Great location and quiet!
I didn't expect to pay thirty dollars more than what booking.com said I would. Personally not an extreme disappoint as it was an inconvenience.
- Location; nearby freeway system - Transit station nearby; accessible to SF - shower appeared newer
- Room smelled as if someone vomited and it was not cleaned up properly - Carpet was gross and did not want to step on it with bare feet - 2 bed unit was upstairs with no elevator - No 2 bed unit down stairs at all; not good for people with disabilities - toliet ran constantly; wasting water - free breakfast consisted off weak coffee, & a pastry
Location is good.
The bed sheets was with a lot of spots. When I asked administrator to change them she told me that she ARE NOT ABLE TO GUARANTEE that the new one will be without spots... Two nights I had to sleep on fully spotted bed sheets.... Only on third night the bed sheets were replaced on the ones without spots... By the way, breakfast is too poor. Coffee has only smell of coffee... We were using the kitchen as the place with the table, chairs and microwave machine. All other equipment and food are not acceptable for using. It looks like they used very cheap air freshener. First moment when I come to the room I felt strange smell. I thought the reason was in old equipment but when administrator in the reception showed me air freshener I was surprised to smell the same smell. I would NOT recommend you stay in the El Camino Inn hotel.
No more breakfast left!
It was quiet. The other guests were so quiet I didn't know they were there. The value for the price. I love the access to BART
The wifi seemed to be underpowered. At night (my first night) it was good During the day it was very slow My second night it was very slow
Quite and clean place to stay
Bread shortage during breakfast period. They don't supply when it is empty. Very sorry to said their coffee too light, just like the water.
The location is very covenient to be reached from the airport and also to get to downtown SF
The breakfast was the lousiest I have ever seen. Existed of almost nothing! Kinda funny
Walking distance to SOME food.
Arrived Oct.3 in afternoon. Check in with man at desk. His first response to me is, "Hot," when I ask him how he is doing. Weird. Come to find out NONE OF THE ROOMS have AIR conditioning, and it was 101*F outside. We check in well after check in, and we go to the room to find plaster and tools in the bathroom on the floor and toilet. The wall was freshly pasted with goop and someone forgot to clean it. They had no other room. There were ants in the room and bathroom. No fan. Only a heater?? Beds are SMALL for a couple! Barely fit two adults side by side. People who were also booked were disgusting. Smoking outside their doors, spitting over the railing with mucous, leaving it all over the walkways. Ugh. One of the worst choices in places to stay I made.
It reminded me of motels we stayed in when I was a kid. Very sweet and clean and affordable.
The breakfast -- not very exciting although the breakfast room was cute and we had a lively conversation with another couple from Argentina, which made up for the food.
Staff was very good
Location reasonable for airport as it it close to BART station and city.
This wasn't going to be a negative report but the attitude of the owner prompts these comments. Our stay was for 4 nights. We tried to check in mid evening but reception was locked. It was at least 10 minutes of ringing the bell tbefore someone arrived. After booking in, we asked if, on our day of departure, that we could leave baggage at the hotel until our flight late evening. We were told reluctantly that that would be possible. On our checkout, we asked to leave our luggage, and were told by the owner that it was not possible. She was positively rude and unconcerned that they went back on their word. She was not concerned about the fact that as guests we were about to leave America that day and eventually had to sit at the airport for 12 hours. Although the rooms were made up each day, no coffee or cups were left, resulting in us having to ask, only to hear more tales of woe from the reception. The breakfast was non existant. Warm coffee and a pre wrapped pastry was the only thing in sight. The same slice of stale bread was there for 4 days. The room was small, and although clean, the sheets were marked Don't be prepared for pleasantries or help from reception at any time during your stay
Room was clean and quiet. Close to the BART
Breakfast was low quality and when run out nobody filled it up. Bit far from the city

For being an older hotel it was very clean
The price was great; the breakfast was fine, although not particularly interesting; the coffee was hot; the bathrooms were clean with a great skylight.
Unfortunately there was a heat wave that weekend and no air conditioning. With open windows we could hear every word of some fight or drama another couple was having in another room. Also lot of road noise. The beds were way too short for my 6 foot husband. Wifi didn't work.
There were spots on a bed linen.
Poor breakfast, choice of bread or pastry but stocks run out quickly.
Location for airport and Bart is good. The bed was comfortable.
The rooms were very small and needed decorating. I was initially overcharged for the room. There was no food and very little to drink in the breakfast room. The office lady had no person skills and was very slow to do anything to rectify the situation. I would not stay there again.
It was clean and had an amazing Mexican restaurant across the street.
Heard loud people all throughout the night.
The place and the room itself is obviously old, but clean.
It's not worth the price!
Nice location and good bed very clean.
They were understaffed so small inconvenience.
The friendliness of American Latin neighbourhood. There is a laundromat and wide selection of fast food nearby. Reduced sales tax because you are staying at Daly City.
Poorly served and limited breakfast. The hotel management does not care to top up the bread and coffee once they are finish.
The guy that checked us in was pretty nice. He didn't look too professional as he was just wearing a tank top. But he was nice. Also, the beds were firm so that helped us sleep well.
All that there was for breakfast was a pastry. Not really much of a breakfast at all.
It's close enough to SFSU without the city prices
The beds are very uncomfortable.
Location was close to where we needed to be and many local businesses were accesible.
Advertised continental breakfast was bread, coffee, and prepackaged danish. You can judge this book by its cover, not a 1star motel, but we needed somewhere to sleep so it got the job done.
