good price for key west

window unit a/c that didnt cool entire room, we had a double room with only one tv and one a/c in one room

My son and I liked the fact you could rent bikes right at the hotel, the pool and the garden in the center was very nice. The staff was very nice and very helpful. Awesome location!

The rooms were quite old, which would have been okay, except the mattresses were very hard. Also, window shaker a/c in one room that had to feed into other room. What happens if there are 2 couples and they need privacy?

I liked the location. 3 blocks from A nice beach. always had parking space. really liked the pool.

the bathroom commode was not clean. but the rest of the room was not fancy but comparable to the price.

The staff was from the beginning always very friendly and helpful. our room was nice size and absolutely clean. The pool area is very nice if you just want to relax. By accident I left my lights from my truck running for 3 days. My trucks battery was dead when we wanted to leave. My girlfriend ask the lady at the receptionist for jumper cables. She provided us in no time with the cables and one of her staff Members helped us jumping my truck. What nice people. El Patio is an excellent location for a home base for any trip to Key West. Good sized comfortable rooms, a beautiful tropical setting with an awesome rooftop deck, and easy access by bike to all of Key West.

Great location 1,6 miles (2,5 km) to Mallory Square, parking free, good wi-fi, pool, 2 beds, 2 bedrooms, expensive for its standard, but good option due to high prices in Key West

The originality (Old Key West).Close to "Olde Town". Quiet.Clean. The desk clerk who checked us in on April 27, 2013 was very nice and accomodated our every need.

Noisy AC. Hard to hear audio on TV

Motel was dirty, bathroom with rust and brown area, Large bugs were in the dresser. NO TV in room, no microwave either. Pictures on internet was not what was seen when visited. Staff did not open front office till late, Staff parked in handicap parking area. Air conditioner only one, other room only had ceiling fan. Would not recommend to anyone.

Close to town center by foot, nice patios for siting and relaxing, quiet.

Staff helpful, but seemed more interested in her phone, computer than conversing with customers.

The rooftop sundeck was great for chilling when the sun goes down, also the pool which has natural shade later in the afternoon. Walking distance to public beaches, Duval Street and Southernmost Point. Rooms have their own charm.

The rooms were missing some TLC, ie shower tiles seemed in need of a proper clean, mould on the closet wall.

Central courtyard and fountain were a pleasant addition.

The location was great.

Our two bedroom suite (second floor #17) had one a/c window unit for two bedrooms. One room was cold the other room was hot. No money put into updating. We heard loud banging doors all night coming from within motel. Ironic because we picked this place because we wanted to get away from the noise near Duval.

The motel is ridiculous overpriced. Even if Key West is expensive

It was clean, within walking distance of most of Key West's hot spots, within walking distance of the beach, and it had parking.

It's a little bit run down and the accommodations were on the basic side.

No elevators to secind floor, 2 bedroom suite. TV in only one BR, Window air conditioning in other BR, those that slept in front room had to walk through 2nd BR to us bathroom very inconvenient, bathroom very, very small!!!!. No coffee pot or microwave. Alot of small things. I was there about 3 weeks before paid same price at Sheraton as I did what a difference .wound not stay at El Patio again!!!!!

We were looking to save money and this hotel helped us do just that. The facilities were clean and the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

My only real complaint would be that there weren't enough outlets in the room. In order to charge your phone, use a hair dryer, etc., you had to unplug the air conditioner, a lamp, or the refridgerator. This wouldn't be a big enough reason for me not to return to the hotel, but it was annoying at times when everyone was trying to get ready at once.

It was a great location for us and at a great price. Very clean and a very nice staff. It is in a quiet neighborhood with a short walk to the beach & the sights. Easy check in too!

They did not have coffee in the rooms or onsite.
