Not a bunch This was not what I expect from an Embassy Suites - it was dirty and in poor repair when compared to every other Embassy Suites I have ever stayed at! The breakfast / reception area had a very sticky floor in the evening and was still that way at breakfast, the carpets are stained, walls are dirty, the place needs basically cleaned up and meet the Embassy Suite standards I was very disappointed in this location

Other than the fact they sent the shuttle for me! , I have nothing good to say for them.Upon checking in after a late arrival from Europe I was met with hostility and arrogance from the counter staff. I asked if I could get some assistance with my bags and was rudely told there is the door that leads to your floor and room. The room was dirty and the heat would not work. To top everything off, there also was not hot water. The staffs reply? "What do you want me to do about it?" If this is a Chicago 5 Star hotel, I shudder to even think what a dive looks like!

For a non-smoking room there was a strong oder of smoke in and near the room. It also had an ashtray in the room. I double checked and sure enough there was a non-smoking insignia on the door as on all the doors in the hall. I was not pleased.

部屋が広々しており、リラックスできる。廊下その他のじゅうたんが厚く、人の足音等が響かず静かに安眠でき- た。 空港から無料シャトルがあるが、結構時間がかかった。フロントでチェックイン時、早口で説明され、わかりず- らかった。

The desk person that helped us get our long term car parking set up on Dec. 9 was one of the friendliest and most helpful people I've encountered in the service industry. She was terrific. The service and amenities were great. Confusion about the timing of the airport shuttle service. We were told that the shuttle ran every 20 mintues to O'Hare and planned our departure accordingly. When came to the front for the 6:30 shuttle we were told would be there, we learned that the service had been cut the day before to only one driver/shuttle per hour. On the good side is that the desk personnel made a call and got the shuttle to pick up a group of about 8 people (who all thought they would have 6:30 shuttle). Not exactly "on time" but it got done. Guests should have been told the actual schedule, though.
