Neat and clean, good value. Plenty of hot water for the shower.

It's not quite a free cup o' coffee in the morning if the office door happens to be locked...thanks for opening up, and for easy answers to the questions I had. Very content overall. Decent coffee, too!

The two gentlemen at the front desk were very nice and accomodating and gave me a clean blanket (mine was very dirty). Additional top sheet (as this is the proper way to make the bed, eliminating the dirty beadspread that does not get wahed with each new guest) and pillowcases (mine looked as if someone had slept on two of them as there were wrinkles from head prints).

Room #25: The bed skirt was in dissaray when iI entered and the first thing I did was remove the bedspread and put it on the chair revealing a very dirty blanket and pillow cases that looked as if the amaid had not changed then; the toilet was loose at the base and wobbled when you sat on it; The toilet seat also needs replacing as it looks dirty and hard to clean; the sink hot and cold water were installed backwards, the refrigerator temperature should be lowered to save energy and not freeze the contents, the outside sidewalk needs powerwashing then hosed down regulary,commercial ashtrays shouls be added outside to prevent all the buts being left in the lot or gravel planters, an ice machine should be installed so guests would not have to go to the office for ice; Coffee makers should be added to the room, the shower head is a very cheep plastic one that barely lets water flow and should be changed to a metal "low flow" one that can be purchaed inexpensively at your local hardware store. I spent the first hour and a half cleaning and makking the bed. Normally I stay at the Rose Garden Inn by Best Western but it was full for this weekend. Next time I visit the Arabian Horse Show, I will plan ahead better. They have made their rooms much fresher and more up to date and also eliminated the bedspread and added a clean top sheet. The room rate was raised, I suspect, as there were three functions goihng on in Watsonville at the time. I paid somewhere around $370.00 for the two nights, but left the first morning aroud 7:3am and headed home as I just didn't feel safe or comfortable.

Bathroom was in poor condition as was the dressing area.

It was clean. They were remodeling.

One of the beds tilted while the kids were sleeping and they woke up with a headache .

Probably the worst value for the money of any motel we have ever stayed in. We were there two nights. The first there was a loud party until three in the morning next door. The room was small. If we had paid half what we did, perhaps we wouldn't be complaining so much.

Only the location.

Shower curtain was very molded/dirty,towel rack in bathroom very rusty,kleenex dispenser could use some replacing,carpet did not look like it was vacuumed, and furniture needs to be dusted.

Renovated rooms look up to date and better than hotels in Carmel charging 3-5 times as much.

The room really wasn't cleaned each day. Towels replaced and bed made, but vanity countertop not cleaned, trash not emptied, and carpet not vaccumed each day. One evening, the power went out to all outlets. The staff tried to get them working again, to no avail. When I asked if they were going to move me to another room, they said no. I ended up having to go to bed early, with no TV or way to use my computer as the battery was dead.

The location - close to eating facilities, to downtown Watsonville and specially close to Highway 1. Easy access to the coastal State Parks, and midway between the Santa Cruz Boardwalk and the Monterey Peninsula.

The room was comfortable and clean. Our room had the shower head broken, after I notified the front desk it was fixed by the next evening. As vacationer/beach traveler, we are always in need of ice. This is the first hotel/motel I've stayed where we had to ask at the front desk for some ice. I was very surprised and inconvenienced by this service. All other hotels/motels I've stayed at have an ice machine available for their quests.
