Score from 80 reviews Wonderful
Quiet Friendly staff Comfortable and adequate facility, even for an extended stay
Frequency of cleaning the pool was not adequate
Pool had broken bottle my 13 year old cut his foot on. roof leaked our room was flooded. room wasnt very clean but staff were good
Lots of space with comfortable furniture and very comfortable beds. Two badrooms and two bedrooms were great for our family. The pool is great, especially in the afternoon and with the very hot Arizona summer. We could easily check in early and the people were very friendly and even recognized us when we arrived there again after more than three weeks
The only thing negatives were the blinds that could not be closed shut so there was still a lot of light in one of the bedrooms and during our second stay there was some very loud music at the pool in the evening.
Good size rooms. Great pool facilities with plenty of choices of seating and we were lucky enough to be the only users during our stay. Location is very close to Scottsdale Old Town, if a little out of the way. Staff were friendly but not the most efficient.
Rooms were a little 'tired'.
Suites the size of appartments, great value for money. Super pool area
Rooms could do with some touching up
The beds were very comfortable, the rooms were very clean.
Parking was a bit of a challenge, but once we figured it out it was ok.
This hotel was a great value. Lot's of room and comfort for my family of 6. Very cool theme and decor.
The pool area looked nice
The general manager was extremely rude. Our original room wasn't available, so we were put in an older, sparsely remodeled room. It wasn't as nice as others we'd seen, and a bunch of things on the patio were broken.
There is absolutely NOTHING I did not like about this place. One of my favorite places to go for a staycation!!!
We loved the decor, and the sixties artsy feel. Music played overhead as we walked through the courtyard was wonderful. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The room was very clean and nicely decorated.
Friendly staff, nice rooms, peaceful environment
The property has a great mid-century modern feel. The grounds are excellent and well kept. The pool area is especially nice with a hot tub, pool, grill area, cabanas, and comfortable seating.
My only complaint is that light from the pool area kept our bedroom pretty brightly lit at night, even with the blinds closed. Some curtains over the blinds would fix this easily.
Beautiful retro rooms , great swimming pool with chaises under canopies, fire pit etc.. Very relaxing Walking distance to center of Scottsdale
Our air was out in our room. The staff was very nice and moved us to a new room.
Our air was out in our room. The staff was very nice and moved us to a new room. The linens were not nice and the comforter had no cover on it and the blanket in the other room was stained along with the pillowcases. Some of the pillows were like Frisbees
Being on 1st floor; people above us came home at 2am and we could hear everything. Also $26 resort fee per day is a rip-off. It is not a "resort" by any stretch of the imagination. An unheated pool and uncomfortable furniture.
Hotel had a lot of charm, and was decorated very cute.
Staff was giving out different types of information each time I called to ask a question. The room was not as nice as it looked on their website. The doors were difficult to lock and unlock. There was food in the pantry, which some of it was already opened. That was disturbing, like they didn't give the rooms a thorough cleaning. The pillows were terrible, not comfortable to sleep with at all.
Nice to have a kitchen and two bedrooms since we were traveling with our two children, ages 1 and 2. The pool area was great.
Air conditioning, HA! Yeah right our room never went below 80 degrees durning the day with the air on. It was cooler outside then it was in the room first thing in the morning and at night. We tired to talk to several employees to have someone look at the air but the problem was never fixed. We definitely won't be staying here again!
We loved the courtyard and pool area!
Lots of party goers til all hours due to wedding on site
Location was very close to downtown.
The guest in the room next door were up and loud at the pool and spa area which was right across the walk from our room until 5:30 am. One guest yelled at them to quite down - which had no result. Hard to believe there is no security at this place. Was exhausted and ready to go home to get some sleep.
-It's an older place but clean and mostly quiet. -Staff was great, very friendly. -Our room was very large and comfortable -The pool was a good temp and size.
-I was offended by a peacock being kept in a very small cage on the property. I don't like to see animals treated this way & see no need for it to be there. -The hot tub was pretty foamy both days we were there, indicating that it wasn't as clean as it could be.
The poolside area. The location in Scottsdale. The front office staff were always helpful to us.
That not one picture advertised online looked like our room. &Quot;Traditional" means there have been no upgrades or renos to the room. That there was no secure chain lock on the door, nor was there a room safe to store our valuables. We had to take them with us all the time.
The suite was spacy, clean well decorated. The pool & grounds were immaculate. Lots of comforttable lounge furniture spaced around the pool deck and a fireplace for those cool nights. Close to Old Town Scottsdale. If you are looking for an alternative to a hotel room, i recommend you stay at the Eldorado.
No dish cloth & dish towels in the kitchen!!
Decor was cool. Nice laid back atomisphere.
Pushy employee. Incessant calling and intrusive behavior.
Location and room size.
The HVAC system could be improved. Heater did not seem to work too well.
Loved the amount of room we had, proximity to pool and ability to get lounge poolside. Other resorts have kids running around and/or people reserve chairs with towels very early
We had an older room that needed some TLC
