Small rooms and very small parking lot
room was clean, quiet area, accessible and we felt secure.
bed uncomfortable, high price for small room, ref. froze food(very important when traveling w/small children), staff not avail. only to ck in/not to ck out, no safe avail.
Location is great
Checked into non-clean room
Close to Universal Studios and a 7-11 shop but that's it.
The first room we were put in had cockroaches. The inn was suppose to have disney channel never did and despite asking about three times about it I got the feeling I was just being fobbed off. Room was also advertised as including breakfast but all this was is a donut and a coffee.
Nothing at all
The room was alittle small but it was fine for my needs
Convenient location to my destination.
9/14/14 stay was miserable. 100+ temp and my door was standing wide open, no air turned on. Carpet was dirty, obviously not vacuumed. TV did not work. Phone did not work until I disconnected cable and plugged it back in. Found a piece from a computer under the bed, so it wasn't cleaned. Looked like someone had smeared a big booger on the wall. Bathroom fan was not fitted into ceiling. Door key would not work and had to find the maid when I wanted back in.
The location was perfect and the aesthetic was very old fashioned and cute. It was perfect for its price. Exactly what I expected
The beds were tiny so my husband and I slept in separate beds. But, that added to the 1950s inn feel.
This place is near a lot of restaurants and bars, walking distance or a very short can ride can rigth.
Shower was roomy with good water pressure and temperature. The flat screen TV was nice.
I was expecting a basic but clean motor lodge and what I received was a totally run down flea bag Inn. Room size was basic but the bathroom was so small without even a shelf, I had to place my toiletries on the microwave in the room. The upkeep was totally decrepid with the paint peeling, mold everywhere, dirty carpets, and cockroaches. The linen was washed and the bed well made but was terribly stained and worn. The mattress and box spring were totally worn out and the bed creaked at the slightest movement. They advertised a free breakfast but didn't open up until 8. They provided nothing but coffee, O.J. and a few packaged items in a small basket. No fruit, pastries, or anything fresh. Not a good place at any price but at $92/night it was a total rip.
Original price quote of $90 per night changed to $144 per night somehow. Fridge, cable TV didnt work properly.
The only thing I like is that is close to universal studios.
Didn't lie the bed the bathroom the carpet evrything so old, an it smells really bad, won't stay their again...
Comfortable, inexpensive, close to my kids.
A little small but not bad for one person
The beds wore to uncomfortable. The AC smelled like mildew. My vehicle got hit and they expected me to go out and buy a USB so they could tell me who hit it witch is bullshit because if it's in your property you should of done everything possible to try and fix the situation.
Near close Universal Studios! Less than 5-7 minutes. No freeway needed.
Mostly everything. It's family owned so basically the owners live there I think. If your traveling by yourself and staying one day. This would be ok. Not for a family vacation. Take my advice.
Close to the Studios.
Mattress is very uncomfortable and noise.
The place was small but clean. Our cooler was missing pieces but it still worked. Breakfast was a small honey bun and coffe. For 186.00 a night it wasn't worth the price but as far as parking is was great. I parked right outside the door
The breakfast. No phone pieces missing off cooler. Small for the price
The bed squeaked not enough, shower presure no hot water and a very bad breakfast.
It's in Studio City on Ventura Blvd.
Beware!! Beware!!!Slum Hotel Owner!!!!!We based our decision on booking this room on what the Hotel supposedly offered. Free wifi and cable etc for the price we were quoted. When we got there, we were told they don't offer free wifi or cable and it was a misprint that they are aware of. So basically they know they are advertising false amenities but have done nothing to change it. We were told by the front desk that if we didn't like it to call the owner Alex. So I called Alex and he cussed me out and said too bad, he won't do anything to accommodate us and people don't get a hotel to go on vacation to use wifi and watch cable tv anyways. What a pathetic excuse for a business owner. Booking.com is great, they have been helping to rectify the situation. But beware of paying anything over $40-$50 to stay at this hotel. Spend the extra $ and go to a reputable establishment down the street. Don't get ripped off.
Staff is kind and patiently. we can walking for 20 mins to Univesal Studio from the motel.
Room is dirty, small , except the location it is not a good chioce.
Worst experience ever
Room served its purpose. Friendly staff, clean room, small but comfy. Close to Universal Studios.
This place was horrible. The first room they put us in wasn't bad, but the toilet kept backing up (I guess the plunger outside the door of the room should have been a clue). So, they moved us to another room. The key would not open the door. The third room they moved us to had an A/C unit that was from the 1960's (no exaggeration). It kept me awake all night, intermittenly making snapping, popping, crackling sounds that made me feel that it might be some sort of electrical/fire hazard. When I complained, the female "manager" on duty just blew it off, making a "Pbbbffft" sound, and not saying a word. I was deprived of a night's sleep, which was the only reason I chose to stay in the LA area rather than driving home to Fresno that night. I did not get what I paid for, and felt that my life may have been endangered, too. I want a full refund. I may even report this to the BBB, and the health/building department in Studio City. In my opinion, this property should be condemned.
