The wifi was too expensive. It should be included in the per night rate.
Location, gym and quality of facilities were excellent. Beds were comfortable, staff very helpful and friendly
Dont have any dislikes
B'fast, location, rooms have 2 televisions
New room had temperature valve that was loose causing us to hold handle during shower. Almost caused burns to our kids. Breakfast made to order was short staffed and got order wrong. No fan in bathroom. Staff not real helpful.
Great new room. Good Breakfast. Great location.
Very noisy construction work when I stayed Breakfast Buffett very average not good value for money
May sound silly, but didn't like candy and pop machines. You had to purchase some sort of special "package" in order to get a code to use the snack and drink machines. Weird. There was a gift shop with concessions, but the hours were funky, sometimes the person was in, sometimes she wasn't, even with posted hours. If this hotel could just put in "normal" coin operated machines for snacks and beverages, that would be great! Wanted a soda one night, gift shop was closed and I didn't have the special code to operate the machine. Called the front desk and was offered bottled water.
The location was great and cabs were readily available with help from the concierge. Breakfast was superb, but busy and crowded. View from our room was unbelievable!
We had a few issues but all were quickly solved by the staff. Only wish would be for queen sized beds vs the full sized.
Every staff person we encountered was friendly, attentive, helpful and did their best to make it a great stay. Excellent breakfasts and evening cocktails.
Great location in downtown Chicago.
The breakfast is included with the room rate but unlike many places, the breakfast here was awesome.
It was very busy. You have to line up, but we'll managed. The pool is quite narrow.
Friendly welcoming staff (typical Chicago) Nice cooked to order buffet breakfast. Lots fruit available. Across street from Whole Foods. Walking distance to Navy Pier, Chicago river cruises, and the stop for Double Deck & Trolley tours. Also some good restaurants along Ohio street.
Poor craftsmanship in the rooms. Rooms way too small, no kitchen. Big hole behind the couch. Construction noise was not conducive to relaxing during the day. Chlorine gas burned eyes in hot tub. Parking should be free.
Loved the free breakfast, drinks and happy hour. Kids liked the free vending machines.
Had trouble with the WiFi in our room. No signal. The evening reception appetizers could have been better quality.
Hotel staff was really helpful. Rooms were very clean. Short walking distance to numerous wonderful restaurants.
The front desk staff was extremely friendly courteous and helpful
The breakfast, to many people to serve at one time, ran out of everything and the biscuits and gravy was the worst I have ever looked at or tasted.
The rooms and the location.
furniture was a little old and worn.
Had a great room for the children to view Chicago, the Lake and the river
Convenient to travel and shopping; very comfortable and relaxing hotel, no worries- breakfast is ready when you are and you are set for the day.
Location of elevators
The service of wifi is not free
The suite and the breakfast were excellent
Room needs to be fixed. Door broken, carpet not clean etc. But renovation is under way.
Complimentary hot and cold breakfast. Location Size of room
My check out was 12 noon. Maid opened my door at 9:30 and 10:00.
I like the suites set up.
We didn't care for the parking lot underneath at all ... lots of walking to get up to the hotel with no signage for directions. You walk for 2 blocks to the elevator, then up a couple floors, then across a valet lobby, then another elevator up to the lobby?! The lobby smelled like chlorine from the pool which is adjacent to the seating for brunch. Pool looked small and lots of kids. The hotel feel was very family oriented and a little noisy. Elevators only on front side of hotel. The room was very comfy but very small feeling with the two rooms separated by the bathroom and a hallway. The venting in the front room was easy to hear other rooms but the bedroom was quiet and cozy. Overall good value and we did enjoy our stay.
The staff was very friendly! We stayed over the weekend and the room was clean and turned over timely while we were out. Great location 1 block to the river, 2 blocks to shopping, and just as close to Navy Pier. It was very easy to grab a cab to get anywhere down miracle mile for about $6 or $7 bucks w/o worrying about the car. Nice basic, clean accommodations and a very comfy bed for a very fair price. The included morning brunch to order was the best!
The price, breakfast and comfort.
The free breakfast was really good and the bed so comfortable.
Security should be consistent with monitoring noisy activity in the same area, esp when it's outside room!
Timothy was a great help after the suite was unavailable that I had originally booked. The reception and breakfast was more than I could ask for. Thank you!
The pool was extremely small an over crowded we didnt get to enjoy it because of that
Great view of the city close we walked to everything in the downtown area
Rude staff. If your paying $$$$ for a hotel, you should be treated with respect.
