Econo Lodge Inn and Suites Bellingham    

It was a good stay and a good value for money.

I was put in aroom that overlooks the high way and was too noisy. I asked the staff to change the room and they did. I was transfered to another room that is more quiet.

Right off the highway. The front desk staff both morning and evening were very pleasant! The room was clean. I felt safe in the room.

Due to location of my room the highway traffic noise was quite loud. Would be nice to have high quality sound reducing windows on those back rooms. Pillows were not that good but that was not a big deal.

Affordable

Uncomfortable beds. Cross between an air mattress for 2 and a cot.

The location (near airport and shopping) and that they had a park and fly service.

The heating unit was so noisy that I could not sleep at all. It came on every few minutes. My daughter actually woke up and thought there was a train coming through the room at one point.

Fire alarm going off at 4:45 a.m.

Office personal was very nice and coopoerative. The breakfast was fine and liked the early hour it opened.

Staff are very friendly

I was given Room 212 and was supposed to be a non- smoking room, the room was ok but the bathroom was so stinky with smell of tobaco, I think it is impossible who ever cleaned the room to have it noticed n shd have reported it to the supervisor and get rid of the smoked stinky odor.

It was extremely noisy but the front desk staff were very nice about it. The breakfast was good.

Would have preferred ground level non smoking room, but none available

No heat upon arrival and tv did not work. Fiberglass bathtub worn thru to fiberglass. Carpet had patched and worn spots.

Staff was helpful on a park & fly package correction. the booking .com site said parking was free, but that isn't the hotel policy. Everything worked out though, small fee for this addition

room quite noisy on highway side would recomend getting inside room if possible, no one @ desk for early morning check-out before 6:00 a.m.

Management was helpful, accommodating and friendly. It was especially considerate of Christina( I hope I have her name correct) to arrange for us to leave our vehicle at the Lodge while we were away for a few days and to ensure that airport transport would be available. We are not familiar with Bellingham but feel it is a place we would visit again. The Econo Lodge appears close to a variety of eateries and we enjoyed a wonderful meal just around the corner. Our rooms were spacious and beds were very comfortable. We made a wonderful choice with this establishment and will not hesitate to recommend it to others.

We were not happy with our stay. At 3:15 on Sept. 18 we had to find the maid and ask her to service our room The roof on the second bldg. was being reesurfaced , and the fall=out from that really rained on our car so headed for the car wash. The eating area was "too tight" in seating. The desk attendant was not kind when we talked to her about what we expected rfrom the room when we had marked we had some special needs (partially disabled). There were no grab bars in bathroom.

The accommodations were good, clean, and being able to smoke in the room was great.

The only complaint was that the floor above us seemed squeeky. We could hear every movement. Thankfully the occupants went to sleep before us, so we weren't kept up with the noise!!

The closeness to the freeway and shopping, The staff and breakfast was wonderful. It was very nice to have coffee in the room in the morning. We stayed overnight and had a flight to catch from Bellingham Airport to Vegas. We enjoyed the stay with Econo Lodge a lot better than the stay at mgm Grand. Thanks Again

We were on the main floor and found it to be nosy and we couldn't open the drapes without someone looking in.

Building is not insulated well enough (as any non concrete building always is). The person above us was heavy on his feet and walked around a lot. Luckily he went to bed early. The air conditioning/heat unit comes on loudly. That may bother some.

I appreciated the fact that it was very clean! The front desk person was very pleasant and informative. Thank you.....I will return!

As a woman alone and only one nighrt stay, I found the accomadations very suitable for me. I also found the rooms to be very clean and inviting. The staff was very cheerful and polite, I did enjoy the Cont. Breakfast, and the staff person that was there should I need assistance. The only flaw to my stay, was heater, it sounded like a truck was going through my room every time it came on I talked to the desk person, and she said that she would it looked at asap. Fran Olson

Excellent staff and annementies. Easy location quiet etc. Pet friendly.

We were in a pet friendly section of the motel and the carpet although was clean was the most stained carpet we ever stayed in. Our carpets have never been so stained after 50 years of owning dogs.

Breakfast has NOthing I could eat - all was sugar and carbohydrates, nothing protein at all. Because it was "breakfast included in price", the situation seemed unfair.
