Easy accessible by public transport to all areas around San Francisco . Clean and reasonable room size. Near to shops and eating area.
Close to the Golden Gate Bridge and Fine Arts; public transport at the door and all the restaurants, coffee shops you could desire only one block away on Chestnut St.
Great central location in terms of thinks interesting to tourists. Clean linens, rugs, bathroom.
Noisy. Right next to Highway 101. Handprints needed to be washed off doors.
The guy who checked us in was nice, accommodating, and funny.
The room was big, clean & had a fridge. (Excellent Wifi connection as well.:-)
Had to climb a flight of stairs to get to my room. Location(nice area but not one I would normally stay in as I prefer to be more centrally located)
The gentleman at the front desk was so sweet to me. The value for the room was excellent. It was nice to have no many choices in food delivery.
It wasn't the greatest room, but definitely worth the money I paid compared to other hotels in the area.
Rate's on the lower side but things are much newer and better than other motels in this rate range. I wouldn't mind booking this motel every time ii come to San Francisco alone.
Insufficient lobby area or common area with furniture where guests can take brief rest or use for short office work.
It was close to every place that I want to see
The pillow,I can hear walking upstairs
I had stayed at this hotel once, about 2 weeks prior to this trip, and the front desk person recognized and expressed "It's really good to see you again". We chatted a little about places to visit in San Francisco before going to my room. Despite the smaller size of the business, everything in the room seemed to be new, clean and kept up to date. Far better stay than most motels in the city within the price range.
Close to the Presidio
Scratchy Towels, hard springy beds, no closet... The list goes on. I booked in a pinch and was not surprised this place had rooms available. When every other hotel was booked solid.
The staff was very helpful, the localization was near the Marine and Golden Gate
the room was not comfortable and smelled musty, the cleaning wasn't also good and the very old towels.
Television No bugs
Holes in the walls Microwave was broken Fridge was broken Bathroom door didn't close Bed was old and saggy Only one employee Very limited parking Homeless people sleeping on roof No trashcans No soap Trash in room on arrival Motion sensor lights throughout room turn on anytime you move
The motel is old
So accommodating, with parking, checking in, and providing recommendations for places to see in the city.
Coffee pot could have been cleaner, but for the value not a big deal! Coffee outside is cheap
the bed was comfortable. the guy who checked us in was very nice, friendly and helpful. location very convenient to the Presidio.
everything would have been OK except for the fact the carpet in the room was soaking wet. It was gross, couldn't walk barefoot or put anything on the floor. we weren't able to complain or do anything about it as we only went into the room late at night.
I like the location which is close to union street and other attractions. It's very convenient and clean. There are a lot of bars and restaurants.
Just free wifi.
Everything was crazy.
The bath tub was black along with the towels. We slept on the top of the bed sheets with our clothes on. It was dirty and the heater was on some kind of power save control that you had to get up and turn it on again every ten minutes. The remote looked like it was never programmed for the tv. Parking was strange.
Nice staffs, warm water, microwave & fridge inside, extra pillows & tableware on request.
Room door straight into the street, no blinders/semi-transparent curtain (not safe to open curtain during the day), no bath tub.
Noise from outside (but it wasn't a surprise) Smelly carpet
I have stayed here a few times and the front desk staff was wonderful and even got me extra pillows when I needed them. The cable works well and the Wifi is very reliable. Highly recommend if you need a place to stay last minute in the Marina
There could be nicer bath and shower toiletries but no big deal.
the price,location,hv parking.
breakfast, only instsnt coffee.
The manager, Ash, was very friendly and made sure that everything was good during my stay. I would stay there again.
We all know San Francisco is expensive, the knights hotel is the cheapest hotel around. However, it has all the facilities of a far more expensive hotel. It's extremely clean, hot showers, comfortable beds. That, included with flat screen tv, fridge and ensuite it makes the Knights Inn a sure choice. Ignore the bad reviews, they are outdated. The hotel is lovely. #Hashisalegend
No bad comments, everything was pukka!
Room smelled. Overpriced Coffee maker was covered with dust. No cups. Bed was noisy and smelled bad.
