Where do I start??? This vacation was supposed to be a first time experience for my bbf and her lil girl. Then my husband n I have two smaller children under the age of 6. when we checked in to the room I told the front desk guy that I wasn't going to pay with this card all it was for is told hold the room. He said ok. When we arrive to our room the housekeepers (they were only two through out this hotel) said that our room was ready. We went in the beds wasn't change they just made up the bed. I am not gonig to go into detail what was on the sheets (you just fig in out bw the words) and just left wout cleaning the whole room. We noticed that it was a white plastic square box of frame on the wall, we just that it was a really a patch bc of a whole in it. It was but needless to say my husband got into the shower and my lil girl and I was literally swimming on our bed. With all the water we could take a bath on the bed. So we told the front desk figuring that we would be able to move to another room so we can all take a shower. Nope that wasn't the case we didn't move until 1 pm the next day and threw off our plans completely the whole day. Maintenance man called our room at 6 am and wanted to come in and repair it at that time. Reallly??!!! So at 2pm we was able to move next door to the room. Well the second night around 10 pm there was a couple that open up our door while the kids and my husband was asleep and my bbf was in the shower while was waiting on her so I can. It scared the mess out of me & of course I scream waking up my 2 yr old. We went up to the front desk told him that what just happened; he wanted to blame me that I was lying and it wasn't a big deal that I stranger came into my room with a key that he came to them. They didnt even walked into our room but 4 other rooms that was OCCUPIED>>> hello people that was our privacy n security just went out the door!!!!!
When I finally got the extra bed.
The dryer didn't work. Breakfast ended to early. Room to high not to have a king or queen size bed in it.
The location was convenient.
There was food left in the fridge in the room. there were dirty Q-tips around the pool, the microwave did not work, there was no where to sit around the pool (only 1 chair), paid for 2 nights and staff checked me out after 1 night and then did not even apologize after seeing I paid in full for two nights. I ended up just leaving and only stay one night. No one even offered to refund for the 2nd night even though they already checked us out.
The friendly staff.
The property, rooms, and stairways were in need of cleaning and updating. There facility had a bad odor- musky and dirty smelling. The continental breakfast food was steal also. This is not a place that I would recommend or stay at again.
No cell phone reception
It's not far from St. Simon Island.
The dryer in the laundry room didn't work
Breakfast was ok
The pool is unsafe the drain cover in 5ft is just sitting there if you swim close to it the top comes off very dangerous!! Almost the whole bottom of the pool is chipping of you have to be very careful when walking! My 11 yr old daughter got a big piece of fiberglass in her foot! After that I would not let them use the pool!!! Told them up front at service desk and they just said oh we didn't know!!! Wasn't even concern about my daughters foot! Ice machines on bottom floor that was by our room didn't work. Which they didn't bother to tell us. You had to go upstairs if you needed ice. Which I wasn't able to do that was why we reserved a room on ground level!!!! There was all kinds of god only knows what on the bathroom door and wall ( kind of looked like body fluids) nasty!!!!! And the bath tub had been patched up cause there was a huge hole in it and the plaster was breaking off. And our luck we had already paid for our rooms(2) of them and all the other hotels was booked up for the weekend so we was stuck there :(. Horrible !!!! Would not recommend to anyone!!! It was not anything like the advertisement and pictures on the website!!!!!!!
The second room was very clean and the staff was nice to accommodate my situation .
The first room I was given had a terrible smell and the tub was not clean.
The location was great! The pool was awesome! The room was clean! The breakfast was good! The price was awesome!
The mattresses did not sleep well at all!
Room was so dirty. Person at desk rude. I would nerver stay there again or recommend it.
Location and cleanliness and value.
We stay here often and somehow always end up by the pool. (noisy)
The friendly staff
air conditioner not working, shower head broken, toilet bowel float had to be controlled by hand, light bulbs missing. will not use econolodges again!!!
Proximity to family I was visiting.
Dimly lit room and vanity area, bald places and stains on carpet, cut on bedspread, holes in blanket on bed, extremely noisy ALL night. Water did not drain properly from tub when showering.
The bedspread was dirty, bathroom was dirty, I would like to see about getting my money back
Pool closed. First two rooms smelled bad, first was not even vacuumed.
