-The receptionist really tried to help. -Plenty of parking. - Surroundings are S.U.P.E.R.B. -This hotel has tons and tons of prospect, just needs new management and new cleaning crew.
Room 1 had no heating. We were offered another room room 2 had no working lights room 3 had no heating again in room 4 the lock was not working room 5 was not made we ended up in a room for handicapped; in which the ventilation in the bathroom was broken... --- breakfast was so bad we skipped it. old bread in dirty baskets, the toaster was not cleaned for a long long time. Coffee was cold but "there is a microwave", which needs replacing because cleaning will not fix it anymore. --- rooms (all 6 of them...) were filthy. Dust, hair, toe nails, ..., you name it, we saw it on the floor and behind every piece of furniture. --- The "hottub" in the basement was open, but had brown water. We decided to not use it. --- The hotel should fire their entire cleaning staff and hire a professional team to start the new cleaning crew off. This will never get right again unless drastic measures are taken. ---
the place needs a REAL good cleaning, like Everywhere, mirrors, coffee pot & area, shower, rugs, floor, window sills, heater area, tables. surprisingly the bed was clean, or maybe I was tired... repairs NEED to be Done such as toilet seat broken, windows wont lock, heater didn't work, door did not lock (luckily there was a chair that I could chuck under the handle... it was really too bad, the place has potential!
the woman at the front desk was super friendly, but there was a young girl with her who was a little odd and distracting (not sure if this was the clerks child?)
a mouse ate our soap during the night! the room also hadn't been cleaned thoroughly and our neighbors next door were very loud all night.
Its a nice location and nice staff.
Nothing about the hotel :( I should have sleep in my car !
No comment !! Very upset that I spent money to stay there !
Lobby looked cozy
Vending room smelt of puke and hot tub looked disgusting
Facing the back of the property where we could see the woods as opposed to the front where we would have heard more tires on the gravel and road noise. Assistance at desk to get online. Breakfast options were okay.
Our door stuck and one had to time swiping the card with turn of door handle and pushing hard. A screw was loose preventing better action.Another electrical outlet would have been nice.
It had no heat no tv channels and when we bright it to staffs attention we got a space heater. Check.out is too early.
The staff were unkempt, could not tell they were employees or guests. When it is said that they had just completed a remodel I didnt expect that to mean a slip shod half baked job. The curtains in the room were hung like a slum tenement. And the windows did not lock. (we were on the first floor). The floors creaked , and the guests in the room upstairs were talking at a normal tone but I could have had a conversation with them from my room. The continental breakfast consisted of stale doughnuts and bagels with no cream cheese. The coffee was so weak that you could see the bottom of the cup. I stay in the area year round, you can bet I will not stay there again. Or any other in that chain.
The price for the area
the room, mold and mildew on windows. Spider on ceiling. Smelt like Cig.
people were nice and helpfull, wi-fi was nice! rooms were clean.
pool was green. hot tub was cold and small. cold cereal would be nice on continental b.fast. outside hot tub would have been nice if working.
couldn't believe the spacious room, pool, library area, plush carpeting...all for $55.00 a night! The staff was very friendly, and the hotel was clean. Granted the hotel was a bit outdated, but well maintained.
The breakfast was packaged doughnuts, muffins and bagels. However for the price it was a bonus!
Friendly front desk, location, bathroom was ok
bug crawled on rug, air conditioner no good & kept us awake, bad smelling, had to slam our door to lock it, downstairs activity area very dirty! beds very uncomfortable & carpets felt dirty...
The room was clean, comfortable bed. I needed an inexpensive place to sleep, not looking for amenities or 5 stars so this room fit the bill. Not a place I would stay with the family though.
the rate was what i was looking for.
the drain in the tub didnt work.
Low rates. Large room. Clean bathroom. Excellent tub/shower!
A/C window unit didn't blow cold air. Windows did not lock and were on ground level facing parking area.
The econo lodge was a terrible experience. The pool was was filthy, and disgusting. The game room was dirty and there was a family living downstairs who were loud. The person working at the desk was unhelpful and unapologetic when we complained. We had to leave. I would never go back or recommend this place to anyone!
Breakfast consisted of white bread for toast, plain bagels, and donuts, with orange juice and coffee. I guess hotels believe they need to offer breakfast to compete, but then provide the bare minimum - this was not a good way to start the day.
The price was excellent and the staff pleasant. The room was mostly clean (found a dog chew bone under the TV stand).
Where do I start? The hotel allows pets, so the room had a slight doggie odor. None of the cable stations listed were available while I was there. I can't say why as I did not inquire. Breakfast: weak coffee, instant oatmeal, bread for toast, "bagels" and store bought doughnuts. Address listed by Booking.com was outdated, so I had trouble getting there. Otherwise, a nice place.
Non-functioning of indoor game stuff.
If you seek a place to sleep for a low price then it was a good value.
The walls and ceilings allowed way too much noise from neighboring rooms. The shower leaked all over the bathroom floor. The building is very old and in need of major renovations.
Older facilities but friendly and great service
Clean. Room was large. Nice sized refrigerator in room. Convenient to skiing/restaurants. Staff courteous. Shower was good - hot water and good pressure.
One bed very uncomfortable. Room/hallway was non-smoking but still smelled slightly smoky.
It was quiet
No air conditioning. Could have been a lot cleaner
