Comfortable room, nice and helpfull staff, excellent position.

A bit noisy. We were on the top floor (15) but at night you could constantly hear noises coming from the street. Bed sheets had a couple of holes in them. Not a big issue but not acceptable seeing the price of the hotel.

Everything except the matress which was awful.

Little bit noisy, but like everywhere in NYC

The entire set-up is great - from the inclusive breakfast, coffee and snacks through the day, free wine and cheese reception in the evening, and free wi-fi. But even better is the staff, all were great, but Mike at the front desk went out of his way to accommodate me on my last day waiting for my flight.

The location was fabulous. Close to Central Park and to 5th Ave shops. Easy walk to Times Square. Loved the spacee in the Rooms - very spacious for NY.

Great attentive staff but not intrusive. Checkin was a snap and also got clear info on hotel with encouragement to use the facilities and take advantage of evening reception and complimentary breakfast.

Quiet-Good location

Lovely helpful staff - room looking out onto street was really lovely, breakfast and evening wine/cheese was great, lovely atmosphere and fantastic location.

First room looked out onto aircon outlets and was dark and noisy but they quickly changed us and second room was absolutely lovely and more what we had expected.

We founds the location for visiting the city very good. The staff were extremely friendly and professional.

The sound proofing of the room (77) was not very good. There was a high level of street noise in the room at all times.

First and foremost the staff at the Front Desk. All very helpful, friendly, and available. Rich in particular went the extra mile. Then the location, excellent indeed, at one stone throw of everything. Finally, the room we were assigned, from the second day onward, with a little terrace on the 14th floor, which was much better than the one we were originally given upon our arrival which was just about ok. Breakfast in the morning was excellent and again people very friendly, feeling home.

Rooms looking at the back are noisy, not for the traffic but for the conditioning machine. Rooms in the front looking at 54th street are better, and noise is minimal. The bathrooms need to be restructured making them more modern.

Nice hotel with very friendly people. If you like upper 5th avenue (very chic with expensive shops) and Central parc it is a perfect location for you. Also the metro is very near to go everywhere in Manhattan. As a tourist probably a hotel in the south of Manhattan is preferable in terms of location. The hotel itself is very nice, very clean, quite confortable and very chic. It is true that the whine and biscuits in the afternoon are a real plus. So I can fully recommend the hotel

First time in ny, so probably everywhere the same but you cannot really easily get fresh air in the room, our room was quite dark and also relatively noisy as in front is the street (we then changed) and in the back are the air conditioners outside with a lot of noise too (now we did not change any more :-))

Excellent for an indulgent stay in New York. Great location. Helpful, friendly staff. The Monkey Bar does good cocktails.

Odd arrangement for breakfast - in the lounge, so not at proper tables. The lounge fills up at peak breakfast times, and it's not obvious that there's also a side room which may have room; we actually skipped breakfast one day because it was so full. The breakfast itself was a fairly limited cold buffet - not what we'd expected from a good city hotel.

The staff were very attentive and helpful. The food was excellent. There was coffee and tea available almost 24 hours as well as fruit and biscuit. Early evening was nibbles wine and champagne. The room was not too small and smartly furnished. All in all a lovely experience.

Noisy air conditioning unit.

extremely comfortable and staff very friendly and welcoming. Breakfasts were good and I liked being able to help myself to coffee whenever I came in. Standard of accommodation was good and the bed was very comfortable. Highly recommended and hope to stay at hotel if I return to New York

noise from the street which kept me awake at times. Did not find out that hotel had help for that till the morning we were leaving, will know better next time.

The Front Desk Staff was excellent. They answered all our questions, and gave us guidance as to the best way to get to the various sites. Location, close to subway, shows, restaurants, and tourists attractins, i.e., Times Square, Central Park, and Radio City Music Hall. We liked the Continental Breakfast, which not only saved on food cost, but allowed us to plan the days activities in a pleasant atmosphere. The complementary cocktails/snacks in the afternoon is a great way to relax before dinner.

We loved the suite...although we were in it only a short time, the luxury and beauty of the suite greatly enhanced our trip. We appreciated the fact that when we arrived before check in time, not only was our suite ready for us, but coffee, tea and pastries were available to us.
