wifi did not work, a bit pricy for the are but hotel worked out alright
clean room, soft beds, quiet
Friendly staff...great room! Would love to go back.
The neighborhood... it's in the Tenderloin district
The hotel is located in a neighborhood with MANY homeless people and people who are on something (drunk/drugs), but it is possible to walk away from it on okay streets.
I like the rooms and the facilities in the room
Price, location, noise, parking expenses 3$ per hour or 24 per day, homeless around the hotel
Comfortable bed, very clean room
I liked the gentleness of all the staff-very helpful.
The breakfast was more basic than we'd like, even for the value, same every morning. We tipped for the staff, not the food!
All staff were extremely courteous and helpful at all times. We are second time visitors, from NZ, to the USA and have both times found the people to be wonderful!
The area outside of the hotel was not great.
The room was great. The parking was affordable.
I requested handicap and my husband could not use the shower because he could not raise his leg over the bathtub. Their are no thermostats to regulate the temperature. I've never been in a hotel room without that! The rugs were stained and the website made it appear better than what it was. I'm still a Marriott 's fan.
The breakfast was good and the staff was friendly and very helpful.
Not the best location and lacked a few amenities, like no pool and not a great selection for breakfast.
Staff was super friendly and helpful. Free shuttles was nice.
The maid service was poor. Every day we had to ask for things they forgot: towels, coffee, shampoo, etc.
The front desk staff were amazing and very helpful.
The hotel is located in a back alley and you see the homeless and many shady characters. It was quite scary walking alone at night. Stay away if you are a single traveller or intend to be out alone at night.
I can't say enough how helpful the staff here are. And it extended to areas that were not related to the hotel. I needed to confirm a tour and could not get thro the agency and Latoya from the front desk helped confirm it and arrange the pick up time which was a real help. Rooms were comfy and had all the basic amenities. Good security as you need the room keys to activate the lifts. The hotel also offers free shuttle to most tourist places like Union Square and Fisherman's Wharf and this is really helpful.
too much humid in our room, too cold as well. Neighborhood was not the best.
Breakfast could be better .
Very friendly and helpful staff . Shuttle service was useful and convenient .
Nice hotel Free Wifi Breakfast included Walking distance to Moscone Center
Heator was too noisy.
Parking was expensive. Breakfast was average and they kept running out of food.
Nice little place to stay, great location, and the staff was super friendly.
Room has no air-conditioner. The breakfasts are lousy and inadequate.
breakfast was not up to par. toast was pre-toasted and put into a covered bin. so it was not warm of course...
the modern feel of it.
Free shuttle to main places in San Francisco. Food is great, also the service is awesome. I would definitely stay here again for my next visit to San Fran.
(The rough) Did not feel safe in the neighbourhood of the hotel.
(Diamond) Good hotel, good staff, good room.
Breakfast choice is limited No swimming pool
Clean Spacious rooms Comfortable beds Large safety box USB Power charger Curtains did darken room completely
A great place with extremely helpful and friendly staff! Just several blocks away from Union Square and close to Chinatown. On the top floor there is a terrace with a beautiful view of the city. There are some homeless people in the neighborhood (a church nearby offers food and shelter), but they are not aggressive. If someone feels uncomfortable with that, the hotel offers shuttle services to Union Square, Moscone Center, Fisherman's Wharf, and Japantown. I think Cova hotel offers one of the best value-for-money deals in San Francisco.
Very poor location. Lots of postitutes, homeless, people selling and using drugs in broad daylight in the Tenderloin district. I wouldn't want to walk around alone at night here.
Charming hotel. Great staff and very accommodating with their free shuttle services around the city. Easy access to main areas of the city.
We were kept awake all night by alley noise reverberated off of our lovely brick wall view. The free breakfast is scant.
