El Rancho Motel  

In spite of being old (circa 1950's or '60's), it was very adequate and the owner/manager was very nice and very helpful. We wanted to find an inexpensive but adequate and comfortable place, and the El Rancho met those needs very well. We did not have any problem with noise which was one of the complaints I saw online (after I made the reservation!). We were lucky because the people in the next room were audible for a short while. The walls are thin so noise COULD be a problem. My impression: the manager would put a stop to noise if there were a complaint.

It is quite a long way from stores and restaurants. No place for early risers to go before 0700.

The location is excellent, it overlooks a golf course and the vicinity is all green. It's also close to freeway as well as the ocean. The farms nearby give it a special sense of being in a countryside . The price we paid was outrageous for a motel without even an internet connection . Granted, it was a busy weekend but that do not justify the rate!

The manager was very friendly and helpful. He went out of his way to accommodate our salmon fishing party with fish storage. The motel is strategically located to Moss Landing and is a perfect place to base out of for a two day salmon fishing trip. It is clean and is a good deal.

Für die Durchreise von San Francisco nach Los Angeles ein super Motel. Liegt am Highway nr. 1 und ist sehr günstig und sauber in einer sehr ruhigen Lage.

The motel in general was ok but overpriced. should be in the $60 range.

None....

1. Phone is dead. You can get sued if there's any emergency. 2. Noisy heater 3. Never stuff 2 pillows into one pillow case to make one high pillow. Why? Because it makes the pillow hard. 4. Bed needs a bit softer. 5. Front office looks like a chicken coupe. It needs overhaul. 6. Front office staff needs to be friendly and needs how to greet your guest. 7. I will never ever go back to this place..........

スタッフは旅の者に無関心を示してくれるけど、困ったときはいつでも助けてくれる。 ゲストをいい具合に放っておいてくれるし、古いだろうに清潔な部屋でした。 観光地からちょっと離れて、旅の疲れを取るには、最高のモーテル！ 治安も安心です。

モーテルの問題ではなく、近所の畑の肥料の匂い。 オーガニックに天然の肥やしをつかっているからこその田舎の香水。 風向きの関係で一瞬だったけど、ちょっと懐かしかった。 気になる場合は、窓を閉めたら全く大丈夫。

Location is good room is clean

I was expecting a water bottle but they charged for it.

Price, clean room, friendly staff, proximity to golf course restaurant (across road).

Needs lots of work on exterior. Quite old and rough looking. Remote location for anything other than golf. Hopefully, management is working on fixing up the outside appearance. Lobby is really shabby looking as well.

El Rancho was a cute little motel. It was clean, comfortable, and affordable, and they provided an extra blanket that we requested. My only criticism is that that room could have had more at least one more bath towel, and wash cloths. (No wash cloths were in the room). All we needed was a place to sleep (got in late, left early) and El Rancho Motel met our needs.

The motel was clean and staff good. They have potted plants that are well maintained.

The place is really run down. The sign in front is falling apart and in need of paint. The outside maintenance of the building is poor.
