1. Extremely spacious based on this price level. 2. Kinda big hotel in this small town. 3. Quite and safe place to relax.
1. The TV is extremely old 2. Some lamp is not working. 3. Have to walk about 10-15 minutes to find restaurant.

Good location, basic facilities, but ticks all the boxes.
Old fashioned requires a refurb
Staff, very friendly and helpful Room clean and easy access to parking lot and downtown Montpelier
There was a strong musty, or perhaps moldy smell in corridor and in room upon entering. Smell went away when heat turned on in room.
Staff was very accommodating.
room desperately needs an update. Needs a good dusting.
The staff was friendly and helpful. Bathroom was clean and had everything we needed. Room was comfortable and quiet.
Even though a non-smoking room, smelled a little like smoke, or just stale. Computer available for printing boarding passes, etc. was extremely slow.
It was an old facility and not maintained. It smelled musty in places and needed painting and new carpet. The furniture and carpet were visibly dirty. The breakfast was in a cramped room and was very minimal and totally unattended. I will not go there again.
the fan and light was connected. When my husband went to the bathroom in the middle of the night he woke me up because of the fan.
Bed was comfortable; free bottles water in room were appreciated.
Whole place was a bit seedy; peeling wallpaper, torn carpeting, unpleasant smell in room and hallways, empty tissue box in bathroom. For same price have stayed MUCH nicer places.
size of room tv
room smelled moldy stored cleaning carts in dining room spiders in bathtub
Location good. Complimentary warm cider, apples and cheese and biscuits during the Fall.
Insufficient space in the breakfast room. Bedroom not very clean. Excessive pricing policy. Car park needs upgrading. Derelict adjacent building is not a good advert for this motel.
Every staff person was pleasant . They went out of their way to offer assistance and ideas. When I asked the fellow at the desk if he had any Advil, he looked all around the desk, in the First Aid kit. They all made us feel welcome.
The building was shabby. Wallpaper was hanging off the wall, the rugs were frayed. However, if I had to choose, I would pick a pleasant staff over a shiny, new building.
The Hotel was quiet bear to the town. The Price was okay, the breakfast was an american and okay.
Extra effort to add small details of a better hotel. included breakfast was OK but not great.
Hallways had an Oder.
Having Breakfast...they had a good selection...
Room was Dirty appeared not to have been cleaned at least not very well !!!! and the shower wasn't very appealing either..... While there we Fabreezed the room several times because it smelled musty and stale.
Clean room Big room Friendly staff
lack of privacy with drapes open to hallway lack of outside light
Broken door on cabinets. Dirty carpet just grungy overall
It was very quite and the room darkening shades were good! The A/C worked amazing. The king sized bed was brand new and was incredibly comfortable.
The hotel was so sketchy! I have never in my life stayed at a hotel where they charged your credit card before your stay!! That was beyond not okay! We are a young couple just traveling through Vermont for our anniversary and needed a cheap place to sleep. We sure got what we paid for! I will warn everyone, the drive way up to the building is in need of some huge repairs. It was at a steep angle and was falling apart. It was hard to get up there! The windows in the room look out into a hallway, so we had to keep the blinds closed the whole stay because people were looking in. All in all it was okay. Would I stay here again unless I had to? No. Better options around the area for cheaper prices!! Check out Barre, Vermont. They have much much MUCH better hotels for better prices!
location from highway closeness to town our room had been updated
very old building carpets old
our stay at the Econo Lodge was very enjoyable! The lady at the front desk was very nice and helpfull. It was a great price and a free breakfast was greatly appreciated, Thanks
Our room was old, musty and dirty. Beer caps on floor, dirty carpet, old furnishings and hair in the sink! Need I saw more?
