location and price for just a clean place to stay one night.
mold in the bathroom shower area and the lower wall. No blankets for the beds. It was minus 3 degrees outside and no blankets on the beds. Good thing I brought an extra from home. bed to soft
We've stayed at this motel severral times, and find it to be clean, comfortable, well maintaIned, and excellent value for money. In short, everything one might reasonably expect from budget accommodations.
I like the fact for the price I paid, I had a room that I was not scared to stay in. The room was clean and didn't smell. The bathroom was clean enough so that I didn't worry about mold issues. The heating system was programmable so that you can set it at a temperature that was comfortable thru out the night. No waking up at 2:00 am, parched, dehydrated and overheated due to a system that doesn't automatically shut off. I like the fact that the bedspreads were white so that you can easily judge for yourself on the cleanliness of the bed. I like having a fridge in my room so that I could store any restaurant leftovers. Overall, a pleasant place to stay and close to the outlets- a 2 minute drive down the road.
I was satisfied with my room but my sister had a completely different experience. She had a room with a bed that smelled of bad body odor and the heating system was not programmable and was noisy. It seemed that this room was not updated like my room. However, the staff was extremely helpful and quickly took care of the situation by moving her to a room with the same conditions like I had.
Location, comfort, cleanliness and great value for the money.
Others were much more expensive
Couldn't been more choices for the breakfast
Great price Great accommodations We liked the breakfast.
Would like more gluten free options for breakfast.
LOCATION - COMFORT - GOOD BREAKFAST
Clean room with microvawe. Close to the Freeport outlet
Room was very clean and staff were friendly. Convenient location to shopping. Would definitely stay here again.
Room was on second level, no elevator!!
Price was good. And was in walking distance of a good bar.
A bit dated and no fridge in room. Too far away from the town center for walking.
everything but bed
The location was great for exploring.
Maybe a little more selection for breakfast.
Breakfast, ground floor room
Convenient to Freeport, Portland and local Maine sights
Cramped, disorganised and old fashioned breakfast area. Staff not particularly customer friendly.
friendly staff in the office. Clean and a good value for the money.
The cleaning staff entered the room the day we were leaving around 9 a.m. with their key. She apologized but within 20 min. came back pounding on the door and let herself in again. We were almost ready to leave but had not checked out. I was waiting for my husband in the room, as felt he that she had seen we went in the room before she entered the first time. He had to use the wash room so I waited in the room for him. She unlocked the door the second time even though I had answered for her to wait. I told her that we had not checked out and she did not seem to care, just wanted to get her job done. I did let them know at the front desk that they needed to tell her that it was not acceptable. We usually leave a tip for cleaning staff but decided not to on this occasion.
Friendly and helpful staff. Room was comfortable and clean.
Had to climb stairs with luggage. Breakfast was very crowded. Food was good, but it was hard to get to it and hard to sit down.
Beds were comfortable.
Broken locks, smelled of cigarettes, bathroom smelled of urine, one light didnt work
Room was horrible and basically got everyone out of there for 6AM because we just couldn't take it anymore!
We arrived at 7:28. A lady in the office pointed to the NO VACANCY sign, and made NO attempt to talk to me. (door was locked) I asked if there was someplace else to go. She sort of shook her head and pointed. I assume we were not charged and NEED to confirm that. DO NOT GO THERE. Kathy --Hamilton
Cost-effective. Good service. Fresh fruits for breakfast.
Comfortable and available for last minute reservation.
For a economy class motel could have been a little less expensive.
As soon as air conditioner turned on reeked of smoke. Let front desk know
