Beautiful view of the bay.
My son and I both enjoyed our visit. He crabbed on the private dock most of the day and I relaxed and read in my room with a view. In between we walked to the old town for shopping and food.
The stay was great do was our and staff
Nothing to say here
Everything and everyone here was stellar. Very accommodating. Especially Rose :) ask for her if you need anything. Terrific food incredible views awesome amenities. It couldn't have been better
The clock in bathroom didn't work. The room key wouldn't open the door to the pool. The dvd player had to be plugged in and hooked up to the tv by us. The bathroom sink was plugged when we arrived and had to call maintenance. No inside shower curtain liner so the floor was constantly soaked. The water in shower would go from normal to scalding hot. Called for a late check out and they want to charge you $10 for each hour you want to stay after check out.
The private dock and crab cooking station.
Didn't have my reservation, even though I had a confirmation number. so luckily still had a room for me, but was less then ideal. Old carpet, room in desperate need of an update. The best part of the room is the balcony.
There should be better instructions for using the TV. We had three remote controls and somehow lost control. We had to call the desk to have somebody come up and straighten it out for us.
The view was great and the suite was excellent. It was what we were hoping for and more.
The staff was great, the room was clean, close to old town. The food was excellent.
The only detraction from my stay was the guest next door to my room. They slammed their door going in and out but they thankfully weren't night owls.
The staff was polite, incredibly friendly and knowlegeable about food, activites and the general area that I had questions about.
Nothing really. The light down on the crab dock was having some difficulty staying on, but nothing a flashlight couldn't fix ;)
Embarcadero is a great place that has it all. The facilities are great and the only time we really had to leave the place was to grab some groceries and some crab bait. The pool and hot tub are well maintained and warm. The crab dock is always a highlight that our kids could spend day and night crabbing and fishing off of. And the staff were on top of everything! They were very helpful and accommodating.
kitchen looked old
easy access to crabbing. Boiling crab area provided.
Table and counter sticky
The view and overall room
The location -- within walking distance of bayfront businesses, food, etc. The working part of Newport.
Our first night was in a narrow unit, barely wide enough for the bed. The door leading to the deck was glass, and without cover - anyone could see in! The deck was deep with debris. There was only one hand towel in the bathroom. There were no hangers in the closet. The molding around the entry door was coming off the wall. There was a rats nest of wiring for the microwave, fridge, coffee maker, and TV, and it was not possible to get the room up to a comfortable temperature. There were no chairs, nor table. That was room 455.
After complaining about our first unit we were given a second room, #419, and that was promised by 1:00 PM, in time to watch the Oregon vs Florida State football game. THAT DID NOT HAPPEN. Our second night was in a suite, which was VERY nice, and what we had originally expected. It had all the amenities we could ask for.
We stayed in private owners room, not happy that my sister had to sleep on a hide a bed that was way old. Due to it was not a room with two queens. Furniture very outdated, cozy but disappointed that we were not informed of the one full size bed only.
Location, decor, views
A yang front desk female staff was not very professional, asking non-related personal questions while we were checking out, keep us waiting in the middle of service to serve somebody else come to the desk after us. We don't feel welcomed at all.
Weather was nice!
In the Bay Area there was a big boat that was operating all day and all night. Not very relaxing to sit on the balcony. It was just a constant noise but not too loud.
We booked a room for a short weekend one night stay. We got upgraded due to the room being damaged. That was a good surprise. The room itself was great.
It was a warm weekend on the coast and our room was pretty warm to. Air conditioning would be great ! :)
We stayed in a deluxe room and it was so spacious, warm and inviting. It was like home away from home. We will be back!
I couldn't find the room. It took us 20 min just to find the room. Did not like that. And the is was kinda loud "other people staying there" would liked better setting in the room.
The view was great and room was clean. The bed was very comfy.
It was a great stay with comfortable temperatures. If the temps had been in the 90's, the lack of air conditioning might be a factor
The rooms were very clean, comfortable and quiet. The view of the bay was great. A pine outside our balcony had a couple of hummingbirds visiting most of the stay. The restaurant (breakfast only for us) was great. Will definitely consider a longer stay next time we visit the Oregon coast.
Older facility. Rooms were a little stuffy. Low water pressure/cold water in morning shower.
Great view. Great service. Good value for the money. Walking distance from Newport bayfront
Old building no updates, not worth price paid.
The staff was friendly and helpful
The Embarcadero was our first overnight stay in Newport. Our room had a great view of the bay and the bridge. The restaurant was perfect and delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!
Stay was to short..
Was so much better than expected.. Room right on the bay, fireplace. Was so romantic, loved it!! Will definatly be booking this place again soon! Front counter was very nice.. Restaurant was great and accompanied our request for window seat on a busy labor day weekend.
Some of the (permanent?) residents were a bit strange, but caused no problems. The steps up to the room were not hard to manage.
We found our unit to be clean and spacious, all in working order. We loved the leather furniture in the living room, with gorgeous views of the bay. The TV system was great, the kitchen was convenient, and the separate bedroom worked well.
