Everything- the room, the friendliness of staff, breakfast was excellent. The room was beautifully decorated and comfortable. Loved the gas fireplace w/ the timer. Couldn't have asked for a better B&B!
The relaxed atmosphere, the great breakfast, the friendly staff
All those stairs! Bed and pillows were a big
Room needs an upgrade.
Place looks closed and neglected from the outside. Smells strongly of some cheap industrial cleaning fluid Towels smelt and felt dirty Right on main road with very noisy traffic all night No sound proofing or double glazing
Tasty breakfast, but no choice
Breakfast small, with no choice. Traffic noise from highway. Rooms small and dated, very little storage. Bathroom/shower not good. Needs general update .
Great hospitality. Great breakfast
Lounge area for cup of tea and relaxing in evenings. Comfortable and clean room.
Globes not working on front sign made it little hard to find when we arrived in the dark
The owner cooks breakfast and it is different each morning. All his own recipes.
Ambience, Breakfast experience Sitting on the porch Refreshing of coffee & cookies throughout the whole day Genial host Little things all added up
Close to noisy rd
The hospitality of the owners and breakfast were very good
Room was noisy from the main road and bed was noisy and uncomfortable
Friendly host. Good company at breakfast. Great location. Country feel to the house with individual furnishings.
Shower just a small cubicle.
The Eastman Inn was just what we were looking for as we brought my parents-in-law over to the White Mountains to celebrate their 60th anniversary. The rooms were charmingly decorated, the beds very comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious! Art (innkeeper) was very gracious and helpful- he obviously enjoys visiting with his guests and helping to make their stay memorable. We would choose the Eastman Inn again!
We didn't realize when we booked the rooms that the inn had no elevator, but after a call to Art my in-laws were situated in a lovely 1st floor room where they didn't have to climb the stairs- so it all worked out just fine.
Price and location.
House requires to be updated. Floor in sitting room needed to be cleaned.
Good location. Large bedroom with fire. Nice breakfast. Pleasant host. Inn well furnished. Private deck. Chairs in veranda.
Dirty private deck. Chair cushions and table badly spotted with bird poo. Shower difficult to use as curtain made access to taps hard. Envelope in room asking for staff gratuity. I will give if I want to and think it is rude to be asked.
Yummy breakfast. Friendly and helpful proprietors and staff. Warm environment. Great location - easy access to hiking and running trails, restaurants and shopping. Lots of restaurant choices - with good food!
If you're a light sleeper, the inn is on the main road, so you might need earplugs.
We had the cutest room and it was nice and big. The bed is extremely comfortable and the inn is right in the middle of everything, so short drives to attractions. The owner is very nice and cooks a mean breakfast! We just sat down at the table that is already set and they serve home made breakfast! They pay attention to detail and it felt like we were at home, very relaxing stay.
Not one complaint!
Breakfasts were great Everyone pretty friendly and helpful Rooms had everything you need
No written information in rooms about breakfast sittings. Would have been good to have a short rundown of how everything works in the rooms.
Inn keeper was great. Food was very good and Inn is well kept. Loved the porch and seating.
A bit to far to walk anywhere and road traffic volume a bit much.
The breakfast meals were carefully prepared and delicious. I also enjoyed kicking back and relaxing in the rocking chair with a good cup of tea. Wonderfully relaxing!!!
???? Nothing to dislike!!!!!!
Our room at the Inn was beautiful and cozy. Breakfast was terrific. Hosts were friendly. We enjoyed our stay and will come again
Only draw back to this location was the traffic noise, not that there is anything the owners can do to prevent this. For this reason, the location is both a blessing (close to everything...town & outlet shopping), and a curse from a noise perspective. In spite of this we had a lovely stay having put the a/c fan on which provided white noise while we slept.
Amazing breakfast. We stayed here for four days and it was really good breakfast everyday with really good variety. It's difficult to find anything in US that is just the right amount of sweetness and Arthur ( the owner ) really knows what he is doing. I really enjoyed the baked banana toast, (I even got the recipe for it from him), the muffins, sausage casseroles, etc. Arthur is really nice and friendly and got for me special lactose free yogurt, that was very kind. The place has hot water pretty much all day for tea and so it was nice to end our day with some hot tea and cookies. They also had coffee all day but never really tried it. Our stay was very comfortable and loved the look, feel and décor of this place. The location is really good and few miles from various hikes and sites.
We had the Traditional Queen size room that didn't include a bath tub. The internet was of fair speed, which I kind of expected. So if you are planning to stream videos or watch movies on Netflix, it won't work. But it's not a deal breaker. Would still re-book this place in the future.
Breakfast was excellent Art had very helpful suggestions for dinner and hiking.
Not to fault the Eastman, it is a very old home with crooked floors etc.
Friendly atmosphere, excellent breakfast. Our host Arthur made us feel very welcome.
Everything was great.
Good location in North Conway. The innkeeper and his wife are lovely. The breakfast was good. They have 3 sittings for breakfast when they are full: 7:30, 8:30 and 9:30. Choose one when you book as we had to go to the 8:30 breakfast and would have rather had the 7:30 sitting. I do love their porch.
Needs some sprucing up, a paint job perhaps. Didn't enjoy the 2 young men serving us breakfast. It seemed they really didn't want to be there.
