The staff is awesome and very helpful with everything. Even how to get around town. Everything was super clean. The beds were very comfortable. The price is great for being in the city and being close to a lot of different things.

Clean hotel, staff helped when there was an issue raised. Price when compaired to other hotels for same dates. Location, a lot of undiserable on streets, however seems there are a lot of streets like that about the city unless you pay more for your hotel location. When I checked I would have had to pay twice as much to stay in a nicer location. F line street car stop outside hotel, stick to that to avoid walking on the street. Smoke issue with resteraunt next door should be addressed.

Everything!! It was in a great location so it was easy to get everywhere we planned to go on our honeymoon. It was close to everything but far away enough to be comfortable. Our window overlooked Market St. I loved to just people watch! We'd stay again any time! Nothing

This is a great budget hotel and the staff are very focused on customer satisfaction. They were more than happy to point out the best places to eat, where to shop and things to do. The rooms are basic, but clean, comfortable. The Market Street location is very central, with the F line and MUNI station right outside the door. Overall great value for money and well worth recommending.

I loved this hotel. The decor was very modern and everything was very clean. The staff here is fantastic . Upon checking out I got halfway home and realized I left my keys and diamond necklace in the room. I called the hotel and the staff immediately went and found both for me. Not only that they put them in the mail for me the same day. I would recomend this hotel to anyone and will be returning. Aside from that the beds have a cool extendable light for reading, aswell as an outlet to charge electronics. There is also a desk with a nice view of the city streets below, centrally located, its the perfect place to stay The bathtub had jacuzzi jets but when I filled the tub I found they didnt work and I was a bit dissapointed

We really enjoyed our stay at the Edwardian. It is a small, friendly and affordable hotel, newly renovated, with quite nicely decorated rooms (we liked the old school phone, the funny lamp, and we had an orchid in the room). The tram stop in front of the hotel is convenient to get to downtown. Walking distance to Hayes Valley, a neighborhood with nice cafés, restaurants and boutiques. The old single layer windows let the street noise into the room.

The most friendly stuff we ever met! It was our first trip to sf but we were always well informed what is going on in the city (sightseeing, sales, games) and where to go to have a nice breakfast or dinner. Thank you a lot! Our room (nr 21) was very comfortable, ikea style: with a queen bed, flat screen, lovely old style phone, beautiful modern bathroom with shower, with a street view. We planned to stay there during 4 days and then move closer to the Moscone center for the conference, but as we enjoyed our stay there, and the public transportation was just in front of the hotel, we decided to extend our stay for one more week, and cancel the reservation in a 4 star hotel. It took us only 15 min to reach the Moscone center from there. And we had a chance to stop at the Little Griddle on the way and grab some breakfast:) We can't wait to visit sf again and stay in Edwardian Hotel one more time. Everything was more than perfect.

The room was very nice. It looks like to be in a proper house instead of a hotel. Also the staff was always very friendly and available The location can be a bit noisy during the night. But it is not a big deal if you are used to big cities

I really enjoyed my stay at the Edwardian hotel. Staff were super friendly and with a handful of advice on how to survive in San Francisco. I met my room in a very clean and well kept condition. Bed was very comfortable, bathroom was lovely! The room I was in was quite small but I didn't need anymore space as I was out most of the time. This is not an hotel for lounging! Just letting people know. I think it's perfect for young travellers and ecstatic tourists. I also really appreciated the self service coffee and tea available all day by the reception. Very minor things I feel could have been better like the wash hand basin- pretty small, so I would always get the floor wet while washing my face. Hotel gets a bit loud at about 7am... Noises from the water system possibly the boiler. Reception closes at 10pm everyday which reduces the level of security in the hotel.

Both front desk people were excellent, helpful, informative. Perfect central location, walkable to many attractions and restaurants, easy mass transit ride or drive to others. All you need, nothing you don't.

Nice personnel, cool building. Not far from downtown, not too expensive. Vintage elevator !! Candies at the reception. Too much water waste before getting hot water, view is not that great :)

I absolutely loved the customer service at this place! They genuinely care about their guests and the safety of their cars and belongings. The parking lot seemed a bit sketchy but it turned out to be great! Very helpful staff and very comfortable rooms. Will definitely be back to this hotel and will be recommending it to my friends as well. The only thing I wasn't 100% satisfied with was the wireless connection, but it was nothing major :)

The budget and location were great! Very clean area and has a European feel to the building. I would stay here again since there are many eating locations right outside of hotel room. A little too small, but then again we were only there to sleep in room. If noise bothers you it is not in a quite area. Elevator is very old and small could be a problem for some people. There is no parking available. I believe they charge for parking, but we were able to park along side the street.

The staff was great! Upon arrival one of them gave me a bottle of wine which I so much appreciated since i was exhausted and needed a little relaxer...All the staff I met are really caring and communicative people. When my friend phoned there to check for me, he was told that I had not registered??? made confusion and worry for him. Some on just couldn't find my info I guess, but this mishap caused concern.

THe hotel was a very cute Victorian style place that my mom really enjoyed and it is located in a great neighborhood was misguided by the room with a city view as when i opened up the window blinds the view was 2 large oak trees and the noisy busy street. The chair to sit in was a hard plexiglass type chair not comfortable.

It was a great stay I really don't see why people complain about it. staff was the kind and the room was small, nice, and clean. Nobody bothered my boyfriend and me. I will be definitely going there again. The only thing I didn't liked: there was people in the next room or hallway being so loud at one in the morning, my boyfriend slept through though other than that everything was lovely.
