The breakfast was actually pretty decent especially considering the price of the room. The staff was very friendly and the bed was very comfortable. All in all a great value.
Some of the repairs could have been done a bit better. You could easily see former water leaks from the floor above that could have been done a little nicer but it wasn't a disaster or anything. I also had to take my food back to my room due to lack of space in the eating area.
Wi-Fi Size of Room Location Parking
Strong smell of air freshner
Super clean Airport pickup Train transportation provided (Reasonably priced) Great breakfast Walking distance to Old Town
Incredibly helpful service, room was spotlessly clean, great that breakfast was included and you can help yourself to coffee throughout the day, great location close to the Old Town
I can not fault this place in any way
The beds were very comfortable. The staff was friendly.
The room was a bit small.
Size of rooms, Location, friendliness and helpfulness of staff
Clean inside and out. Friendly staff.
AC unit goes on and off all night. I like the fan to stay on and the compressor to cycle if possible.
the location was good for my purposes. the breakfast was wonderful. a good variety and presented very well.
The welcoming staff, the good location by Old Town, the comfortable beds and rooms. A nice touch was the spa bath in the King Suite I booked. A pleasant surprise. The breakfast was good too, with choices for all. Quiet at night, which is always good.
The buses, which has nothing to do with hotel. More people need to give feedback, to improve the public transport network.
The location, hotel, staff, breakfast and all round pleasant experience of staying in a hotel where the staff care about their guests.
I can't think of anything.
Very good breakfest
1. Location in proximity to Old Town. 2. Value 3. Welcoming & Friendly staff 4. Cleanliness 5. Always a BIG bowl of fresh fruit at the desk & 24 hour coffee pot.
Recommendations: 1. An outside chair by each door to sit & chat. 2. Seniors like myself should request ground floor.
I'll make this quick: I usually scour several travel sites and read tons of reviews before I book a budget or economy hotel, because you never know what you're going to get for $60, so if you're reading this, I'm sure you do the same and I'll save you some time. This hotel is at the top of the pack for a BUDGET/ECONOMY hotel, and the review (stars) is based on a BUDGET/ECONOMY hotel, of which I have stayed in many, and not The Plaza, which will probably never happen. The staff was super kind and friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was fulfilling for starting our day. The walk to Old Town was quick. Of note, one staff member told me they would be updating the rooms sometime this year (new bedspreads/décor/etc), and I was surprised; I really didn't think it was necessary. The furnishings were more than clean, fresh, and adequate. Enjoy your stay!
We liked the place and the service. Bike rental was great, recommend to do some cycling on the bike lane!
Staff was friendly and very helpful. Wonderful variety at breakfast - hot foods (eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, gravy, potatoes and waffles) and selection of pastries, fruit and yogurt. 2 blocks from Old Town.
Everything! The choice of hot breakfast was a pleasant surprise! The proximity to the old town was a real bonus as we could walk there.
The air conditioning was too noisy.
Cleanliness of room Outside Rose bushes location
excellent location, fabulous continental breakfast, clean room, extremely helpful staff
more towels would have been nice
Close to old town, museums. Great access to ABQ bus network.
Great location, comfortable bed, plentiful and tasty breakfast, smiley staff.
Interconnecting door in my room meant that on two out of five nights of my stay I was awoken or kept awake by loud neighbours. Next time I will ask for room without this.
I loved staying in Econo Lodge Old Town ABQ. My room was spacious and very comfortable with everything I needed.Breakfast was delicious with lots of options. Staff very friendly and helpful. They had no problem looking after all of our bags!Housekeeping staff excellent, everything very clean. Would stay here again.
The room had only one window, but had great lighting. It was the cleanest motel room I have ever stayed in. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was very good with a variety of food. The parking was good, walking distance to Old Town which was fun to see. We had a great Mexican meal there and a huge ice cream cone.
The walls are a little thin and my neighbor was on the speaker phone in the middle of the night.
Fresh Fruit, Coffee & Tea available day & nite. Loved the Pool/Jacuzzi.
Long day of travel with a truck and trailer, another vehicle and a dog and baby. We were tired and needed parking for the truck and trailer. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. Moving their own vehicles. Rooms were better then I was expecting. Great place, would definitely recommend.
Can't think of anything I didn't like.
