The room was a little chilly
easy access to providence
bug in bathroom no heat first night there no heat in bathroom either night brown water coming out of bathtub faucet UGH! booking.com showed edgewood manor but room was in next door property not as nice.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff, quiet location, great lounge area and freshly prepared breakfast
Although the staff were friendly and helpful, the service at times was a bit clunky. The room rate was right at the top end of what you would expect to pay for what is offered.
The house was absolutely beautiful. The furniture and antiques were amazing, clean nicely decorated rooms. The staff was nice and friendly to us (a gay couple) but innkeeper was a bit over talkative. The food was the best I've ever had at a B&B restaurant quality!
Driving into the area was disappointing, besides the street the house is on, the neighborhood isn't very quaint. The bed was also very squeaky, like it may have fallen apart if we weighed much more, and the ensuite bathroom door was broken I was locked in and couldn't get out. We peeked into the nicer rooms though and they seemed great.
The young lady (CJ) was always helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was excellent. Complements to the chef. The house had easy access to the main interstates and roads and is in a decent location. Beautiful Old Bed & Breakfast.
Sometimes the wi fi was not so good. Probably because of the lath and plaster construction in the older home. The bed was soft which was fine by us but I could see it might be an issue for some.
We loved the unique structure and design of the house, very ornate and beautiful
Quirky! Amazing period decor, fabulous antiques. Great hospitality from the staff. There is no doubt that you get out what you put in to engaging the staff. Had a fabulous meal at a local Italian restaurant, seemed to be straight out of the "Sopranos"
Quite difficult to find, even with satnav
The premises are delightful! Joy, the cook, was fabulous!
Not a thing.
The room was lovely and comfortable the breakfast was amazing
Beautiful house and furniture, feels like living in a museum.
Not a convenient location, there are no shops or restaurants close by. The room had no air conditioning (normally I hate air conditioning but this room was really too hot).
Exquisite interiors, Great breakfast in a out-of-this-world-from-another-time dining room, & devoted staff.
Beautifully restored old house with wonderful wood carved mantels, etc and lovely sunroom where most people chose to have breakfast. The food was excellent, thanks to the very talented cook. The innkeeper and his wife were very welcoming and knowledgeable about the region
Wonderful, very atmospheric 100+-year-old manor, beautiful decor and furniture, great public area music (mostly classical, which really suits this type of place), very friendly and helpful innkeeper, excellent breakfast individually prepared rather than those usually crappy buffets most hotels have, and immaculate. This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in and highly recommend it!
Not a thing to complain about
It was a beautiful b&b with a wonderful breakfast every morning. It was also nice to talk with other guests.
The mattress was too hard.
The Inn Keeper was very friendly, the room was nice and very quiet. This is a nice place to stay for a quiet weekend.
The manor could use a little upkeep. the tv was very hard to watch as the bed was very high and it was on a low table plus there was a post in the way. I also didn't realize there were 2 buildings so we were not in the main one.
The Renaissance Room is not recommended, the room and bathroom are tiny.
