The location was okay and the hotel overall was fair. The omelets were great. The beds were comfortable.
The room needs some repair work. The curtains had stains on them, the bathroom door had a few holes in it, the furniture was a little beat up in the bathroom and the bedroom and the a/c panel was pulled away from the wall. Not Hilton quality. Could stand a facelift and room upgrades.
Food, location, staff
my door to my bathroom lock was broke and the wifi login was a pain for devices
Everything but wifi!! Beautiful rooms and friendly staff. Great shuttle operators
never could get wifi to connect
Loved the breakfast with made to order omeletts and the nightly happy hour.
Only had one working washer and dryer
When I checked in I was told one price when I checked out the price was totally different and I had to ask for a receipt at check out that's when I saw the rate that I was billed for and I was never told that they hold an additional $100 for incidentals. I felt that should've been explained when I checked in.
The managers meet and greet everyday at 4:30PM and the free breakfast. The rooms were a decent size. Liked the fact that the bedroom was in the back away from the door. 1PM late check out
very noisey when we were in the front room. we had 2 rooms and one had a heavy pet odor. My wife's allergies acted up as soon as she got in the room. The breakfast was decent but very greasy.
It was only a short stay of 14 hours to see George Benson at Cobb Energy Centre
Old and dated. Too many kids. Scary clientele in other patrons. Felt like I was in the ghetto, especially at breakfast. Nothing better than sitting around African American families with kids that cussed like veteran sailors. Heard the MF word more in 20 min breakfast than have heard in the last 20 years!
The room to small uncontable... Not what I was expecting.
Close restaurants, food and happy hour.
Room needs some updating soon. It is getting a little ragged looking ie tubs and tile.
I really liked the cleanliness of the room, I can tell the housekeeper took pride in her work. The view was great and the room was ready when we arrived. Amble parking.
Front desk staff welcome could have been much better, seemed not interested as guests arrived for check in. I just counted it as a bad day because we all have them. Just didn't get a warm greeting at all. The set up of the breakfast buffet needs to be reorganized too many people in such a small space. Though I like the fact that the hotel provides such an extensive variety of hot breakfast items, it was very unorganized.
The staff was very friendly and our room was clean!
The free breakfast was unfortunately horrible and constantly out of stuff.
The room furniture was a bit old and chipped.
The hotel has been kept up well. It was clean and spacious.
The mattress in our room needed replacing. It sagged badly in the middle.
Great Breakfast Bar
Not being able to get a receipt for my expense reimbursement because I didn't book thru the hotel.
This hotel is located in a safe part of town. Check in was a breeze, took less than 4 minutes, they said since I reserved with Booking all I did was get room key - awesome! It is also very nice that they offer a made to order breakfast included with stay, not to mention the reception in the evening!
This property is not a luxurious as other Embassy Suites in which I've stayed. I was expecting a more high-end retreat. I was dissapointed and confused that the complementary shampoo in our room was not quite half full; obviously used and left by previous guest - not cool, icky. I was traveling with my family with a total of four people and our bathroom only contained three washcloths and three bath towels, I found that odd.
The staff is extraordinary. Bonus points. Walking distance to where I needed to be. Free shuttle rides to restaurants, Cumberland Mall if you have to malling, great drivers, and the Chattahoochee river for long walks/good exercise/brain clearing. Breakfast included -- but get up early to beat the line -- see what I didn't like.
There were three family reunions running in parallel. After you get past the noise and crowds, and the insanely long lines for breakfast (why did the hotel not open a second omelette station Saturday morning?), it was an Embassy Suites -- comfortable, hot shower, Internet, walking distance to where I needed to be. And, please, booking.com, please allow choices other than the bubbles for question 3. And, I was surprised that the hotel could not credit points to my hotel account because I booked through booking.com; how about fixing that, booking.com?
