Eastgate Tower

Det ligger godt, men det er ikke værd at komme hjem med væggelus. Jeg havde de 3 nat ud af 7 ca 100 bid fra væggelus. Jeg henvendte mig til receptionen, men det eneste svar var: "We don't have bedbugs - what you have there is not from bedbug, that is just a rash - we have a bedbugs- programe" Idag har jeg været hos hudlægen og fået konstateret at det jeg har er 99,9% sikkert bid fra væggelus. Det er meget kedeligt at komme hjem væggelus som souvenir.

Good standard hotel with good facilities. Room was large by New York sandards and extremely comfortable. All staff were extremely helpful.

The spacious room, central location, and the friendly staff.

The room was spacious and clean, and was well maintained.

We booked a room with 2 double beds. When we checked in we were given a room with 1 king bed. We went back down to ask for a room with 2 double beds but were told that nothing could be done, and a cot was brought up. We think that not getting the room that was reserved is unacceptable.

we liked the safeness of it, friendly staff, the cleanliness, very convenient in regard to walking distance to so mant places, close to shops, and close to supermarket, feel confident to reccomend it.,

Staff very friendly and helpful. Decent location for moving around the city. Fairly close to subway.

Bedding old and uncomfortable.

the hotel is on the 39th east and 3rd avenue, which is very close to many attractions. the room we stayed at was huge and accommodated 6 people easy. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, and a big living room. Nice neighborhood. Really recommended for families who are not too picky.

The hotel is old, the room did have some unpleasant smell at times, but did not bother us too much, since it was big, and beds comfortable. They charge a huge amount of money for internet connection. beware.

I loved how large the room was. It was truly a home away from home.

Complimentary upgrade, great location, quiet building

The rooms were amazingly spacious for a New York hotel with plenty of wardrobe space. The location was quiet and provided a refuge from the hustle and bustle of the city at the end of a very long day. Staff were friendly and obliging. Eastgate provided much more than the other hotel that overlooked Times Square where we stayed for our previous visit last year.

The lack of a bar, but we knew this and you could pick up beer and wine from local stores and retire to your room for a quiet drink.

Eastgate is close to grocery store, pizza place, and major fast food chains for donuts and burgers. I liked the kitchen amenity since I was on an extended stay.

Overall, the hotel is clean, but could use some updating, especially carpet and furniture. I did not like having to pay extra for internet use - it should be included with the price.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom and the size of the room was exceptional for NYC.
