Great staff, location and breakfast. Comfortable bed. Convenient and reasonable parking rate. Nice European atmosphere and design. First room offerred did not have A/C. A/C in next room worked but sounded like motor needed attention. Elevator required patience. |

Hotel Elysee is a gem of a hotel. Our room was small but clean and comfortable. We loved meeting other guests during breakfast and afternoon complimentary wine and cheese. Great location for exploring New York. There really isn't much not to like about Hotel Elysee. If I had to choose something I guess it would be having to wait for the sole elevator. Having said that, we were never in a great rush, so waiting a few minutes for the quaint lift to arrive was no great hardship. |

Everything at the hotel is nice. It is definitely a hotel that I would go back. I did not like the hassle to find a table at breakfast. |

The hotel is outstanding in so many ways from the lovely rooms to the exquisite flower arrangements throughout to the exceptional breakfast. But what stands out most was the warmth and graciousness of the staff, especially the young, hip crowd working the front desk. I felt they were as vested in our weekend as we were and intent on making sure it was memorable! |

Hotel Elysee was in a great location, away from the hustle and bustle and yet near to the main attractions and the subway. The staff were very friendly, and our room was very clean and comfortable. In fact, the bed and linens were probably the most comfortable that I have slept in. Our room was quiet and cozy, the bathroom was well equipped and the continental breakfast selections were good. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel very much. Not meaning to quibble, but the hair dryer in the bathroom was archaic and inefficient. |

I liked the large room size, the facilties in the room, the friendliness and helpfulness of staff; the excellent breakfast and option for evening drinks. It was a wonderful hotel. One elevator only was problematic at times. |

The club room ...coffee, tea , breakfast wine and snacks. Awesome and very convienient The only nit pic would be the door to the stairs from the 2nd floor club room locked not allowing us to walk up to our room on the 5th floor form the 2nd. We were forced to use the elevator .. not a big deal though |

I really liked the atmosphere of the hotel, the location of it, professional and friendly staff, and cheese and wine reception. I did not like the old and noisy air-conditioner in the room and absence of ventilation in my bathroom. |

The staff was helpful, polite. I requested a room at the back, which was very quiet. The hotel generally is a quiet place, yet centrally situated, very easy to get to everywhere. The elevator was somewhat slow, and being the only one. But the waiting can sometimes help to slow down the rushed pace. |

The Hotel is well positioned - close to Central Park, Museums as well as Madison & Fifth Avenues. The tea, coffee & cookies that were available throughout the day were most enjoyable, especially after hours of sight seeing! The snacks and wine that were served on weekday evenings were always a most pleasant end to the day and gave us an opportunity to relax before embarking on our evening outings. We felt that these extras, in addition to the breakfasts that were served, made this a value-for-money Hotel. Noisy air conditioner in our room. |

The hotel was beautiful, small and quiet, and it was in an excellent location. I thought the front desk staff could have been more knowledgeable as concierges. They were very friendly, helpful and nice; they just weren't as well informed as they could have been. |

Wonderful central location close to Central Park, friendly staff and well appointed room. The evening reception was a delightful bonus. One of the best hotel stays we've had. Highly recommended. |

It is elegant and was served a good continental breakfast. Access to Internet is free. There is only one elevator. The area around the hotel is pretty noisy and there are no anti-noisy windows in the rooms. |

Location was good and the breakfast was fine, but the staff at this hotel don't clean the bathroom floors or wipe away the dust and the room smelt stuffy - oh and the towels were burnt from too much washing. Despite complaining to the staff, the situation did not change and I would not stay there again or recommend others do so. The place needs to be refurbished, the bar was shut and generally it felt worn out. |

The hotel is very comfortable and one does not feel cramped. It is quite near to the subway, which makes it easy to get about. It is not flashy, but has an understated luxury, which makes it most attractive. Staff are always pleasant and helpful. We will always try and use the Elysee in future and recommend it to our friends. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Tea making facility in the room would be nice. |

The hotel was small and personal. The staff was accomodating from the time you arrived. The breakfast and wine and cheese time was lovely. It provided time to relax before taking on the city for the day/evening. The air conditioner was noisy and I had an effect on the quality of sleep. Even though the bed was very comfortable. The pillows were rather soft to my liking. - The staff was apologized for the noise and would have it looked at. |

From the moment we arrived, my partner and I loved our stay athe the Elysée. Staff at the desk and throughout the hotel were welcoming, courteous and helpful without being intrusive. Nothing seemed too much trouble: there were even umbrellas available when it rained. The rooms were lovely, and the breakfast and lounge refreshment facilities were excellent - an oasis of quiet and calm even at the peak breakfast times. Our room was always quiet, even though it was next to the elevator. It was spacious and comfortable, with a well-stocked and nicely laid-out bathroom. The in-room safe was easy to use and of good size even with 2 laptops and other items. We welcomed the free wireless internet access, and the computer and printing facilities next to the lounge. It is a great base to explore New York City, and to come back to rest. We would have liked to be able to make tea and coffee in our room, and the small number of elevators was a problem when demand was high. |
