Room was clean
Pool was not heated like it promised. Room safe was broken, no security, Right behind railroad tracks. Resturant was hardly ever open. Doors to rooms had to be slammed to close.
noisy because of heavy surrounding traffic
The room was clean and comfortable.
The pool and bar area looked nice. The staff gave me a coupon for a free drink but the bar and restaurant were not open. No mini fridge in the room and no continental breakfast.
After our initial problem was solved, it was much better. The staff was very helpful. The restaurant food was ok but the service was very slow, and not much else around to go and eat!
My husband is handicapped and had a problem with the room, they changed it the next day. The train is very noisy, especially at night when you are trying to sleep!
Staff, comfortable room, good price.
The staff was nice.
Trains sounding off all day & night, Couldn't sit up in bed without the bed rolling away from the headboard. Awful TV and channel selection. No conditioner in the shower. Bad neighborhood.
dirty-poor parking-room cleaning not done twice-train passing all the time-pool cold-lousy shower -elevator broken-poor customer service
It was cheap
The train whistle from the trains that ran by the property late into the night. The walls are also pretty thin
Room was clean
Reserved a room and arived at 6AM. Ask front desk to give us a courtesy call when ready & was told we would have to check back at 11 :( checked back every hr for 4 hrs !! Before room was ready while we sit in parking lot and watched people leaving steadily from 9AM.:(
The main entrance and the lobby are very nice, but once you leave the lobby its another story. The pool area could be beautiful and relaxing if cleaned up. The lounge chairs are worn out and should be re-webbed. Tables were filthy. Pavers around the pool were covered with some sort of berries off the palm trees. They might as well have used cigarette butts for mulch in the landscaping. They were everywhere. Very nasty! Awful, loud music played from 8 am until 11 pm everyday! Totally annoying and not necessary! The hallways and walkways and railings are very dirty. I felt like I had to wash my hands every time I touched something. Elevators were filthy and were out of order most of the time. Rooms were clean but beds were horrible. Dirty throw on the bed. Toilet seat was broken. No cold water in our room for 2 days, just scalding hot water. No fridge or microwave in the room. Passenger trains went by every 15 - 20 min. blowing their horns all day and night. Restaurant/bar is terrible. Waited one hour for a tough, dried up chicken sandwich that was totally inedible. Manager didn't seem to care, blamed it on the morning cook. It was in the evening! Charged us $32 for 4 house vodka drinks and charged for the mixers separately. Waited 45 min to get our check. Not many other choices for food nearby except for MacDonalds and Waffle House. Neighborhood was scary after dark. I wouldn't want to be stuck there without a car if you plan on going out. Wi-Fi was hard to log into. I would never stay there again.
Not very clean and old breakfast too expensive
Location, pool area, bed,
A six day Stay No dishes, also phone did not work, no Hot Water, and Safe did not work told front desk but it never did get fixed
near Train which is very noisy and not near many good restaurants
The tropical garden was beautiful. I took lots of pictures. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable bed. The lobby was beautiful but needs to be kept spotless at all times.
The stairwells were not clean. As I looked over the railing, there were cigarette butts in the garden below. Smokers need to place their cigarette butts in a contaqiner. It spoiled the garden which is a focal point.
The young woman, Angel, who checked us in was superb. The gardens around the hotel looked quite nice.
The trains run every hour during the night and go right past the hotel. The train whistle woke us up every time. It was really, really loud. The room was decent. The hotel is very, very old with outside entries. The tile stairways were stained black. Sorry, but I would never book this place again.
Meeting people in the bar and the bar staff.
the front foyer was very nice, but the rest of the place the floor was filthy dirty, up stairs and on every floor, never washed. There is nothing to do around the area, no shopping etc. The train..........nobody told us about it when we booked and there were no ear plugs in our room. Never again!
Bed was too hard.
The staff and service in the bar/restaurant was excellent. The grounds and landscape were beautiful. The rooms were clean as well as lobby.
One front desk staff told us we could not check-in till 3:00 but as we waited they checked in three other couples before that time. The elevator broke down so we had to walk down 4 flights with all our luggage. Nothing but fast food restaurants nearby . Had to pay for shuttle to airport and room smelled musty. Way too expensive for what you get.
We got there at 3 which was check in time and the rooms we're not available we have to wait like 2 hours to get in to the room
Very bad services
dirty floors plus plus plus had to ask to change rooms as bathtub was moldy and peeling they had to readjust payment card and now have over charged me by $23 dollars please get me this refund
The train going by every 20 min blowing the horn could not sleep
Many of the amenities not existant.
The staff was friendly and helpful. They allowed us to store our luggage before check in @ 3 & It was behind a locked door Has an Elevator, Room was a three out of five.
Good luck trying to sleep through all the trains that go by. Am track 1/2 block away. Location was a two out of five. I would look around but not rule this hotel out next time.
Closeness to the center,
Noise, Unpleasantness of staff, poor service in restaurant / bar Odor in the rooms No carpet in the rooms, floor cold
Elevators smelled bad
