all staff need hospitality training. ease up on the slot pays, they are too tight. no more fun coming there.
look good was nice
Cost Trendy digs Very clean. Free candy dish.
Staff in our hotel area was disinterested. Front desk was under manned. Good restaurant in hotel was not open.
Staff was friendly and great. Food in restaurant was great and inexpensive for the quality. GREAT OLD VEGAS feeling in the hotel.
Nothing All was good.
That every thing was there at the casino keno, horse racing etc.
Our room was a $40.00 a night room and dirty. The TV was 20 years old.
Great location near Fremont Street. Room was very clean (tower suite with two queens).
Bathtub and sink had drainage problems. Room doors slam shut and can be quite loud (and even shake the walls if people aren't courteous when leaving/entering their rooms).
Beautiful room, nice beds, good security, and convenient location along with excellent price and discounts on food and drinks.
The shower didn't drain well.
Nice small little spot.
Paid more for the room. Booking.com stated on price and I paid slightly higher. Only a few dollars more but that is not what was guaranteed or stated on my reservation through their site.
The fan in the roon made noise every now and then for no reason.
I stay at this Hotel Casino twice a year. It is my favorite Las Vegas hotel.
All was great as usual.
booked for 14 nights, wanted to stay 14 nights, stayed 5. they wanted to surcharge us for staying longer than 7 nights; what business in the world wants to turn away customers? Crazy that they double your quoted rate, so they lost two rooms to the Downtown Grand, which was a much nicer hotel and more welcoming. their concession to our booking was to offer a $15 a day voucher for breakfast, even though the booking.com offer was for breakfast included ( but the hotel said that was just for one person per room!!!). Dreadful. Dreadful. Dreadful.
My room the food the staff the casino
Very large and with atmosphere.
Downtown is nothing.
Fee WiFi, large rooms, super views, fridge in room (tower room), plenty of towels, large screen TV, and truly vintage furniture that has been well kept; I actually had a vintage desk with a drop-down surface and cubbies!
WiFi has always been adequate at El C, but this time was slightly slower; however, it's included in the room rate, so no extra charge
I liked that this is one of the Oldest Casino in Las Vegas; that still has money coming out of slot machines. Tood was great.
1) The closing of the Flame House We booked this Hotel especially to go to dinner here. 2) Being bite by bed bugs, my body itches and is inflamed, not good.
For bikefest they have motorcycle parking up top, and guarded all the time, so didn't have to worry about anyone messing with them.
The pavilions rooms are very noisy due to acrossed the street is a fire breathing bug is all I can call it. And didn't stop till after midnight, real hard to sleep. And the bathrooms are a bit small.
Cleanliness of the room and how large the room was
Shower drainage was slow
Love the history of El Cortez!
Food was terrible!
The room was perfect for the price and just what we needed.
Our keypad to our room went out and no one could fix it. They almost changed our room at 5am the day we were due to check out. We opted not to since we were going to be checking out in a few hours.
Not too crowded.
I missed the poker room. Every time I visited the hotel, I would play some poker because it was a more relaxed venue and the betting was at a more reasonable level for guest that want to enjoy themselves, not trying to win a lot or lose a lot.
close to fremont st. guards posted all night
wifi would not work
Strong smoking smell everywhere due to the age of the building and elevator etc
Down town location & history of the place old school vegas
It had an old Las Vegas feel and was very inexpensive.
It had a distinctive odor and not a pleasant one.
