First clerk we encountered seemed a bit uncertain.
Rooms set around a garden courtyard with fountains
Little choice of eateries within walking distance
Didn't like dog droppings in the garden. There were a lot of homeless people around. The dogs were barking of a night as it was a pet friendly motel. Don't go there
Roomy and Clean
all was done well except the breakfast menu
need to vary the morning breakfast menu for longer term residents
Everything was good
Yje pool is nice. Location was good. Staff was very friendly at the front desk!
The towles are small and old
The room and thw Jacuzzi in the room
Everything was good
Free Breakfast - Very good
Room was facing Thomas and alot of noise came in window. Ask for room not facing street and it would have been fine,
Accommodating staff met our needs. Great breakfast.
an egg alternative for breakfast
coffee maker, location
Turned on facet at sink to wash my face and water starts dripping from underneath to the point my feet were wet. Same happened when I brushed my teeth. We had already unpacked and settled in so we did not want to change rooms. Can't believe housekeeping didn't know about this leak. Next morning went to dry my hair and hair dryer did not work. My husband went to the front desk and asked for a hairdryer (8am) and told that housekeeping didn't come until 9am and she didn't have a hair dryer. When he came back and told me I called the desk and asked them to let me use a room with a working hairdryer. We had an 8:30 appointment. My husband went back to get a key and I had to walk down the outside hallway in my robe and wet hair to another room. I can't believe the front desk can't have access to housekeeeping. What if I didn't have a towel. As a matter of fact I had to use one of the towels on the floor to sop up the dripping water. Our room was "rough". Older and not in good shape, yet the room I was allowed to use for the hairdryer was remodeled and 100 % better than what we had. The hotel was NOT full that night. Couldn't have been more than 15 cars in the lot at 10pm. A nicer room would have made our experience better and it seems that we could of had that room since it had not been occupied. We stayed here because it was close to an appointment we had at 8:30. I have stayed many times at LaQuinta but I am not sure about doing it again. The desk clerk didn't even apoligize about the hair dryer problem .
Free wifi!!! Once we were told our room wasn't ready, we got an upgrade. The hotel was pet friendly. Pet friendly, pet friendly, pet friendly. We enjoyed the smell of the shampoo. The waffle makers were great! The choice to have turn down service every day or every three days was very nice. The tv in room was great. The king bed was firm but comfortable.
We had to wait for close to 20 minutes for the receptionist to show up and when she did she tried to charge us more than our reservation. Pool was closed even though tempatures were great. Our room wasn't ready on arrival. Our bathroom door didn't latch. The bathroom window had a giant bird poop on it. The parking lot had so many signs about the hotel not being responsible for cars being broke in to that I worried for my own car. I had to call for extra pillows twice. The continental breakfast hours were very short and the tables weren't wiped down for breakfast. We found one month expired yogurt in our fridge When we got there. Only one shampoo was provided but not conditioner. The tv volume was automatically turned up to 40 and was way to loud for the other channels .
