The soup and cookies were a nice touch especially after spending a day at the beach. The rooms were great.

Pool signage non-existent...we shouldn't have to hunt for the pool and staff said "just follow the ramp" but once in the garage we still couldn't find it. We're paying for a pool, make it available. Staff couldn't recommend a good Mexican restaurant on Cinco de Mayo. Every other hotel we stayed at along the coast from SFO had a list of local dining options and other local interests. Glossy brochures didn't help us find a good place to eat. Your hotel should make a point of marketing the harbor street shops. Your elevator is horrible. Guests shouldn't have to wait 2-3 minutes to wait for an elevator. BEACH ACCESS!!! Other hotels have stairs...you should too.

The noise from neighbors at night, and checkin at 4:00 PM and check out at 11:00 AM..for $150, I would've preferred either an earlier checkin or later check out.

Great ocean beach view and good location. Nice décor; comfortable bed. Pleasant staff. Reasonably priced.

Room was too warm. Since we couldn't control the temperature, we left the balcony sliding door ajar. Otherwise, no negatives.

The room was beautiful with view of ocean, fireplace, terry bath robes, elegant furnishings. The salmon chowder and fresh baked cookies in the lobby were also wonderfully welcoming touches. the full breakfast in the morning was very nice too.

the facilities were great. Breakfast buffet was nice. Cookies, chowder and movies in the lobby were over the top!

NO recycling inrooms or food areas.

The room was big and well decorated. It overlooked the beach and had a terrific balcony!

Lighting could have been brighter. The gas fireplace didn't work but they quickly fixed it. It continued to work until the timer went off. When we tried a few hours later we would have had to call to main desk to relight it. We chose to go without rather than have someone make another visit. But it's too bad because it gives the room a wonderful feel!

Salmon chowder at 5, cookies at 8, no bedspread, crisp linens, plenty of pillows and comfy bed. Furniture in room to relax.

Spacious room, comfy bed, lots of pillows, gorgeous view, fireplace and lots of toiletries. Free coffee, and cookies were a nice surprise.

The gas pireplace is nice when it's storming outside.

We loved the size of the room, the fireplace, the view, the courtesy of service, the cookies. It was a lovely stay, and we'll be back.

ONe of the sheets on our bed had a stain. It made us feel that it was not a clean sheet.

The room was clean. Great view of Ocean. Serves delicious salmon chowder at 5pm and fresh baked cookies at 8pm. Also has a well stocked breakfast.

No matter what room you have, the view of the ocean is up front and personal!

Breakfast was included but the food was so-so. We chose to eat out. One thing that might help or make it seem more special would be the use of non-disposable dishes etc.

I loved the nightly chowder. The view from our room was spectacular. Sunrise every morning over the Pacific Ocean. The view from the pool and the workout room was fantastic as well. Super comfortable beds - I slept like a dream.

The work-out room was lame. At least the treadmill worked so I was able to get my runs in so I wasn't completely disappointed.

The room was just like the photo showed on their web page. No surprise. No disapointment.

Good location to be able to walk to Nye Beach as well as restaurants. The pool and jacuzzi are salt water and nice to have no smell instead of the chlorine smell of most hotel pools. Beautiful ocean view, we were lucky as we were there on two beautiful November days. Comfortable bed and great pillows. My husband and I will stay at Elizabeth Street Inn again. We also like being able to park our car in the parking garage. The hot breakfast was good and filling with lots variety.

The pool was a little chilly. The coolness may have been more from a blowing fan but was not able to warm up even after swimming several laps,

Staff were very warm and welcoming and thoughtful. Breakfast, cookies, chowder, all good. And the pool was lovely. Also the room was very spacious, with balcony, great ocean view, and gas fireplace. And very clean.

The gas fireplace only worked sometimes (though I mentioned it at check out and the maintenance man was there and set off to fix it immediately). And 2 of the 3 cardio machines in the exercise room weren't working.

Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. Awesome balcony view of the ocean. Nice clean rooms with fireplace and robes. Complimentary breakfast; evening salmon chowder; and cookies. Close to dining, shopping, and sightseeing activities.

All three exercise equipment were broken. Jacuzzi could have been cleaner.

The views, breakfast, chowder, cookies all add up to a great price! Always clean, comfortable and convenient.

Parking. Off street was available in parking garage . . . but we barely made it by inches under clearance. We did drive a truck ~ but not jacked up or anything.
