I like the suites set up.
My check out was 12 noon. Maid opened my door at 9:30 and 10:00.
The staff was very friendly! We stayed over the weekend and the room was clean and turned over timely while we were out. Great location 1 block to the river, 2 blocks to shopping, and just as close to Navy Pier. It was very easy to grab a cab to get anywhere down miracle mile for about $6 or $7 bucks w/o worrying about the car. Nice basic, clean accommodations and a very comfy bed for a very fair price. The included morning brunch to order was the best!
We didn't care for the parking lot underneath at all ... lots of walking to get up to the hotel with no signage for directions. You walk for 2 blocks to the elevator, then up a couple floors, then across a valet lobby, then another elevator up to the lobby?! The lobby smelled like chlorine from the pool which is adjacent to the seating for brunch. Pool looked small and lots of kids. The hotel feel was very family oriented and a little noisy. Elevators only on front side of hotel. The room was very comfy but very small feeling with the two rooms separated by the bathroom and a hallway. The venting in the front room was easy to hear other rooms but the bedroom was quiet and cozy. Overall good value and we did enjoy our stay.
The price, breakfast and comfort.
The free breakfast was really good and the bed so comfortable.
Timothy was a great help after the suite was unavailable that I had originally booked. The reception and breakfast was more than I could ask for. Thank you!
Security should be consistent with monitoring noisy activity in the same area, esp when it's outside room!
Great view of the city close we walked to everything in the downtown area
The pool was extremely small an over crowded we didnt get to enjoy it because of that
Rude staff. If your paying $$$$ for a hotel, you should be treated with respect.
The room was nice.
The line at the breakfast was way to long no matter what time you went. The WiFi was not free. the girl that answered the phone when you call the front desk was not very polite.
Location and amenities
Long lines for managers reception and breakfast.
The Internet connection
Staff including management were awesome and very helpful - especially Patricia the bar mgr. She provided excellent entertainment advise for a Tuesday evening (We had a great time!) .
Bedroom window could have been sealed better, could feel cold air coming in (not a show stopper).
The breakfast was awesome
The water was shut off hours and after the water came on it was very dirty. I felt the springs in the mattress, WiFi was not free,Valet parking cost was a joke!
We went on a slow weekend in January and couldn't beat the price...under $100 a night in downtown! Great breakfast, made to order and close to everything. Nice evening reception and not too crowded.
Little dated but it is in the midst of a renovation. Pool area is small
Room suites are great and the managers reception is outstanding
Pool area is too small
Great price, very family friendly, nice staff. Location can't be better. Free good and drink. Room was a good size and was perfect for our situation.
Food and drink mostly junk food. Bartender not very good while at end of shift. A little dated decor and paint in room.
Great pool and breakfast!
Free breakfast with made to order omelettes and anything else you could imagine, huge room with a great view - we wished we could have spent more time in the room. Also they let us in very early, their normal check in time is three and we were in before noon! Also they held onto our bags for us the next day after check out so we could do some extra shopping! We loved this hotel absolutely nothing wrong with it. Will definitely come back!
This Embassy Suites was conveniently located to the loop as well as Michigan Avenue. It provided a perfect base to take care of business as well as shop.
The entrances to this hotel are hidden. Initially, it is hard to find your way to the front desk.
The glass elevator
Comfortable bed Great location - walk to many attractions Excellent value Great breakfast (included!) Who doesn't like a Happy Hour? Comfortable room I highly recommend this hotel. The staff was always accommodating and friendly and I feel they all worked extremely well together to create a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere for both families and business travelers alike. I would definitely stay there again.
We enjoyed our stay with you. The hotel was within walking distance of the Magnificent Mile, Navy Pier and even Millenium Park.
Crowds at breakfast. It was holiday week.
excellent value and convenient to so much to do! 2nd time staying here, I'll be back in June!
Lines for breakfast are long during peak hours on weekends. Go early to enjoy good selection and no waiting.
Downtown Chicago is pricey. Embassy is a good choice if you're looking to save a buck.
We purchased a premium package which was suppose to include vending machine access. Of the 5 days we stayed it only worked 2. Breakfast was cold everyday. The pool area was dirty. We stayed over the holiday so I would guess that played into it, it was very busy.
It was packed at breakfast. Hard to find seat. Recommend not going right before closes.
