nothing, service, appearance, shabby
everything, booked two rooms, got one. Excuses, excuses, offer of another shabby hotel in vicinity. Never again.
Room was dirty and uncomfortable. This place needs to be torn down and rebuilt.
Friendly, helpful staff Comfortable bed Other interesting guests proximity to town and golf course
No fridge in room.
Convenient to Rocky Moutnain National Park and shopping options in Estes Park. Not noisy when wanted to sleep.
Blood stains baked into sheets, though the sheets appeared clean otherwise. No plastic for ice container or trash containers. No fridge or microwave, though the charge for the night turned out to be $10 more than nice rooms available elsewhere in the same area that had both.
We didn't make advance reservations and this was about all that was available - but we were glad to find something
Room was sold as non smoking, but it had heavy smoke smell. Carpets weren't clean and some base in the bathroom was falling apart. I had forgotten what a tube TV looked like (and the quality is not what people are used to now).
Rooms need updated, think the sweeper broke. balconys need cleaned one room had missing wash cloths, just needs some tlc.
The sheets had not been changed so we informed the front desk and told them we wanted to check out and wanted our money back. The desk clerk inspected the room and said he didn't see anything wrong. He offered to refund 50% of my money. He called in his supervisor who then inspected the room and saw that the sheets had been slept in. He authorized a full refund and we left. In addition the TV did not work.
Most expensive place we stayed in two weeks on the road. Very poor breakfast. Staff friendly, but not professional.
The Econo Lodge was very clean, but a little run down and out dated. The staff was very friendly .
The overall appearance of the Lodge was old and run down.
The room was comfortable.
The continental breakfast was poor and the WIFI was very poor. The room was not cleaned very well and smoke alarm was hanging by the wires from the ceiling.
I liked the Wi-Fi availabilty. The bed was clean.
Room not clean. Urine drops on bathroom floor. Cup rings and sticky substance on bedside stand. Coffee pot still on from previous patrons - and it was burnt! Garbage laying outside the door both days. Poor breakfast choices - all pastries. At check in the clerk did not say there would be breakfast or that the pool was not available because it was dirty.
Pets allowed, even though we had to pay a charge for our small pet when it said pets free when we booked on-line.
Room walls were too thin. Could hear people outside, above. Need to update rooms. Looks very old. Still had small tube TV. Needs new carpet.
Needs new everything! Comforters were worn, blankets, carpeting, drapery, seemed dirty, has the smell of once smoking room! For such a beautiful area, this room has no appeal.
good location..pets allowed
motel is old and needs to be updated
I liked where it was. It was a low price compared to other options in Estes Park. I'd pay more for a better place next time.
The room is very run down. The sink drain did not work correctly. The towel rack fell to the ground when I inadvertently bumped it. The walls have no insulation between rooms, we heard every sound our neighbors made - and I'm sure they heard ours. The floor had a soft spot in it. We were concerned that it might actually collapse while we were there.
it was too pricey for the accomodations. And not very comfortable
People at the front desk were very nice.
Very dirty room!!! Bugs
The staff was very helpful and friendly. There weren't enough towels and the staff brought them promptly when we requested them.
The entrance sign was not very visible and the location - much lower than the highway - made the motel hard to locate. The lock on the door didn't open the room the maid forced the window, climbed in to unlock the door - security????? The breakfast was almost nothing so we ate out..
Cleaning was bad, last used coffee bag is remainded in the server. Window curtain was broken.
breakfast, no plates, not much to eat dirty premises dirty room high price for quality rundown
People at the front desk were very nice.
Dirty, smelly and bugs.
That the hotel was in Estes Park. This was the only thing I liked. The man at the desk was pleasant as well.
I paid $102 for a nasty disgusting room on the second level. Room 144 smelled of urine, feces, and I have to wonder what the smell was from, human or animal. Highly pungent!!! The carpet was stained and sticky, the place was covered in white dust, likely from the huge ceiling repair. The sheets and pillow cases were covered in huge nasty brown, and green spots. Fortunately we just came in from a cabin and had our own bedding, which we used instead. We could not afford to lose our reservation fee or we'd have left. I fortunately am a Scentsy consultant and carried a can of our Cinnamon Bear room spray with me. I sprayed so much I could hardly breathe, to cover the horrific smell. It worked for hours. Thank Goodness! No one will ever get a recommendation from me for this hotel. Not to mention the staff was partying, drinking and using some sort of elicit drugs on the property, in the pool area. They were loud and obnoxious, and we were fearful that our persons or property might be at risk. Upon leaving the housekeepers, whom appeared strung out were remaking the beds with the same bedding used the night prior! This place needs a serious inspection from the health department and possibly the authorities. Appalling!
The room wasn't bad for the cost. DO make sure that you print out all changes made and the price quote and bring it with you though. Otherwise you may be charged more than you expect to be. That's the major thing. Other wise you basically get what you pay for.
The room is set for basics. Everything is on gas for water heating so it's not a steady heat when you take showers. Make sure there's no issues with the room cause our first room had a hanging fire detector, the toilet leaked up through the floor outside the bathroom, the keys wouldn't work at first. They had to move us THE NEXT DAY when an available room was open.
Towels were dirty. Sign at night not lit hard to find. Room needed repair and updating
The fact that is was the wrong room both times and got stuck in a smoking room. When we asked for non smoking
