Noise from nearby trains in the middle of the night kept everyone up.
Pool area; mattress was comfortable
Attitude of management; location had loud train, plane, and auto traffic; didn't receive quoted price; request for statement via email ignored
The bed the train noise air condition unit too loud the pillows were terrible noise from the road and highway 95 worst location for a hotel who is the bird brain that thought to put a hotel there. Go figure
The lobby and pool area were really nice the room was comfy
The air conditioner is really was really loud and the train pass so close that it wakes me up every time it pass
The door to the rooms opened to the outside, not a hallway and there was a loud train that runs past the property approximately once an hour all night long. The beds are old and hard; every time you move the bed makes noise waking someone up.
The place had a nice lobby. After that dump.
Kitchen in resturant closed on our visit Very noisey from nearby trains
The way the room was decorated was beautiful.
The carpet was dirty and old. The next morning we no hot water. The sink was not draining. The AC didn't work and the vents were dirty. Leigh Ann
The lobby was ok
Everything!! The common areas (stairs, hallways ect) were filthy!!! Does not look like the floorss in these areas have been cleaned in months. They say they have a Mediterranean cuisine menu. If you consider hotdog, hamburgers, wings and frozen pizza medieranian cuisine then you're ok with it!!!! HORRIBLE service!!
Clean, comfortable rooms.
We paid in cash, but hotel charged credit card to. We had written letter to manager, but till now after 29 days hotel didn't return money, so we had paid twice. It is very disappointing.
Room was clean
Pool was not heated like it promised. Room safe was broken, no security, Right behind railroad tracks. Resturant was hardly ever open. Doors to rooms had to be slammed to close.
noisy because of heavy surrounding traffic
The room was clean and comfortable.
The pool and bar area looked nice. The staff gave me a coupon for a free drink but the bar and restaurant were not open. No mini fridge in the room and no continental breakfast.
The best part of the trip was Angel, staff member. There was a Waffle House next door that served awesome grits.
Looks like an oasis but it is a mirage. The pool was not heated. The train whistle blew all day and all night long. The internet did not work. The television was fuzzy and the website boasted they had food and beverages at restaurant opening from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 pm. This was then corrected by the hotel manager after I complained...too bad for everyone there at that time because they were sol having to get their own food and drinks. Good thing I had a car. The vending machine vending machines were empty and were not serviced until I left. The safe in the room was broken. The maids were kind but front desk people besides Angel were not - a lot of eye rolling. The breakfast was open only on weekends and Monday. And the music was on during from 8 a.m. to midnight. After the second night there I called Hotel Mgt and it was turned it down. Too bad I could not sleep in ...some vaca. I paid ahead of time for my entire stay, something I have NEVER done at any hotel. I am now waiting for my refund on my last day as I left early. Freekin Nightmare.
After our initial problem was solved, it was much better. The staff was very helpful. The restaurant food was ok but the service was very slow, and not much else around to go and eat!
My husband is handicapped and had a problem with the room, they changed it the next day. The train is very noisy, especially at night when you are trying to sleep!
Staff, comfortable room, good price.
The staff was nice.
Trains sounding off all day & night, Couldn't sit up in bed without the bed rolling away from the headboard. Awful TV and channel selection. No conditioner in the shower. Bad neighborhood.
dirty-poor parking-room cleaning not done twice-train passing all the time-pool cold-lousy shower -elevator broken-poor customer service
It was cheap
The train whistle from the trains that ran by the property late into the night. The walls are also pretty thin
Room was clean
Reserved a room and arived at 6AM. Ask front desk to give us a courtesy call when ready & was told we would have to check back at 11 :( checked back every hr for 4 hrs !! Before room was ready while we sit in parking lot and watched people leaving steadily from 9AM.:(
The main entrance and the lobby are very nice, but once you leave the lobby its another story. The pool area could be beautiful and relaxing if cleaned up. The lounge chairs are worn out and should be re-webbed. Tables were filthy. Pavers around the pool were covered with some sort of berries off the palm trees. They might as well have used cigarette butts for mulch in the landscaping. They were everywhere. Very nasty! Awful, loud music played from 8 am until 11 pm everyday! Totally annoying and not necessary! The hallways and walkways and railings are very dirty. I felt like I had to wash my hands every time I touched something. Elevators were filthy and were out of order most of the time. Rooms were clean but beds were horrible. Dirty throw on the bed. Toilet seat was broken. No cold water in our room for 2 days, just scalding hot water. No fridge or microwave in the room. Passenger trains went by every 15 - 20 min. blowing their horns all day and night. Restaurant/bar is terrible. Waited one hour for a tough, dried up chicken sandwich that was totally inedible. Manager didn't seem to care, blamed it on the morning cook. It was in the evening! Charged us $32 for 4 house vodka drinks and charged for the mixers separately. Waited 45 min to get our check. Not many other choices for food nearby except for MacDonalds and Waffle House. Neighborhood was scary after dark. I wouldn't want to be stuck there without a car if you plan on going out. Wi-Fi was hard to log into. I would never stay there again.
Not very clean and old breakfast too expensive
Location, pool area, bed,
A six day Stay No dishes, also phone did not work, no Hot Water, and Safe did not work told front desk but it never did get fixed
