Probably the worst hotel I have stayed for a very long time. The flooring is so dirty. Free shuttle service to airport but driver demanded tip!
smell of refrigerator not enough outlets
Everything except price!
la calefaccion sonaba como un tractor
Nothing in particular
Outside temp was -2 deg.Celsius Aircon was running all the time, very noisy. (Room has no good isolation). I slept very little.
Friendly front desk staff and shuttle driver.
Thin walls, neighbors very loud until 2am. Dirty, smelly. Dirty shower.
Convenient to Newark airport
Very old decor, bed was very old and uncomfortable carpeting was dirty toilet flushed when another room flushed theirs ! The list goes on and on .
Free airport shuttle and breakfast...
Front desk clerk was rude on the phone; hair on wall of shower, and when told about it, they didn't apologize!!!
Close proximity to Newark Liberty, free shuttle to/from
Room was a disaster... Needs total renovation! There was a hole in the wall, drywall flaking off, the bathroom was nasty. Suck it up and pay more to stay elsewhere.. This was a terrible experience
The heater had a bad bearing and made a lot of noice. With temperatures around 20 you need that during the night. Very uncomfortable. Could not be repaired and there was no other room available. No way to fix it !!
It was near the airport
I swear I heard gunshots in the night. Really never felt safe.
Shuttle Service was 24 hours
No coffee machine in the room and at 4 am no coffee available in the lobby.
Everything. Loud heater, shower broken, everything is falling apart. Just a total dump. terrible breakfast. smells all over. staff indifferent.
Location to airport. Shuttle ran frequently.
Breakfast was in a bag. Coffee machine was not good, cups were plain stryafoam, small and not available 24/7.
I chose this hotel only because of low rate and free airport shuttle. The shuttle driver was friendly.
The room was very unpleasant, with powerful chemical smell probably masking something worse, a very noisy heater and everything worn out. I have stayed in much nicer places for the same money.
horrific,nightmarish room with bugs,dirty linen,safety issues,unreliable van to airport
free shuttle close by easy check in
price (could have been slighly cheaper)
The toilet didn't flush and we request 2 bed not 1
The pimp beating the prostitute right outside my door at 6am in the morning!!!
Very cold, the heater is very, very noisy, there is no normal breakfast but a small bag of bread, and I won be here next time.
The mini bus transfer to the airport the driver was great
Threating location and 'down at heel' services. The 'free' breakfast is a joke bun in a paper bag although the coffee was good. Not the staff's fault the Days Inn H/O need to be ashamed allowing one of their hotels to be presented in this way. Take a look at budget hotel chains in the UK would be my advice.
Friendly shuttle bus driver
- crumbs under the bedsheets. I could feel bumps, which is why I looked what's underneath. - loose tap that would not open - needs a renovation
paper bag with juice, muffin and apple (which was not very fresh) is not a breakfast. Noisy air contitioning/ heating system.
Very old looking hotel
The ceiling was caving in, and mouldy. There was no hot water in the shower. The lock on the door was broken, I was unable to lock the door to the room and when I went to complain to the front desk, they brushed me off saying it was the only room left, take it or leave it. Finally I ended up sleeping holding all my belongings against me. Fortunately it was a short night, I stayed there only because my flight was canceled, but it was by far the scariest place I have ever stayed in, and I have stayed in some real dives.
