One Staff (a woman)
For being an older hotel it was very clean
The price was great; the breakfast was fine, although not particularly interesting; the coffee was hot; the bathrooms were clean with a great skylight.
Unfortunately there was a heat wave that weekend and no air conditioning. With open windows we could hear every word of some fight or drama another couple was having in another room. Also lot of road noise. The beds were way too short for my 6 foot husband. Wifi didn't work.
There were spots on a bed linen.
Poor breakfast, choice of bread or pastry but stocks run out quickly.
Location for airport and Bart is good. The bed was comfortable.
The rooms were very small and needed decorating. I was initially overcharged for the room. There was no food and very little to drink in the breakfast room. The office lady had no person skills and was very slow to do anything to rectify the situation. I would not stay there again.
It was clean and had an amazing Mexican restaurant across the street.
Heard loud people all throughout the night.
The place and the room itself is obviously old, but clean.
It's not worth the price!
Nice location and good bed very clean.
They were understaffed so small inconvenience.
The friendliness of American Latin neighbourhood. There is a laundromat and wide selection of fast food nearby. Reduced sales tax because you are staying at Daly City.
Poorly served and limited breakfast. The hotel management does not care to top up the bread and coffee once they are finish.
The guy that checked us in was pretty nice. He didn't look too professional as he was just wearing a tank top. But he was nice. Also, the beds were firm so that helped us sleep well.
All that there was for breakfast was a pastry. Not really much of a breakfast at all.
It's close enough to SFSU without the city prices
The beds are very uncomfortable.
Location was close to where we needed to be and many local businesses were accesible.
Advertised continental breakfast was bread, coffee, and prepackaged danish. You can judge this book by its cover, not a 1star motel, but we needed somewhere to sleep so it got the job done.
Convenient location at Colma bart station. Comfort acceptable for Europeans considering the price, so not bad.
Couldn't adjust the Air Con. Asian staff kind and polite whereas the elderly owner seems to be an eccentric lady, try to avoid dealing with as you may get the wrong impression about politeness in the us.
Location is perfect to visit San Francisco (next to Bart), the room is clean.
No any other service (no map, no laundry service) and people didn't want to provide other service. Breakfast was worst ever! Once I had to ask for it. It contains; toast and a sweet cookie, tea or coffee.
Room is very clean .
All 3 mornings we had to ask for toast, butter, etc. - was a problem at different breakfast times. At 8:45 the arrogant receptionist who called herself manager, said there was no more - although breakfast time was till 11! It was an issue every morning which ticked us off - bad advertising!! Coffee was like tea - 2 teaspoons for a full pot! No napkins, no tea, only one table + 4 chairs, unclean! There´s no table in the small rooms either! For $100,- a night it is too expensive for what it offers! As experienced travelers we would not recommend it. Carmen & Gerhard from Austria; July 2014
Close to the train (BART) and to supermarket.
Some of the people of the staff don´t make the minimal effort to help you. For instance, I tried to change a $50 bill to bills of $5 and $10 and the woman at the front desk told me they would not change it because there´s a lot of false $50 bills in circulation... I expected that any person who works in businesses that involve cash payments should be able to differentiate false bills from real bills, anyway.
Wasn't much to like? It was clean though, maids are good.
Manager very rude, we are elderly and we're very tired after a 10 hr drive as I told her, asked if we could check in early, she said we could wait 2 hours, no exceptions. I will not go back unless under new mgmt.
location and clean. had everything we needed.
strong bleach smell
Inexpensive as compared to locations closer to San Francisco. Close to BART station so you can get to San Francisco in 15-20 minutes. Nice staff.
Nobody was available at the front desk at night, even before 11 pm. Near the hotel there is literally nothing to see or do.
The location suited my purpose and is very close to BART
I confirmed a 1st floor room a month bed I arrived and they would not give me one. I was on 2nd floor, no elevator, totally away from the stairs and lugging a 60lb duffle bag plus gear up and down. Even after I asked, I got a cold no and an excuse about fixing rooms. Never again
convenient & great price for an inn near the bart colma station :-)
wifi was on & off sometimes
During our stage in this hotel our bags were attacked in one of them appeared 3 cuts and other cuts were made at the seams. Regrettable. Very bad breakfast.
Nice location to BART and good restaurant across the street. Staff was overall friendly.
Room appeared clean but had tiny ants all over. Shouting and Police activity in the parking lot one night, not sure it that is typical. We felt safe. Free breakfast was low grade, pretty low end.
