It was cheap for being so close to NYC. It was run down. The ceiling was 7'-0" with old furniture, a tiny bathroom, wall paper coming off walls, no wifi and so much more. It was ugly and the breakfast was a joke. One night was more than enough.

On paper, they are close to the airport and are cheaper - about $2 less than some hotels around. Motel layout so access to car is easy 1. Shuttle: They took 30 mins to come to the airport (1 mile). Each time I called they said it would be 5 mins. On my 3rd call, he jumped on me asking us to stop calling. 2. Reception: The rudest owners I ahve ever stayed with. Basically screamed and said we were not seaking politely. First confirmed we were foreigners before screaming though! 3. Room: Dirty, Hair on the bed, stains on the bed, Filthy bathrooms, Exposed wiring. Cold drafts from the door. One of the places that makye you feel really cheap, trying to save money 4. Breakfast: A joke. Horrible stuff. Trully horrible 5. Honesty. There are trully people out to extract everything from their guests. I left my bluetooth in the room and within an hr after check out, there was no sign of it I feel really sorry for people who rationalized and have to stay in this place. It is really depressing place run by surprisingly unprofessional people in a trucker location. I guess there are always poor souls that want to save a couple of dollar.

Proximity to airport It was a a dive, there were no door keys and we had to be let into our room by staff and then left there. Then power went out and stayed out all night. We have never been in a place as disgusting as this in many years of travels.

Not much...the first guy behind the counter was polite. The shuttle was nice as well. My first bed had pubic hair everywhere on the bed...floor was not cleaned...the the others staying at hotel were ghetto. Weed smell, everyone looked like borderline homeless people. Also looked like there were drug deals going on. My second room had a few hairs in the sheets, but I was so tired and upset, I just slept with my pants and jacket on. The phone was sticky and I would never recommend this hotel to anyone ever...EVER...it was scary

It was cheap and not to far from NYC It just wasn't clean... We thankfully got the one last non smoking room... But had to go from a king bed to a full with no reduction in price... Front desk people had absolutely no personality! I have been to other Econo Lodges and they were great!!! This places needs an overhaul... Glad we only stayed there one night...

The night staff and shuttle drivers were great, however day staff were rude. It was not as I expected and I would not stay there again. I felt like I was staying in a dodgy suburban hotel, as opposed to the clean and simple Airport hotel I was expecting.

- great location for travellers transferring at Newark Airport - also good location for a trip to NYC, provided you have a car - price There is a lot what one could criticize. The hotel is old, worn out, AC is noisy, breakfast is not big... But with respect to the price and location, the hotel is OK. For that money one cannot expect newly refurbished rooms and services like in Hilton.

AT least it was a room for the night, close to the airport, to "rest" for 3-4 hours b efore my early-morning flight out of EWR. The area is scary. The facilities are awful. Very down-trodden looking, old, cheap, dirty. The room was awful. The bathtub was very dirty- black rings or stains: it was so dirty. The bedlinens were suspect, so we only used the sheets, slept in our clothes, with the lights and tv on all night, as we were not sure how safe we were. Van driver was not courteous at all.

Literally, the only enjoyable experience at this hotel was the driver of the transfer van who impressed with his over the top singing ability. This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in! The rooms were low-grade and very shabby. The room lock was keycard, but they had obviously recently switched from regular keys so there was a great big hole in the door where the key barrel use to be. There was nothing in the room that stood out as terrible as everything was in a state of disrepair. The tv and ac worked fine though The overall service was poor. The manager gave me a key to a room which already had another guest staying there. Thank goodness I knocked before I entered! We called the hotel from the airport and was told the van was 15-20 minutes away. 45-60 minutes later, and a second call, and the hotel van finally arrives. On our way back there was no traffic or area to hold him up The Continental breakfast was downright scary! At first I thought the breakfast was just behind a door shaped like a room door and that it was modified eating areas. Nope, it was just a faintly lit room which they stuck four chairs, a refrigerator and a couple of tables in. Worst, they didn’t even try to spruce it up, the room was just dire. Honestly I felt the “breakfast” was meant for migrant workers. There were two cereal options, some Costco mini-muffins & mini-bagel and some orange coloured water that was meant to pass a orange juice. All I can say is this hotel is horrible! Do not stay here, there must be somewhere better in Elizabeth to stay, and if not, sleeping at Newark airport is definitely better in comparison.
