Elan Hotel  

The best hotel i have ever stayed,at the age of 51 i have travelled a lot and this hotel was one of the best.The Staff were great the moment we arrived they went out of their way to be helpful.The rooms are good ,location good,wine and cheese every afternoon.What more can i say,well done William and the team.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very clean facilities. Location was good between Hollywood and Beverly Hills, Next to shopping and transport. The hotel provides some nice extras such as complimentary happy hour. A bit far from Downtown LA but close to tourist attractions and restaurants. We had a very pleasant stay.

Rooms a little on the small side but quite adequate

Location. Close to where I needed to be. Very friendly staff. Valet service.

Their was a guest who came knocking on our door at 12:30 at night. She said my husband was snoring and they couldn't relocate her to another room. Very upset about that. No pool.

The hotel was very clean and tidy and staff were more than helpful.

Tv didnt change channel, and wasnt fixed for the second night. Fridge on first night was turn off every thing inside was warm.

The staff were very helpful, friendly and always eager to assist in any way possible. The rooms were spotless and with great amenities. The breakfast meals were fresh & substantial and the "wine & cheese " in the evenings added a nice touch for everyone staying there. This is my 4th stay at the Elan, where I find the location very handy to places of interest to me , I would not consider staying anywhere else on my trips to LA & would certainly recommend it to anyone who is looking for accomodation in LA. Everything was better than expected.

The location is excellent.

There was no in house Restaurant for dining.

The staff were fantastic. So helpful and friendly. The breakfast was also a bonus.

Could do with a refurb. The rooms are starting to look pretty dated.

Elan Hotel is a very comfortable and nice hotel and I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The hotel is very tastefully decorated and its location is convenient. Staff were friendly and helpful.

I really loved the personal touch in what may be considered an impersonal City. We were made to feel very welcome by all the staff. Hotel was very clean throughout, andvthe room was spotless (and with free wifi)! Location was excellent for us and a good base to explore la for the first time. The free Cheese and Wine in the afternoon was a great touch. This was appreciated massively when we arrived late on the first day (lost in the la traffic system) and were given a bottle of wine for our room. Thank you very much to all the Staff at the élan - you have a great little Hotel

Fantastic location for shopping-close to Beverly Center Mall, Farmer's Market the Grove, Melrose Road shopping precinct. Also less than a 5- minute walk to the hop-on, hop-off bus stop so you can tour around la and get back to the hotel easily. Staff are extra-friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and comfortable. And if you are headed to the airport, they will arrange a taxi with a very reasonable fixed price. Loved the wine and cheese tasting sessions in the evening and the complimentary Continental breakfast offered a great spread.

Common areas and rooms look a bit 'tired'.......could do with some renovation and 'smartening' up. Make the sign outside a bit bigger or reposition it to make the hotel a bit more conspicuous from the street, so that it stands out from its surrounding buildings

we spent 5 excellent days in LA, in our honeymoon. Elan hotel was superb from all points of view: location, confort, services. An extra plus for the wine and cheese served from 5 to 7 pm. everything was just great
