Staff very nice. Room was fine for the price. Breakfast just O.K.

I did not like the neighborhood. Some streets were very uncomfortable to walk down. We would NOT walk to the hotel at night from Union Square. Don't know if I would choose to stay there in the future because of this.

That we only stayed for two nights.

Not family-friendly, uncomfortable rooms, no-inroom thermostats...only a table fan, given a fifth floor room with glass doors that open with no lock and I'm traveling with a young child.

I was pleasonly supprise about the comfort of hotel rooms; from the location, to the services of the staff which did everything to make my stay enjoyable. I would stay there again.

I like the spacous rooms, staff willingness to help.

Decent facilities with spacious rooms & panoramic views from the 8th floor terrace. Staff were friendly, easy to talk to & willing to assist with any problems such as directions, booking cabs etc... The regular shuttle bus to Union Square or Fisherman's Wharf was a big help & allowed us to get around the City.

Unfortunately location was awful, being in the Tenderloin district, we were surrounded by numerous homeless people, gangs & drug dealers. Realise this is not the hotel's fault, but you never felt safe walking around the area, especially at night! Also found the Continental breakfast limited.

Attentive front desk crew, very comfortable, clean and quiet rooms, included breakfast. Excellent price value!

Business center workstations need to be updated. Breakfast is ok, when it's free, but as a continental option it's still limited and boring, if you stay more than a few nights.

Location - really poor - I know that in every urban area you get issues but went for a walk around the block looking for a restaurant with the family - within two minutes encountered many homeless people, drug dealers, etc. Also very strong smell of cannabis around the corner. Not impressed. Unbelievable this sort of thing in America really. Hotel staff do not seem to be bothered with this. When checking out at about 6am - told there was no one to help with out luggage - had to go downstairs and get trolley ourselves - front reception was not even manned - then appeared a sleepy reception person - only to keep yawning and was quite rude when checking out - didnt even to offer to help with the luggage - was travelling with my elderly in laws, wife and sister - in - law with lots of luggage - thought this was really bad. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE - read the reviews before you book this place, I learnt that cheap is not always cheerful. Would be tempted to make a formal complaint but not sure if they would even be bothered to read my letter. This is now how you run a hotel, and I have stayed in lots all over the world, with this being the worst!

The staff was amazing. They were friendly and helpful. We loved using the shuttle every day and having breakfast available. Great value! We would stay again.

Not in the best of neighborhoods, but no one bothered us. They also need to add a mirror in the bedroom section. Traveling with 4 females warrants additional mirrors for getting ready in the mornings.

The staff was great. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The shuttle was one of the best parts, it helped us a lot. I would stay there again & would recommend it.

Older Hotel but very well renovated. Not the best section of town, but has a shuttle taking you to main areas.

Location not the best. Would not feal save walking the streets at night. Has a shuttle.
