Located just off I-64, this hotel is 1.6 miles from the Norfolk International Airport. It features a free airport shuttle and serves a continental breakfast every morning. Free Wi-Fi and cable TV are included in all rooms at Econo Lodge Airport. They are also equipped with a microwave, a refrigerator and an alarm clock radio. The front desk at the Airport Econo Lodge is staffed 24 hours a day and offers fax and copy services. The hotel also has air-conditioning and vending machines, as well as laundry facilities. Low price, clean room. Truly a basic motel. If you want more than that, pay more. noisy residents at 2 or 3 AM both nights of our stay

I like the price for the evening. Liked the relative quiet environment. Didn't care to much for the mattress i slept on. Would like a more visually attractive environment.

The headboard fell down from the wall as I was going to bed. The coffe maker leaked- it was faulty - -when I tried to use it in the morning. Never again!

Friendly staff, airport shuttle. Room smelled like cleaning solvent, bedside lamp had bulb that needed replcement and clerk said he would send maintenance to fix it while we were at supper but it was not done. A/c unit was falling off wall. Breakfast was minimal and no sit down area to eat in.

The staff was very friendly, from the driver to the front desk clerk. I believe the front desk clerk was the owner of the establishment. The shuttle service was fast and friendly, they even took my bags to my room. I'm not sure if it was because I had a lot of bags or if I was traveling with a small child...maybe both. They offered a breakfast of a variety of fresh pastries, coffee and orange juice in the small lobby area. They are in a great location for airport patrons and offer "free" shuttle service. The hotel was not extravagant. The cleanliness was questionable as the hotel has been in place for a while with no renovations. I did not feel comfortable showering as the tub did not "look" clean. Honestly, I just didn't feel that the room was clean at all, although it probably had been cleaned. I don't think the carpet had been shampooed since it was installed. I do not think that they owners will attempted to improve the hotel in any way as long as they continue to get business, and they will because the rates are low and they are five minutes from the airport. The shuttle is free, but I believe the cost is included in the room as the price is too high for the quality of room you are paying for. And I paid $71.

Breakfast was minimal but a little something on your stomach helps always along with the coffee and juice.

Facility was close to the airport. Room smelled very musty. Facility located in an area that was questionable. Would not recommend a female traveling alone to stay there.

Location close to the airport; 24 hour shuttle. Location in an odd area for a motel, surrounded by used tire shops and car rental places. It was dilapidated and not clean!!! Stains on mattresses and chairs; carpet needed vacuuming; door knob falling off bathroom door, window curtains hanging off. Van to airport should have been vacuumed. Staff not appropriately dressed - too casual.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was pleasant. We needed a cable for internet connection. The free breakfast was white bread and a toaster in the lobby. I was rather scared of the location!
