The pricing and location to my event.

Check in and check out didn't seem legit. The beds were uncomfortable with 2 flat pillows and the shower curtain smelled. I felt like I was staying in someones grandma's back room.

It was inexpensive and easy to find off the 101.

The hotel was incredibly crumby. The people in the room next to ours were loud all night, banged on the paper-thin wall, and were aggressive to us. The smoke alarm in our room started to beep at around 2am, and I had to get up and disconnect it. The staff looked like they hated us, their job, and life in general. I really wish I had spent $20 more to stay somewhere decent. The Economy Inn Seaside is a filthy hole where the American Dream lays, festers, and decays.

Our email said to check in at 2 P.M. we showed up at 2:30p.M. and were told the room would be done at 3:30p.M. The walls and ceiling had crumbled and fell on top of lighting grid. The bed smelled old and dirty sheets. The Parking lot was ridiculous, I drive a black Nissan Titan truck I could not leave in the morning for coffee due to the tight parking spaces. I would never recommend a stay there.

Location

The whole complex including the room is run down. The staff acted like they could care less if you enjoyed your stay, only wanted the money. Room was Waaaay over priced, Hotel is not even a one star. They need to spend some money cleaning and painting.

Room could use basic aesthetic repairs and upgrades. Old rusty light fixtures, chipped off tiles, chipped furniture.

Staff was very friendly and nice.

This was to most over priced inn I have ever stayed at, was a late booking and all the other hotels were filled. The rooms were fairly clean but the outside was dirty and the entire motel needs updated. For the price that was charged I expected a lot more, even the hair dryers were old and did not work well.

Quiet place though hotel is located near the road.Not bad staff, microwave, refrigerator, tv in the room. Bed-sheet was not enough clear, but was quickly changed.

Price is very high for the service quality. Dirty room, old furniture, breakfast was awful - cup of coffee and cheap crackers from the nearest shop. All of this does not cost 150$ per night. And they charge for ice.

Everything; cleanliness, staff, location: all were horrible.

Close to Laguna Seca and not booked for Moto-Gp

Room was dirty, bedding did not cover mattress; staff unreponsive apparently no sheets of sufficient size. We requested additional sheets and remade the bed ourselves. Facility in disrepair.

It was the cheapest place available at the time, and the room was clean.

Even though it was the cheapest place around, it still felt fairly expensive considering the place. It wasn't horrible, but everything felt pretty much bare minimum of what you would expect.

It was easy to find and close to Safeway, Walgreens and Carl's Jr. The staff was friendly and quick to respond to requests. My room was clean and comfortable. Refrigerator and microwave were clean.

No Pool and they charged for ice.

Can't beat the price for the location. The staff was incredibly friendly, no hidden charges, exact price upfront, he made everything easy!

You get what you pay for, definitely not a luxury hotel, but not overly dirty. If you just need a room and you're on a budget, this place is great.

My wife and I looking for a gateway to Monterey and decided to try this place. We read earlier traveler's reviews and called the property and asked about the bedbug issue. The lady confidently replied us "absolutely no bedbugs". She was right, there was really no bedbugs. This inn is centrally located near major attraction of Monterey and super stores.The staff were extremely friendly, respectable and accommodating. Very nice room equipped with refrigerator and Microwave. The bathroom was very clean and had a good shower.The wi-fi was free and actually was high speed.Our room was so great we stayed two nights more and they gave us good deal.Our neighbor was a visiting teacher at dli and has said that he always stay here since last four years.We enjoyed our visit very much and we definitely stay here again. We thank Booking.com to have this inn on their site.

Bugs in room

I liked that the motel had room availability when we decided last-minute to travel to the central coast.

At over $300 for the 2 nights, I don't believe it was a good value, but it was price competitive with other motels. The walls are thin. I got a free x-rated late night audio from the couple next door!

Reasonable price for an event weekend. Desk clerk was wonderful.

Lower end quality, but it what expected for the price.

The continental breakfast was a joke - lierally only coffee and 4 packaged rolls on the check-in desk. The room was not overly clean and had no shampoo. It just felt creepier to me than the last hotel I was in and it cost $40 more.

What I liked was very easy for me to move around easy acces to freeways and my place of work.

The room was in bad shape, not working phone, carpet it so dirty like they never done carpet cleaning in that room, paint job pretty bad, tiles falling off, toilet not secure properly, heater made a lot of noise when it was on etc..........

Hotel operator was friendly

You get what you pay for. It was good for me because all I needed was some sleep and a shower and I'm not all that picky. However, the room was incredibly stuffy, screen missing from window, dusty, holes in the blankets, hair dryer didn't work, toilet didn't flush, water pressure was super strong (painful almost), tub filled up during shower (drain clogged), and obviously, don't depend on the in house shampoo and conditioner, oh, and bathroom fan didnt work.

There was a hole in the wall by the light switch, dirty spots on the wall, and the drain on the shower/bath was broken so when I was showering the tub filled up with water. Yuck! O
