The location was well received.
Never liked the parking situation.
Breakfast and PM snacks were excellent.
Loud demonstrators at entrance for 2 days of stay. Not your fault but disruptive to guests.
Wonderful room, breakfast, nightly reception. Two blocks to Michigan Avenue and two blocks to Navy Pier. Great resturants near by including Dao, Capital Grill. Lobby provides lost of area to sit and chat. There were 7 of us in our group.
The room was huge, more like an apartment, and the view of the city was incredible especially at night it was breathtaking. The staff were so friendly, couldn't do enough to help. The location was perfect, walking distance to lake or downtown. We had a great stay here, if we are ever lucky enough to be back in Chicago we would definitely come back to this hotel. Oh and the drinks reception was a lovely surprise, complimentary drinks every night for two hours!!!.
Only thing we didn't like was having to leave, it's a great hotel.
Excellent , friendly service. Modern, clean room. Central location. Great breakfast included.
Would have liked to have a better deal on parking.
Made to order omlettes!
long lines for free drinks
everything in excellent
location, breakfast, easy self-parking
drain in bathtub/shower did not work!!
This is the best hotel in Chicago if you are traveling with children.
Loved the excellent breakfast & the generous happy hour. The staff was very friendly and eager to please. The bed was very comfortable.
Wish there was a shuttle from the airport.
Excellent breakfast Rooms were clean
Parking was pricey
Friendly relaxed staff, great service, great room, lots of space to meet and work in the public areas, cocktail time is great welcome after a hard day at work
the wifi was very poor, dropped out all of the time continental breakfast with no fresh cheese was odd
Good value for family of four with two teenagers. Short walk to Magnificent Mile and Navy Pier. Quiet and peaceful.
Furniture in our room was scuffed and decor was tired. No way to get fresh air in the bedroom. The breakfast was quantity over quality - the omelette and coffee were good but other elements were bland and sugary.
Like the breakfast and the location
The parking could be explained better - give the information ahead of time as to how it works instead of having it explained by someone who's hard to understand. Also extension numbers listed next to a service so you know who to call. Called the operator about a taxi - no one picked up so went to from desk to ask - had to wait while they were waiting on someone else and then told to see valet.
It is excellent in every aspect
Location was super for sightseeing..the room was well equipped for making coffee, and getting ready for the day. Enjoyed having the additional small living room and separate door to the bedroom. It kept it quiet for the other person when showering and dressing.
Too long a line for cocktails in the evening especially in the weekend. The security/ manager needed to take action sooner before the "right to die" demonstrators entered the hotel and blocked the elevators. We had to exit through the parking lot at one point. Singing from the demonstrators woke us up chanting at 7:30 am! Not ideal!
The location was great and the accommodations were wonderful
noisy huge beakfast and limited choices.
We enjoyed the room clean, bright, with the two rooms. I felt the breakfast bar was great. The location was good for shopping and touring.
We were shocked to find all these people out in front of hotel protesting an was hard to get into. I come to the city once a year an this was my first stay here. To top this inside hotel next am all this protesting early an blocking elevators, unreal. I was concerned for our safety. It took nearly 2 hrs. I feel it should have been handled more promptly. When checking out attendant just brushed it off. We were charged extra for checking in early, have stayed at other hotels an not charged . I was disappointed in evening appetizers.
The delicious breakfasts - made to order or buffet. Everything was hot and tasty. The Manager's Reception at 5:30 with complimentary snacks and beverages was an unexpected delight. The suite style rooms were perfect and the beds were comfortable and quiet.
Great location to walk to local businesses and attractions
Our room wasn't serviced by housekeeping every day.
NEAD the caffe nice place in hotel
We only stayed for a night on our honeymoon, but the desk help at the entrance was so friendly and helpful with recommending places to go and things to see. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Price of parking was really expensive as well as room rate.
Parking, it is too expensive. It should be free or not so expensive. 58 dollars a night is too much
My family enjoyed the nightly happy hour and breakfast served. It saved us time and money at other restaurants during our stay.
The cost of parking was a bit on the expensive size. I wish they discounted it with the room reservation.
