All except for the noise levels outside bedroom's 1 window
Lots of room, very well maintained, great value.
No soap, coffee, paper towels, toilet tissue.
Location and cleanliness of property was great. Nicely equipped!
slight smell of gas in apartment and hall...just a bit unsettling. Hot and cold water taps reversed so we thought we had no hot water...just a simple sign would have solved that. On site super was a bit surly. Booking was a hassle...said they couldn't process because they had no security number. Resubmitted, upon arrival was told that it never processed...oh wait, we don't take American Express...but now we do... come on team, this could be a perfect apartment ... clean this stuff up!
The location is fantastic. There are countless phenomenal restaurants within a 2 block radius. Also, subway very convenient. Having a washer/dryer was a big help while traveling with children.
This is not really a 3 bedroom as advertised. It is very small. It's a tight 2 bedrooms with an open loft. Fine for one family traveling with children, but I can't imagine any more than that. The street noise in the front bedroom takes some getting used to (but it is NYC). Location makes up for any flaws, though.
convenience, value, location, the togetherness it engendered, flexibilty, the home from home feeling,no problems with neigbours, taste of NYC apartment living.
traffic noise as one of the bedrooms overlooked 3rd Avenue, despite its address;radiator hammer in the heating system
location on E 25th street, space, bathrooms, correct administration of reservation and payment, excellent wifi
location in basement, no views except of dirty courtyard and of pavement, mice digging into our food and running around the apartment, noise of heating system at unpredictable times during days and nights always for about 1 minute (according to rental office due to age of building), beds a bit big for size of rooms,
-Chris & Jackie were very proactive and receptive to all our needs. -2 bathrooms for all our mob. -Big fridge plus washer & dryer -Wi fi -Locality. Close to store, pub, eateries.
-We had a 4 legged visitor that was very arrogant who helped himself to our bread when we were otherwise engaged.... like asleep. Everything thereafter was stored in the fridge. -Bed comfort was good but leg in middle of bed needed to be fixed to the bed properly.
3 double super comfy beds 2 bathrooms between 4 of us Decent size TV Wifi (when it was activated) Security of apartment Flexibility to store luggage
Noise from upstairs neighbours' parties and TV volume Noise from street (no double glazing) Lack of mirrors (i.e. none) near plug sockets to dry hair!!
We thought the location really good, not too central but with excellent transport links, it felt very safe. This was our first trip to New York so difficult to compare locations, our friends were in Lower East Side, which was a different environment. Make sure you know the arrangements for key collection as address is v confusing. My criticism is the place could do with new bedding, and a new sofa bed mattress.
Needs new bedding and a new sofa bed mattress.
The appartment was well located, near lots of shops and restaurants. The rooms were quite big for NYC and the beds were comfortable. Wifi worked well.
There is no natural light at all, the windows look on to brick walls. The appt was very noisy from about 5 am onwards, when first the heating came on with huge clanking of pipes, followed by construction work in the appt above. It was also full of mice and the toilets kept getting blocked. Plus this is an illegal rental. The owner is not paying tax to NYC but still charges 15% tax. He asked us to lie about the length of the rental if the appt got raided.
The wifi was excellent. The location was good, near the subway and good value. The kitchen was small but had everything you need
The acoustics in the apartment meant that you could hear people moving clearly in the apartments above
Very comfirtable and Nixe.
There was enough room for six though sitting area had no windows. Beds were comfortable. Location good for subway and eating out.
Noisy and landlord not easy to get hold of. Bedrooms need at least a bedside table and lamp.
Staying in a New York apt. was a great experience. I don't think I could stay in a hotel again. It was nice to have a kitchen if we decided to stay in and cook, which we did one night. The space was plenty large enough for the two of us.
I can't think of anything negative. We had a couple of issues, but nothing that would not occur in a hotel.
Liked the space, loved the location . Plenty of room for everyone .
Really nice apartment, although on 4th floor on no elevators. Great location
The check in procedure is complicated. The office is located in another place than the accomodation and it is hard to arrange pick up of keys, takes expensive phone calls. Impossible to store luggage at office even though we were told it was possible. A lot of extra costs to taxis, phone calls etc. because of all this
was located 5 min away from the metro, which access's uptown, down town, brooklin etc. this is Proper NYC, where the new yorkers live, you get a proper feel for new york. WIFI good enough to watch netflix on IPAD etc. air con in all bedrooms and you need it in August in NYC
Close to subway Ease of booking Facilities Washing machine and dryer
Stairs Bathroom basin drain needs attention
drains were clogged and had a thick brown liquid spitting out. Our first night we had a plumber come in and out for 4 hrs who used an industrial strength cleaner that had 2 of the group not staying the 1st night with the smell more accustomed to a napalm warehouse. Shower door fell off 1st shower. Wifi and TV worked for 1st night only. Blinds fell off in rooms. Says sleeps more than 7....hobbits. The lady managing (i wont name names) is rude, arrogant and unprofessional. After continous debate sho promised a refund on 1st night but since than, has not returned calls or emails. They let themselves in unannounced to try and fix issues for 'next' ppl. We should have been those'next' ppl when we arrived. And the 1 rule is, if NYC council come knocking...lie about your length of stay.....Oh and the views are of a brickwall a meter from the windows.....Cheers
Lovely apt. with all conforts. Clean.
Not very close to metro station and located on 3rd floor with no lift.
The appt was excellent
It was not clear how to get the keys and we took a stressful 30 mins trying to contact somebody
Nice loft sleeping for kids Great help from landlord
4th storey with no elevator
Good amount of space...hotel rooms tend to be small. comfy beds. bit far from times square area bit even with taxis it was cheaper than hotel. location was safe, vibe was cool and landlord close by.
wifi did not work
Great location where we could catch the subway and visit other areas in the city. Apartment was peaceful and quaint. Totally will stay next time we're in NYC.
Keys to apartment difficult to turn, however not something that couldn't be easily fixed.
2 bedrooms, kitchen, cleanliness, good wi-fi
