Rich in history, natural beauty and possessing a charming hacienda atmosphere, the El Cordova Hotel was originally built as a retirement mansion house for wealthy industrialist Elisha Babcock in 1902.
In 1930 it was converted to a Spanish Village hotel and has been updated and expanded several times since then to provide additional rooms and amenities.

Miguel's is also located in the lush courtyard of the historic El Cordova Hotel. This restaurant has become a Coronado favorite with its delicious Mexican cuisine and charming patio setting.
The picturesque Coronado Village is bordered by the Pacific Ocean to the South and West, San Diego bay to the North and Glorietta Bay to the East.
The majestic Coronado Bridge connects the Village to downtown San Diego while the peninsula known as the Silver Strand provides access to a stretch of more beautiful beaches and the gateway to Mexico by land. Its proximity to San Diego and its many attractions makes Coronado a perfect destination while visiting the San Diego Area.
