There's no staff in the evening (after 7 pm). That means that there's nobody to let you in or tell you wich room to stay in. Literally. Quite stressfull when arriving 0500 am (european time) - and the phone at the front desk is out of order and the one responsible for the room- distribution has disappearded into the friday night. Also stressfull when the (fire?)alarm goes on in the evening - and goes on for hours. The Hotel is really nice - but the staff-situation is poor. The cleaning is impeccable.

Staying at this hotel was very much like living in an apartment in nyc. It had a small kitchenette and the location was close to a grocery store, coffee shop, subway, and many restaurants.

Part-time lobby staff -- very little help available. The shower water did not warm up -- we mentioned this every day of our 5-day stay but it was not fixed.

Great location. Central to lots of restaurants and touristy things

The room had a very unpleasant smell. Getting some action from staff to deal with this was very slow and not terribly effective. Dissapointing.

The price was cheap

At the day we checked out, we were waiting for the front-desk for about 40 minutes, from 10:40AM to 11:20AM, and still, nobody came. The only phone we can call was on the front-desk. We left a paper slip which was used to prove we were able to check out before 11 and gone. Finally, I got 30 dollars extra charge.I don't know how could you charge me that without any contact？ In addition, the bed was really itchy, and even the rubbish can was full of trash when I lived in the room. It was an extremely bad experience. The only advice I can give is never, never go to this horrible hotel!

In the famous Est Village, close to restaurants, pubs aand markets. Great location. Room equipped with kitchen and dishwasher.

Staff lacking. There wasn't a table inside the room, so it was very unconfortable eating. The room was very small.

shower has got its problem. Hot shower i at between off and cold tap. At hot is extremely cold. until u fifugure out u almost check out . I informed the taff sh sid yes it is wrong installed fom bad plumber.Bad sleeping because of poor sound proof wall.

This is so clean, modern, hardwood floors, kitchenette, comfy bed, great tv, restful oasis in the city...complete with The Bean coffee shop next door with the best granola bars in America...

Not a thing!

Rooms lovely. Ample space and superb location in terms of restaurants and shopping.

All the rooms on the first floor run above the Bean coffee shop. This opens at six am and closes between twelve and 2am. Although you can't hear the coffee shop itself what you get is their music blasting up through your floor boards. Very very loud and I was not able to sleep at all until they moved my room up a level. A real shame as everything else great.

the staff was super friendly, room was clean and had a nice kitchenette, the location was nice with everything you would need withing walking distance.

We really enjoy our stay here, it's perfect, we have exactly what we needed and its location is te best to move around!!!

It's a little expensive, you don't have the common hotel services and the price is about the same than others that does

Service was almost inexistant, there was every day one different girl in the desk in the entrance. On mondays there's nobody in the "reception" (if it could be called like that) untill 11am. We checked in on sunday afternoon, and the next morning we realized there was no hot water in the shower. As there would be nobody there untill 11am I left a voice message and a note in the reception. We got back late so there was nobody again, and there was no trace of a note or a reply about the hot water issue. Tuesday morning, before checking out, I asked the girl and she said that hot water should come turning the shower tap to the direction where "cold water" was written. We tried it, and I wouldn't say it was hot water at all, only slightly warm.

lovely cozy hotel，clean.the kitchen is my favorite！feeling like living in an aprtment in NYC. lots of vintage and second hand clothes shops around.

Room is clean and spacious and trendy.

They changed the door password in the middle of my stay. I was waiting in the lobby for the staff for an hour before there is anyone answer their hotline. No one answer their email either. They never contact me even I complained to their manager by phone and by email. Zero quality. Will never stay there again!

We had a lot of luggage so the 4th floor was a problem. The air conditioning operation meant that the temperature flucatated enormously

Very cold inside (december) and very very noice aircon. Small room without any wardrobe.

Nicely designed rooms with a 'hip' feel to them. Nice little kitchenettes and really well designed bathroom. The reception was as advertised - minimal - but seemed to work well.

The first floor is right over a coffee bar that plays music - from 6:30am to 12:30am every day. Because the hotel has removed all the carpets the music came through the floors very loudly. There is no writing surface in the rooms which made the work I needed to do quite difficult. And it was cold! One heater under the window...bathroom at the other end of the room. Didn't help there was no hot water the last morning either. I did send a really nice email to alert the management to these problems but had no response. Quite irritating....

No elevator!

I loved the kitchen, the shower & the bed was sooo comfortable. Free internet was a wonderful perk!

I wish there was an elevator. Also, the room down the hall from us had a smoke detector that sounded off for about an hour or more on two nights. (4th floor)
