The location to the Trop. is perfect.
The rooms need some work. Toilet kept breaking, walls had holes in them, curtains dirty and falling off wall, room smelled like mildew. Very load guest in hallway early Sunday morning.
The room was updated, clean and comfortable. The price is what you would expect for a weekend stay in Atlantic City on the weekend.
My only dislike was exterior of the building which really looked like a motel from 70's, but the overall stay was very nice.
the cleanliness and location
the outside definitely needs an upgrade it looks like a ran down motel which I wouldn't of wanted to stay had I not seen what the rooms look on line.
location was close to casino and beach
old and in need of remoldeling
Hookers knocking on our door . Guy trying to sell us xanax when we arrived. Overall dirty location. Outdated hotel. Had to change rooms after 10 minutes . Desk clerk stated there where hookers everywhere . Yes in that area there were! Spend the Xtra money go somewhere else!
The only positive interaction/ encounter I had was with the parking attended. He greeted me with a friendly hello and smile. He told me where I was allowed to park then directed me how to get in the building to check- in.
The second I walked in the door the man behind the desk was rude. He tried charging me more money to move my room closer to my friends( eventually did it for free). I also was under the understanding that my room coast $131.00 and with tax came to a total of $150.00. He charged me $173.13 and argued the difference was for tax. He also charged me an additional $5.00 that had to be cash for parking. My room smelled, the shower had mold in it and the shower head leaked water out of the stem. Squirting over the curtain onto the floor causing the floor to be slippery when exiting the shower. My AC/Heat unit worked poorly and produced an odor when ran. I was already so frustrated and intimidated by the staff i decided to suck it up rather then ask for a room change or to complain. Luckily we were able to keep the time in the room spent to just a few hours of sleep then left running in the am. I will never return to this place or recommend it to anyone.
Very bad hotel!
It was clean, the bed was comfortable, it was in a great location with food. Right across from the Tropicana. The staff was friendly. Would definitely be back. Can't wait for our next trip.
The location was close to the boardwalk and not too far from casinos.
There was an extra fee for parking, which we did not expect and a 30 dollar early check in fee, which they did not warn us about when we called ahead. When we did check in, they charged too much on my debit card by mistake and even though they canceled the transaction, a hold was still put on my card for the amount they charged. The room smelled bad and there was mold growing in the sink as well as other various spots in the room.
The bed was comfy and its great location!!!
The door didn't look secure kind of dingy toilet didn't flush well
Very very dirty old run down Had to pay additional money to park in their lot.
Location was good
Very dirty. Sheets were wrinkled. Uncomfortable bed
I liked the friendly service st the counter, the closeness to the beach and boardwalk, and the huge king bed
I can honestly say that I'm shocked that I didn't find one bed bug because this place looks like it would be crawling with them.
The stench was so horrific in the room that they had reserved for me I told them I couldn't stay there. I asked them if they had some type of flood or something, they claim that they didn't. They showed me 5 rooms until I found one that I could tolerate the smell. The walls were filthy, the shower knob fell off the wall, no curtain in the bathroom. The staff smoked outside of my non-smoking room. You had to pass a filthy garbage to go up a nasty stairwell to get to my suite located on the second floor. This place, literally made me sick to my stomach and I had to stay there for 3 nites. Never Again! There was gang activity just a block away. Young people in the next room partied and disrupted my sleep at 3 in the a.m. I had to pay $15 to park at this hotel. They had a sign that says they are not responsible if something happens to your car. The TV reception was very poor. This was the worst stay that I ever had, I wouldn't send my worst enemy there. I'm still recuperating, trying to get the stench and experience out of my mind and system.
near the beach comfortable clean
the breakfast was not really good and you dont have place to eat. expected something a little bit better for the price i paid
really nothing I could think of
Black mold on shower ceiling, fruit flies, continental breakfast was fair but OJ and coffee were like water. Just totally rundown our side from walls to public walkways.
It was fine, pretty clean but nothing special or extravagant.
The room smelled a bit like marijuana when we first entered and I feel like it was a bit pricey for what it actually was.
This was a perfect place to travel with my family. On the beach block and Avery delicious breakfast offered daily.
Everything One block from boardwalk Most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. I liked the later check out at noon. Good continental free breakfast. Very nice workers
It was close to the boardwalk/ beach.
The only good thing about this hotel was that it was a block away from Tropicana.
The room smelt bad. The ceiling was falling apart. Bad TV reception. Menu was sticky. Stains on carpet. People next to us got things stolen from their rooms. We tried to get our money back and the hotel staff was unfriendly and uncooperative. They were extremely unprofessional. I would never stay here again. In fact, we checked out early and found another hotel. We did not feel safe there at all.
The noise from the disco from the next hotel until 2am we couldnt sleep.
The Staff was friendly and very helpful. Located right next to Tropicana and the Jittney stop was right in front of the hotel. The boardwalk was just a short walk away. Room was clean. It served our purpose as we only needed some place to shower and rest a few hours. We went for 3 days during the week so Free parking. The room was cleaned everyday and we got more towels. The continental breakfast was more than enough for us. If you are looking for a decent place to stay you found it. This was our 40th Anniversary. Being close to everything and not spending a lot of money was important.
Could hear the garbage trucks at 5:30 am If you can get a room on the side where the Office and main parking lot is located.
