Very friendly and helpful staff. The room is clean and good.
Wifi sometimes doesn't work.
Williams a must do route 66 this motel good value
Friendly staff. The room had MAV TV.
Good location - only 1 hour drive to Grand Canyon. Really nice and helpful staff - we arrived very late at night, the key was waiting for us, light and heat in the room were on, very cosy. In the morning they advised us where to have breakfast and buy some food to take with us. Clean room, no noise from the street. Will definetely stay again when visiting Canyon next time
I was so late to get there. So I worried about ckecking in but the owner of motel took care of my family. She put the room key in the mail box with note. And it was freezing cold outside but she also turned heater on in the room. As her caring we could stay there very warmly.
Friendly, real, welcoming staff/owners. Clean. Carefully maintained and managed.
Staff was awesome..parking was tricky with the snow only because people couldnt see were to park..rooms were nice we didnt know there was a fridge and microwave in them until we checked in ..
This is the most memorable motel we met during our eight-day xmas trip. The owner of the motel is a warm and lovely lady. She introduced the nice town, Williams, for us when we checked in and reminded us the coming snow storm, which was actually very useful information for our later trip. The room was clean and comfortable. BTW, Williams is an interesting small town, worthy stopping by if you visit Grand Canyon.
The wifi was not good.
- We really enjoyed Williams on our way back home in california after visiting Grand canyon. The El rancho motel was in the road 66, at walking distance of restaurants. - The owner are very nice and helpful. - It was cold and snowing outside and the heat was perfect. -
We come to Williams every year and this was the first positive hotel experience we've had. The management was EXTREMELY friendly and helpful. We had a few minor issues, but were resolved enthusiastically by the staff. Very fair price, very clean rooms, very accommodating to requests.
All minor: the refrigerator is so small we couldn't fit many items (milk, restaurant to-go containers) and the shower needs repair or replacement. Didn't work at all initially. Mgmt worked on it promptly so that it functioned, but the water still varies hot and cold while showering. That was tricky with kids. Still, the price and the wonderful customer service certainly made up for small inconveniences.
Not much. Our room was on the first floor.
No towels, old room had a smell, no hot water, bathroom door did not close, no wifi. Complained in hopes of getting things fixed or money returned, but was given excuses instead. Paid $75. Not worth $7.
You'd never know this was an older motel built in the 1950s. The room was very clean and the microwave and refrigerator were a plus. Also located next to a gas station and convenience store. Simply a great value!
The El Rancho motel is an excellent example of a classic Route 66 motel. It is not run down like some I have had the displeasure of staying in before.
The wifi may need to be looked at. I could never pick up the router on any of my devices but oddly I could pick up the motel across the street. This is a minor inconvenience for me but it is advertised as offered.
Convenient location within walking distance to shops, restaurants and the railway station
Wifi didn't work
- Comfortable, clean, and reasonable - An hour's drive to south rim grand canyon
nice long counter by frig
very small bathroom
Manager on duty was very nice and friendly. Only 49+ tax in single room. Easy to find coming from Grand Canyon.
Wi-Fi was out, phone was out. I was happy to be in second floor for the squeaky structure. Insist a room that is not facing the railroad.
No wifi, the password didn't work for anybody. The phones were broke in every room. You couldn't call the front desk to report on a broken toilet. First floor rooms were noisy from above. No shampoo in rooms, only soap.
It was comfortable, friendly and the price was right. You can't go wrong staying here.
The room configuration was great and the beds were very comfortable. Great location.
The front desk girl was kind and gave us great places to try.
The beds were awful..... There was good left in our fridge from previous guest.... The bathroom looked like some stuff was glued together to keep it from falling apart. The shower head is great for anyone 5 ft and shorter. If you're taller you have to bend down or break your neck trying to wash your hair.
The receptionist was very friendly and helpfull, room was clean, walking distance to everything in town
Erika at front desk was very friendly and very knowledgable about the town. No hair dyer in room, but she provided one for us to use from behind desk. Also forgot a bottle opener and was provided with one.
