The fan in the roon made noise every now and then for no reason.
I stay at this Hotel Casino twice a year. It is my favorite Las Vegas hotel.
All was great as usual.
booked for 14 nights, wanted to stay 14 nights, stayed 5. they wanted to surcharge us for staying longer than 7 nights; what business in the world wants to turn away customers? Crazy that they double your quoted rate, so they lost two rooms to the Downtown Grand, which was a much nicer hotel and more welcoming. their concession to our booking was to offer a $15 a day voucher for breakfast, even though the booking.com offer was for breakfast included ( but the hotel said that was just for one person per room!!!). Dreadful. Dreadful. Dreadful.
My room the food the staff the casino
Very large and with atmosphere.
Downtown is nothing.
Fee WiFi, large rooms, super views, fridge in room (tower room), plenty of towels, large screen TV, and truly vintage furniture that has been well kept; I actually had a vintage desk with a drop-down surface and cubbies!
WiFi has always been adequate at El C, but this time was slightly slower; however, it's included in the room rate, so no extra charge
I liked that this is one of the Oldest Casino in Las Vegas; that still has money coming out of slot machines. Tood was great.
1) The closing of the Flame House We booked this Hotel especially to go to dinner here. 2) Being bite by bed bugs, my body itches and is inflamed, not good.
For bikefest they have motorcycle parking up top, and guarded all the time, so didn't have to worry about anyone messing with them.
The pavilions rooms are very noisy due to acrossed the street is a fire breathing bug is all I can call it. And didn't stop till after midnight, real hard to sleep. And the bathrooms are a bit small.
Cleanliness of the room and how large the room was
Shower drainage was slow
Love the history of El Cortez!
Food was terrible!
The room was perfect for the price and just what we needed.
Our keypad to our room went out and no one could fix it. They almost changed our room at 5am the day we were due to check out. We opted not to since we were going to be checking out in a few hours.
Not too crowded.
I missed the poker room. Every time I visited the hotel, I would play some poker because it was a more relaxed venue and the betting was at a more reasonable level for guest that want to enjoy themselves, not trying to win a lot or lose a lot.
close to fremont st. guards posted all night
wifi would not work
Strong smoking smell everywhere due to the age of the building and elevator etc
Down town location & history of the place old school vegas
It had an old Las Vegas feel and was very inexpensive.
It had a distinctive odor and not a pleasant one.
$10.95 fee for ATM. Boom base music till 2:00 in morning. Poor sleep effected my days.
everything. Front counter slow, room toilet didnt work had shower water dribbled out, old tv, room stunk. Changed room charged me $21.staff rude and didnt care.forgot food one nite in rest.sry, sry, sry, is all i heard.Got bottle of wine that was to go to other room from M & D.
The Parlor Bar is great...has best drinks ...best Brandy Alexander I've ever had! Great bartender! Slots payoff better than anyplace else I've stayed.
Too much smoke...wish they had better filtration system like the higher end casinos on the strip. Had to play less blackjack than I wanted because of all the smokers!
In the room there is everything what you need including fridge hairdryer, iron...Downstairs is casino and there is a icemachine on the floor where the rooms are.
We had a room to the street and in front of it there is some casino and it plays very loud music every 15 minutes, it is inconvenient but if you get used to it it is fine..
the staff was nice n friendly, the location was good.the price was good i stayed for four day n really enjoyed it
there was suppose 2 have been another person who didn't show up i was on the hook for an extra $40. i thought i should have been refunded.
Price, Very big room, Quiet place
Can smell smoke from the walls (have to accept condition that, we won't be smoking in room, otherwise we pay 120USD). So it was necessary to claim at reception about smoke. Receptionist made note to our reservation and checkout was without any problem.
Nice friendly hotel. Low gaming minimums at Blackjack, craps and baccarat
No elevator. temp control on A/C made it too cold.
The staff is great. The location is perfect for downtown stays. The clean spacious quiet rooms are very nice. The Casino gives comps that can be redeemed for food or rooms. That's old school !
Everything was great as usual.
